You're forgetting that the pressure is ridiculously high. I mean the literal air pressure. For Selumna Peaks at 14:14, it says that the pressure is 36 inches of mercury. Then with San Loma Assault at 17:43, it's 49.4inHg. Moloch Desert (23:18) comes in a 53.3inHg (i.e. more than 75% standard pressure at sea level). Weapons of Mass Destruction (25:48) has 49.6in, the Liberation of Gracemeria (29:42) features a pressure of 53.3inHg again, Gracemeria Patrol (32:03) has 53.1, and finally, Chandelier (35:36) gives us 52.7. If we do the math, that gives us an average atmospheric pressure of 49.6 inches of mercury. That's more than 65% the standard atmospheric pressure at sea level.
Might explain why Emmeria has such a seeminly temperate climate despite being so high in latitude. It always bothered me how Usea has basically Arctic conditions at it's northern areas even though it's northern areas don't reach up so high. Could be related to ocean currents or just the mistake of how Usea was placed into Strangereal when Namco started to fully develop AC4.
Yeah this was my impression of this game just from this video. (to the tune of the conga line song) "TALKING TALKING TALKING! TALKING TALKING TALKING!"

@@firedrakeillusional9862 buck you. AC7's storytelling is just like AC04 (complete with silent and nigh-still cutscenes) with more focus on more than just two characters.
A sin should be taken off for Ace 6’s massive scale of battle. Especially for Anea Landing and Siege on Sliva. It makes the ground battles and landing campaigns in Ace Combat 5(Bunker shoot and Desert Lightning especially) look like childish gameplay. The allies fire support system is also epic. You never have such a fierce friendly support in all other versions.
@@陈逸凡陈逸凡 That's actually far less unreasonable than you might expect. The GAU-8 used by the A-10 fires both HE incendiary and AP rounds, and the AP rounds are solid depleted-uranium slugs. There's no explosive filler in them, so unless rounds hit the car's fuel tank there's no reason for it to explode. The sheer kinetic energy behind DU rounds would certainly disable the car even if the engine wasn't directly hit, maybe even rip the body off the frame, but there wouldn't be an explosion. Now, why a Warthog on occupation patrol wouldn't be using high explosive, which is much more effective against insurgents as they don't have access to armor, is another story.

CRUISING ON DOWN KING'S BRIDGE YOU'RE RELAXED AND FEELING GOOD NEXT THING THAT YOU KNOW YOU'RE SEEIN'-- *_(OH NOOOOOOO!)_* "FIGHTER JETS IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD?!?!?!"
Executive: So you have an Ace Combat sequel for me? Writer: Yes sir, I do, I was thinking of having the title be Fires of Liberation Executive: Sounds pretty liberating, what's it about? Writer: Well first off we're going to look at a house instead of an airport. Executive: Why a house? The last two Ace Combat games didn't show one. Writer: Because I want this to be as confusing as possible. Executive: Oh okay. Writer: So then we meet Melissa Herman who's supposed to be helping her daughter Matilda but is too attached to her book so she doesn't. Executive: Wow, getting attached to a book so that you don't have to help your child get ready for school is TIGHT. Writer: It really is. Executive: So then what? Writer: Well shortly after Matilda goes to school, Melissa starts talking to us about the city and Gracemeria Bridge which is the Pride of Gracemeria and then after that she starts talking about the castle which is where Matilda is going on a field trip and is also more famous than the bridge. Executive: If the castle is more famous than the bridge, how come the bridge is the Pride of Gracemeria? Writer: I don't know. Executive: Fair enough. Writer: So then the Estovakians attack and the Emmerians have to give up Gracemeria. Executive: How so? Writer: Well because the Estovakians brought along the Aigaion which was just as big as Hresvelger in the 0th game. Executive: If that's the case then how come Emmeria's satellites didn't detect it? Writer: Unclear. Executive: Oh okay. Writer: So then later on we meet Voychek. Executive: What's his deal? Writer: Well he's a lonely guy with a cane and was shot down by Talisman. Executive: During the time when we play as Talisman? Writer: Yes. Executive: Then what if we don't shoot him down, what happens then? Writer: Okay I'm gonna need you to get all the way off my back on that one. Executive: Oh okay, I'll get off of that back. Writer: Thank you. Executive: So then what happens? Writer: Well as Talisman and Shamrock are busy liberating the country, Melissa decides to go back to go back to Gracemeria to get her daughter that was left there. Executive: Well that's gonna be difficult being that Khesed Island is on the far other end of Gracemeria. Writer: Actually it's gonna be super easy, barely an inconvenience. Executive: Oh really? Writer: