Wow, really like the formatting of your review videos! The 1 min overview/thoughts before the full ones, the pros/cons list, the chapter additions. It's very informative. Thanks!
Glad you like this format! I used to do tau different videos for the sane game. Just the 2 min and the full review. I tested this idea and in a survey 90% liked the combined single video better, but recently I've had a few complainers in the comments about it.
@@TheGameBoyGeeks I like tightness but not restrictiveness. The good thing about tightness is I keep coming back to it hoping I can do one more thing and feel as though the skill ceiling is always higher than where I’m at. Two examples of this in my collection are Heaven & Ale and Tekhenu. But if a game is too restrictive in your options and doesn’t allow for any diversification of strategy, then that essentially negates the positives of tightness. Tightness says the sky is the limit but you’re weighted down by gravity and have to figure out how to improve. Restrictiveness says you can jump as high as you want but you’re limited to one jump and the limit is merely the ceiling. So I prefer tightness in sandboxy games, looseness in more linear ones.
Great review ! I have a question. One of the mechanism listed on BGG is “Variable Player Powers” but the game does not seem to have starting characters with different abilities….Would you know what reference is being made ? Would it be the character cards at the top ?
There are different artifact boards and I believe they are double sided so the right panel of each player's board will be different. Also different starting resources and of course, powers evolving as you upgrade throughout the game as well.

Talking about the tightness/restrictiveness of the game was super helpful information for me, thank you!
Is that something you like, or dislike. It seems I'm in the minority

I’m not sure maybe they mean the different actions you select each round
