This is interesting for the guitar mixing. I feel like I’ve noticed a theme with a lot of shoegaze tracks not cutting the harsh frequencies or using something like soothe. More raw sounding.

I like the drum machine parts on many Beach House tunes but not a drummer and don't know how to capture that feel in terms of what kind of patterns to use and what sounds as well.