Yeah see, as she starts to give up, she meets Ludmila who just so happens to have a car. Executive: Wow wow wow. Writer: Wow. Executive: So what's Ludmila doing? Writer: She's also going to Gracemeria because her boyfriend is there. Executive: Coincidence? Writer: I think not. Executive: So then what? Writer: So then we get introduced a tank crew consisting of the gunner who doesn't say anything, the captain who speaks a lot, and the driver who also talks and used to rob banks. Executive: Wait if the driver was a criminal, how is he in the military? Writer: I don't know. Executive: Fair enough. Writer: So then they start liberating some more until they get to Selumna Peaks. Executive: Why do they stop liberating there? Writer: Well because Aigaion attacks them. Executive: Uh oh. Writer: Yeah so then they decide to take out the Aigaion. Executive: Well if the Aigaion has Nimbus Missiles and Strigion Team then it's gonna be pretty difficult to take it out. Writer: Actually it's gonna be super easy, barely an inconvenience. Executive: Oh really? Writer: Yeah see, they'll just borrow Galm 1's strategy. Executive: Destroy the AA guns, engines, and control bridge? Writer: Yep, five times. Executive: Awsome, I love it, what about the Strigion Team? Writer: Well they're all gonna go out like Espada Team did. Executive: Good we must've gotten rid of them now. Writer: Oh no, they return again. Executive: For the fourth time? Writer: For the fourth time. Executive: Having to fight the same aces over and over is TIGHT. Writer: It really is, especially if it gets you suspended. Executive: Oh Talisman and Shamrock get in trouble for it? Writer: Yeah because I made it so that you wouldn't be able to follow your orders even if you wanted to. Executive: Wow wow wow. Writer: So then they realize that Talisman and Shamrock are needed after twenty-four hours of suspension because they need them to destroy the WMD which is currently being transported to Gracemeria. Executive: Why couldn't we get another squadron like Windhover or Avalanche to destroy the WMD? Writer: Because I want to give players a trench mission because you can't have Ace Combat without one of those. Executive: Oh okay. Writer: So then we see Melissa and Ludmila again who have hitched a ride with the tank crew we saw a while ago. Executive: Okay. Writer: And then the tank crew leaves them in the middle of a forest so that they can rob a bank. Executive: Makes you wonder if the Emmerian Military does background checks on anyone before they let them in the military. Writer: It really does. Executive: So then what happens? Writer: So then Talisman and Shamrock liberate Gracemeria and take out Pasternak. Executive: Who's Pasternak? Writer: My excuse to have a rival in the game. Executive: Oh okay. Writer: So then the tank crew gets to the bank which is actually the castle. Executive: What's in the castle? Writer: Some kids, one of them being Matilda, Voychek, and the statue of the Golden King. Executive: So does the tank crew let the kids and Voychek out and mounts the statue onto their tank? Writer: Yep. Executive: Wow wow wow. Writer: So then Melissa and Matilda get reunited. Executive: Oh how sweet. Writer: Then later that night while the Garuda team is on patrol as the fireworks go off, we learn that Shamrock's wife and daughter were murdered by the Estovakians. Executive: Ouch, talk about ruining a heartwarming moment. Writer: I know, right. So then the Estovakians attack Gracemeria again, this time using the Chandelier. Executive: What's Chandelier? Writer: My excuse to have a big super weapon fight at the end. Executive: Oh okay. Writer: So then the Emmerian air force head over to Sonne Island to take out the Chandelier and Melissa manages to get in contact with them. Executive: How does she do that when she's 1,000 miles away from them? Writer: I don't know. Executive: Fair enough. Writer: So then they attack the Chandelier and while going through a tunnel Shamrock gets shot down. Executive: Whoops. Writer: Whoopsie. Executive: So then who deals the final blow? Writer: Well obviously Talisman. Executive: How? Writer: By going straight into Chandelier's barrel which he manages to escape from. Executive: Destroying super weapons by shooting the barrel is TIGHT. Writer: It really is. Executive: So then what. Writer: So then Ludmila and Tosha get married. Executive: Who's Tosha? Writer: I just made him up. Executive: Oh okay. Writer: And then Shamrock and Melissa get together, possibly making Shamrock Matilda's step-dad. Executive: Wait, Shamrock is still alive? Writer: Yes he is. Executive: How is he alive? Writer: Because I want him to be alive. Executive: Oh okay, so then what? Writer: That's it. What do you think? Executive: Well the story's kinda odd but if we make it an Xbox 360 exclusive instead of a PlayStation 3 exclusive no one will care and they'll still pay for it anyway. Writer: Exactly.
