The Hibino has ALWAYS had Tomoe River Paper. It’s stated on its website. Also interesting fact, it only says Tomoe River. Not “S”, so it could in fact still be using their supply of old TR.

It could be both a paper thing and an ink thing. The Uniball reminds me of Noodler's Black ink; there's a sort of oiliness or lubricant, I think. On the same paper of my Morning Pages journal (AHGXG Lined Journal Notebook), I have to use a blotter with both those inks, but Diamine Oxford Blue dries immediately. Can u fit the hibino and the hobinichi in the cover together?
What cover you use in this video for hobonici 5 year please? I need something similar. Thanks a lot
Sadly, the manufacturer terminated production of a bunch of paper types including Cosmo Air Light and won't be making anymore after March 2023.
As far as I know, the Hibino is the new Sanzen Tomoe River which is what the Hobonichi will be using starting in 2024.
Is it really?!? I think I got one of those samples from the hobonichi and I need to test it out and see… I think it will be a disappointment if this is true!
