Correction: I believe I misspoke and said the class system isn't going to work. This was a bad audio cut. What I meant was that the classes will work, but currently are not in a working order for multiplayer, but the single player is working. The devs will work on multiplayer once everything else is good to go!

why would EA shut this down, if they have a problem then they should release it again with servers. I actually own this game so i can do whatever the hek i want.

It's been officially shut down, but fans of the games have brought it back.
Revive was shut down, but the game is still playable online through other mods and methods. I need to actually figure those out so I can make a video on it :D

I give it a month until EA shuts it down, Or more likely EA will wait until it's almost done, Than shut it down. Like in true EA fashion.
The reason Revive got taken down was because they were distributing the game. The online functionality was never the issue apparently based on all reports I've heard. So a mod like this should be 100% okay so long as it is a mod and they do not distribute the game files.

BF went to shit because of COD and consoles for no reason at all BF has always been the better game, they had no need to compete. One the same note the same thing happened to COD except COD went a little more crazy and away from their winning formula.