"Go Dance With the Angels." Blaze & Cipher: "Angels? We killed them." "Uh... Go dance with the devils?" Blaze & Cipher: "Yeah.... that's us." "Well... shit..."
Fun fact: It's alluded that Cipher is the Demon of the North Chopper says he heard stories about as a kid. This is further supported by the fact that Cipher's exploits in Zero greatly parallel the Razgriz legend (he could also be considered to be the Dark Demon part of the legend while Wardog/Razgriz would be the great hero half).
In regard to your question about if the drones were actually rendered in Mission 1, they are. When you're retreating, you can see drones flying to the left and right of you and that's why sometimes there are Nimbus Bursts just as you're leaving mission airspace. They're there, but obviously no target info on them.
So the last time you were this early was June 6, 1995? Dude RUclips wasn't even a thing until like 2003 so you clearly must be some kind of time-traveler.
When you think about it we got a downgrade in Ace Combat 7. In AC6 the picture in picture of enemy, friendly and wingman shows a video of them moving and talking. But in AC7 it is either a hand-drawn picture or a photo. That and in AC7 our wingman does nothing to help us.
Still winds up sounding off, mostly along with references to "Italian food" in other games and Melissa's dialogue which winds up feeling even more lifeless and flat than the child from AC4.
@@kereminde Don't forget one Belkan superweapon being a direct reference to Arthurian legend (Excalibur) and the other superweapon in the same game being named for the Norse jötunn who is the origin of wind (Hræsvelgr).
I thought you would sin this line: "Don't get overeager! Just do what you always do!" What an Ace Combat veteran hears: "So, don't kill everything, but do kill everything."
20:28 As the Strigons took casualties, Estovakia aggregated what was left of Strigon with Vampire Team, who had originially been commanded by Ilya Pasternak. 27:36 Everyone was waiting either out of radar range of the Stovies or on the ground ready to scramble to Exfil Garuda if need be. 29:52 The Bridge is the pride of Gracemeria, the Golden King is the pride of Emmeria.
38:48 You know, I think since Shamrock lived anyway, it would be better narrative-wise to kill off *Talisman.* You know, the player character for once doesn't make it, but his irreversible sacrifice makes him look different from all other faceless player characters. And they wouldn't even have to change the final cutscene, it would just be interpreted more bitter-sweetenly than if Talisman lived.
This was the first game of the ace combat series I had ever played and I fell in love with the universe and the story. I know it has many flaws, and I would be one of the first to call it out if asked, but this game still holds a special place in my heart. I played it for so long, I loved the characters and the different units you would interact with, some staying with you all the way to the liberation off Gracemeria. One thing I sorely miss is the operations. To me, it felt like I was part of a bigger cause, with massive ground battles and ariel fights that could be swung in favor by the player. There were so many little stories within the campaign that I loved to explore it. I understand that this game is not everyone's favorite, but I just wanted to say that I loved this game and all of the massive set-piece battles, the characters, and units. It brought me into the franchise and I intend to continue to be a loyal supporter of this franchise for many years to come!

21:11 I *still* can't get over how cringy that line is. Here's a line Shamrock should have said that would have also referenced Ace Combat 5 (as the Razgriz Straits also appears in this game) "Into the deep blue grave. Oh especially that Mine who got the name butchered to hell, Razuriz?? Sounded like a mistranslation but ok, i mean imagine this game like mention Razgriz for one or more time. Yeah anyway Chandelier's placement is pretty much not that far from Hrimfaxi's grave
I couldn't help but say "You right" throughout the video even when I played I didn't think that hard about alot of the plot errors and laughable dialogue but I still love the game
I'll be back here when the prediction proves false. Even the best games have some number of sins, my friend. The question is, are you willing to look past them?

15:00 If we take Ace Combat 7 VR Mode into consideration, it's possible for Mobius 1 to take part in the Selumna Peak mission. I'm sure the IUN-PKF had little involvement in the Emmeria-Estovakia war. After all, it IS an international peacekeeping force.
34:52 chandelier is actually mounted on a floating iceberg that can turn AND move. so yeah, it CAN move. "Estovakia chose to construct the weapon on a glacier, which would allow it to rotate and sail to different locations."
Well, one nitpick- pilots generally are more risqué with nose art but it's also true that the amount of clothes is directly proportional to the distance from a major civilian presence. In the capital, this is what I'd expect. Out in the desert where no one is you get naked ladies (except not anymore irl because apparently it offends the locals- more than using said planes to drop bombs on their countrymen in fact).
I'm pretty sure Chandelier actually can move on its own. It's built onto a massive ice shelf, and you can definitely see what looks like a gigantic propulsion system (The wikia states that they installed a Magneto-hydrodynamic drive) at the back of it during the mission. How else would it have been able to engage the asteroids (If it was completed in time) if it was stuck facing one direction? It's basically a gigantic ship made out of ice, with the superweapon constructed on top of it.
33:33 Nitpick, pretty sure that was in reference to the "banter' between Shamrock and Avalanche as a bit of a joke since that's in the same area code you're flying in. So Windhover was making fun of Avalanche and Shamrock I think.
Personally, when Shamrock went down, GhostEye losing his composure and calling Shamrock by his real name stuck out to me. I thought the emotion in that was nailed perfectly.
I like how any line that is "Dance with the Angels" gets automatically sinned after the first few times and basically becomes the running gag of the video XD
I'd also like to point out that whenever there are cruise missile attacks they come from the North by Northeast part of the map. Which doesn't make sense given that the Aigaion is to the South. Also for the radar detection issue in mission 9 I would guess it's because the 112's wings are so long it blocks of the front left/right or center of the Kottos aircraft; which subsequently does the same to the Gyges as seen in the cutscene.
I know some of you guys were hoping for me to sin "DON'T WALK" right at the end of the game. That one got cut in favor of... well... the rant I ended up with XD Please remember that most sins got cut for time, as these are long videos!
16:22 Funnily enough the drones *are* rendered (and possibly functioning) in the first mission. I know because in one of my playthroughs, I had one fly in front of me for a few moments before flying off and then an orange bubble appeared on the radar roughly where the "black flying thing" that I saw would have been after leaving my fov.
24:20 This bugged the piss out of me the first time I played this game...and still does. I'm supposed to be Garuda *1*, as in the one who gives Garuda *2* orders, but this is the one time where the game forces me to help Garuda 2 disobey orders from AWACS.
13:38 I bet his name is another Namco arcade reference just like Sky Kid, and yeaaaah I bet instead of eating his salad on lunch , he SMOKED the salad 😂😂😂😂😂
Just in case if you watch this on mobile phone, sin at 2:51 indicates that your wingman fires a missile right next to you. This is what it confused me for quite a long time (and why Sly sinned it while I don't see or hear shit) since phones are not sensitive to hear some or particular SFX, but computer speakers can.
Wouldn't it be more efficient for the bus/train to drop the refugees off as soon as they are reasonably safe and then go back for more people who are still in the conflict zone. Far more people can be evacuated in a short time if you use this method.
37:54 Aight hold on here, of all times to say the moment was ruined, I just cannot understand at all choosing the part where the eternally-happy and collected AWACS breaks character, loses his cool completely for the only time in the game and screams for the dude not by callsign but by name. If anything that drove it in deeper for me.
So wait...the officer guy lost TWO briefcases in enemy territory, and yet they still entrusted him with classified information on their last-ditch, possibly-win-the-war superweapon?!
Damn, I wanted to see "Emmerian pilot does not have access to classified foreign military files" in the tunnel part. :P And the Anea landing mission makes me wonder why the soon to be recaptured oil reserves that could be used by friendly logistics are targets... And Chandelier seems mobile to me, floating on that massive iceberg. (Also the song fits with the Estovakians' mood IMO as well.) Anyway, good game.
Missed the oportunity of doing a bonus round sinning every "Go dance with the angels" instead of sinning them individually kinda How cinema sins does in some videos.
About those machine guns, considering that the plane we saw were A-10s and probably their unseen escorts. It’s semantic but it’s not even machine gun, it’s a bloody autocannon. I’m more astounded that a civilian vehicle engine was able to survive a hit from either 20, 25, or 30mm autocannon and got them that far, a much more acceptable explanation would be that the engine was hit by the fragments from those strafing aircrafts.
Sin 233: The Boltzmann Treaty is maybe referring to the unnamed treaty mentioned in the pre-mission briefing that multiple nations signed together that prohibited any further development of Anti-Asteroid Superweapons due to its potential for evil. Given what happened with Stonehenge, Fortress Intolerance, and Megalith, this seems to be plausible. However, that should still be sinned, because the treaty should have been named. We have another treaty that was only brought up once, but it still got named: The Treaty of Lumen, that (mostly) ended the Belkan War.
When a flight of planes is to take off in wartime, many airforces only clear the plane at the front of the formation to take off. This is because several flights could be on the runway simultaneously and it's just a waste of time to call out individual flights.
I dunno, I loved the Chandelier music and thought it fit with the frigid desolate area the gun is in. Also, I always thought the guy loading the Stauros shells sounded cool, not sure why - maybe it's the radio distortion used in his dialogue.
Tbh, English is not my native language but I would've added a sin for how they constantly say "this thing"...I always thought it sounded weird, especially since the usual formula is to just say "this", like "This isn't over yet" instead of "this thing isn't over yet"
I was hoping to see a sin for the Strigon AI on Bartolomeo, lol! Anyway awesome job as always, fortunately the game is so awesome gameplay- and graphic-wise that i can ignore that horrible writing!
And if he's no good with directions, how is he still in the military? You've never served in the Military. Officers that aren't good with directions are pretty common.
Project ACES/Bandai Namco has the same hard on for the number 15 that Bungie had for 7. 15 years between the Belkan War and the Circum Pacific War, 15 years between the First and Second Continental Wars, 15 years between Ulyssess and Chandelier's destruction.
In an odd twist, the manual for the game reveals why the Estovakians went to war against Emmeria in the first place-back when Estovakia looked more like the wild west, the Emmerians sent humanitarian aid to help the innocents, most of which ended up falling into a warlord who infamously threatened to starve 250,000 people caught in the crossfire until the other factions gave him what he wanted. When the Emmerians found out, they stopped...only to get back at it again a year later, even though they were fully aware that this was a thing, not that it mattered when the guy was defeated by the faction who won the civil war after 5 long years. The Estovakians (or at least the Generals) have a valid reason to hate Emmeria due to this. Of course, this is never communicated in the game itself, even when we see through the eyes of the Intelligence Officer, so it looks like a Black and White conflict when it really isn't.
It's not as black and white as that, either. We have the information on the wiki. Thing is, though, Cinema Sins always says "the books do not matter" in regards to movies made from books, so I follow the same sort of rule of ignoring outside lore for the most part.
Just in time for 7, can't watch it now because it hasn't premiered yet, I bet it'll be great. This'll be a great snapshot of Sly's state of mind before 7 where he'll be updating the fan wiki for weeks on end running on only AC7 memes and coffee, and the knowledge that we all have hidden pitchforks while we're also waiting for him to post EWW:AC7.
I never understood how they used "Dance with the Angels". They constantly throw it as an insult, but then they tell their friends to dance with the angels as encouragement, and cheerfully talk about how they're dancing with the angels. What kind of insult is this?
Maybe the meaning changes based on the tone, kinda like "go screw yourself!" Can be either playful/endearing if said in a light tone, or an insult. Not defending it or anything though. Everytime my wingman said that stupid line, I honestly made an effort to blow him out of the sky with the EML.
There are multiple pronunciations to Strigon. It does not matter. And yes, the drones are rendered in the 1st mission. You can see and hit them, but invincible.
SlyCooperFan1, I don't think you should have sinned the cutscene where the dude says, "Back to the sea you go. May you rest... in quiet slumber." Aigaion is the name the son of Gaia. He rules over the seas storms. The dude was obviously referencing this. The reference also fits pretty well since the heavy command cruiser caused a 'storm' wherever nimbus launched. "Back to the sea you go." - Referencing Greek Aiagion. "May you rest in quiet slumber." - Basically telling the cruiser and the myth to stop creating storms. The info is on Acepedia too, which is where I got it from. If anything, I think a sin should have been taken off for the reference, as it was a good line imo. Yes, not many people will get the reference, but if they want to know why the reference exists, they would search it up and find out about Aigaion in the mythos. Learning/Knowledge should never be sinned. SlyCooperFan1 Sin count +1 Further more, Chandelier is NOT Stuck in place. It's a giant iceberg ship, you can see the path it took to turn around and face Gracemeria on the map. AND you can see the giant engine on the back!!! SlyCooperFan1 Sin count +2 I believe the point of Shamrock flying into the tunnel was to get data for AWACS. AWACS didn't have any data on the backup cooling unit, so Shamrock flew down and got either a camera shot or radar data on the cooling unit.
36:55 did you expect that we _could_ destroy those *hypervelocity** shells? *yes, electromagnetic railguns have muzzle velocity over 3-6 km/s Ah, no. Those missle on the carousel below the gun *yes, that a sin*
Also in Ragno Fortress, the tunnel operation and the Windhover operation are listed as start positions 2 and 3 respectively, but in the mission they are switched around and they are C and B
kingofmonsters14 it’s partly why I actually enjoy the series, it’s just over the top Hollywood style action that makes you feel like a badass fighter pilot out of top gun, realism isn’t a factor for me in this game
@@kingofmonsters14 Very few characters with focus act like human beings. Like when Melissa and Matilda are finally reunited in Gracemaria's liberation, any human mother and daughter would be hugging each other fiercely and crying of joy. Instead, they decided to regurgitate the "dance with the angels" thing again, rather than having a real, organic moment of emotion. With the exception of Shamrock in some places and the general guy with the kids, the whole game seems to be seeped in unnatural interactions like this. It takes you out of the moment and just reminds you that this is all fictional and makes you wonder why you should care about any of them when there's barely two identifiably human characters in the whole game.
The drones actually do render in at the first mission and you CAN shoot them down. It’s just that they don’t have any IFF and they are incredibly hard to see.

If we do the math, that gives us an average atmospheric pressure of 49.6 inches of mercury. That's more than 65% the standard atmospheric pressure at sea level.
this deserves more praise than it has
I can't believe I didn't notice the pressure gauges in the briefing screens! Incredible find!
I think the numbers are just screen fillers.
Which makes you wonder how the aircraft fly so fast *DING!*
What makes it funnier is that that the EWW:AC5 video was nitpicky fun but everything about the cutscenes in this video is an actual valid complaint.

AND a sin should be given for that mini Car that is hit by A-10’s 30MM shells AND just suffer an engine failure (instead of being blown to pieces) 😆
AND there should be some sins for AOA campaigns. That’s the most ridiculous ones. 😆
@@陈逸凡陈逸凡 A lot of what you're saying was stuff I did sin in the early draft, but I had to cut. Please read the description.
Pixy is laughing at you. PJ is kinda chuckling. Edge, Chopper, Archer and Snow just turned away.

"FIGHTER JETS IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD?!?!?!"
Executive: So you have an Ace Combat sequel for me?
Writer: Yes sir, I do, I was thinking of having the title be Fires of Liberation
Executive: Sounds pretty liberating, what's it about?

Well the Nation of Islam does have a particular thing against female vanity but seriously guys: priorities.
I have to play this game, but every time they say "dance with the angels" or something like that, I'll drink a shot of vodka

"There's not enough vodka-"
33:33 Nitpick, pretty sure that was in reference to the "banter' between Shamrock and Avalanche as a bit of a joke since that's in the same area code you're flying in. So Windhover was making fun of Avalanche and Shamrock I think.

The Aigaion is only to the south during the mission we shoot it down. Remember, the thing flies.

Missed the oportunity of doing a bonus round sinning every "Go dance with the angels" instead of sinning them individually kinda How cinema sins does in some videos.
27:49 "I've been looking forward to this"
About those machine guns, considering that the plane we saw were A-10s and probably their unseen escorts.
I’m just gonna say this now. Galm 1 may not necessarily be Cipher. Its been like 20 years since we last saw him so maybe someone took over from him.
Just finished this game, it´s honestly pretty awesome.
Holy shit I always thought Melissa was Tallisman's wife. WHAAAT
I didn't know this was something I wanted. Thank you very much for sinning one of my favorite series.
A game where you fight in the Estovakian Civil War would be nice, but it would be a lot like ACZ
I loved every second of the video Sly, you did an amazing job, and yeah, calling out every sin in this game would probably be a 2 hours long video :D
Yohyus, I... LOVE the RUclips Premiere system! *;^D*
I think it's fine for special, lengthy or one-off stuff like this.
Project ACES/Bandai Namco has the same hard on for the number 15 that Bungie had for 7. 15 years between the Belkan War and the Circum Pacific War, 15 years between the First and Second Continental Wars, 15 years between Ulyssess and Chandelier's destruction.
I wonder if Sly would add sins for everytime someone says "Can you hear me" in Ace Combat 7
27:53 - Literally my favourite thing in the game. Also: (Shamrock gets it) "Shamrock, respond!! Marcus, MARCUS!!!1" ...(Talisman gets it) "(stoic)Garuda 1 down."
SlyCooperFan1,
I don't think you should have sinned the cutscene where the dude says, "Back to the sea you go.
SlyCooperFan1 Sin count +1
Further more, Chandelier is NOT Stuck in place. It's a giant iceberg ship, you can see the path it took to turn around and face Gracemeria on the map. AND you can see the giant engine on the back!!!
SlyCooperFan1 Sin count +2
I believe the point of Shamrock flying into the tunnel was to get data for AWACS. AWACS didn't have any data on the backup cooling unit, so Shamrock flew down and got either a camera shot or radar data on the cooling unit.
Yeah. But Greece doesn't exists in their universe ;)
@@razrayk8470 True, but myths and legends can easily be adapted to suit another world.
36:55 did you expect that we _could_ destroy those *hypervelocity** shells?
*yes, electromagnetic railguns have muzzle velocity over 3-6 km/s
Ah, no. Those missle on the carousel below the gun
*yes, that a sin*
35:55 "can you hear me?"
"Trigger can you hear me?"
Wait.
Wait the joke's been made on the bloopers woops.
Also in Ragno Fortress, the tunnel operation and the Windhover operation are listed as start positions 2 and 3 respectively, but in the mission they are switched around and they are C and B
*GO DANCE WITH THE ANGELS intensifies*
at 16:26 They actually render the UAVs at the first mission but they don't show up on the HUD
man.... the writing in this game is just bad.
kingofmonsters14 it’s partly why I actually enjoy the series, it’s just over the top Hollywood style action that makes you feel like a badass fighter pilot out of top gun, realism isn’t a factor for me in this game
@@george_3264 yeah, but compared to the rest of the series like Unsung War or even Joint Assault, the writing in this game is just.... bad.
@@george_3264 Yeah, Zero is my favorite in the series for its humanity. It hits just the right balance between being sincere and not being whiny.
As much hate as AH gets, the writing in that was much better than this.
