A gem among the YT videos! The only item I found difficult to locate was the line used across the column. In my PBI desktop I had to click on the magnifying glass which is the third icon above the options and search for "line" then constant line appeared. Afterwards including the measurement I wanted as a conditional formatting did the trick. Thank you so much for this wonderful KPI tool that is far superior than the included gauge. I've used it to track a number of items as a percentage indicating health of a part of my program. The only trick I'd suggest to the other nascent data visualization fans is to use ChatGPT to write a dax formula Table = x Column = x I need a dynamic measure of that by (whatever you need say in the last 12 months etc) Thank you Gerard for a great video!
Hi there, thanks for sharing the video. 👍👍I noticed the floating window of 'Build a Visual' is really delicate. Can I find it in PowerBI desktop too or it's an extension? Thanks in advance for answering.
Hi Hakeem, yes, new intro. I used to do a little work on Fiverr, and got talking to someone who was able to put this together for me. Got a few more in storage to add on future videos. I think they used Adobe Premier
Great video thanks Gerard. Any reason why the reference line would not update when filter applied? I have a On Time % measure set as the Fx value for the Reference Line and for some reason does not update :( The measure in the card visual is working as expected
Great technique and a great space saver! Thanks for sharing Gerard.

It is available in the latest version of desktop. You may need to update, or download the latest version 👍
Gerard, is that a new intro I see 😍? That was nice. What tool are you using for that? Btw, great video as always man. #masterofdataviz

What formula did you use for the total percentage?
My PBI does not show the line format, only the ball format, triangle format, etc.
Thank you for this idea
this is awesome. I see that you've split this out equally at .2 = what if I wanted it not evenly distributed? Like Q1 30: Q2: 50% Q3 75% and Q4 100%
Yes, you would just have to adjust some of the numbers. The targets would be 0.3, 0.2, 0.25 and 0.25, which all add up to 1
Love it!
I don't have references line in format visual.
Is your power bi desktop version up to date? And are you using 100% stacked chart?
Its in the 'Analytics' pane with the section name 'Constant line'
@@udaniweerarathne88 really helpful, thank you!

If you look at my channel, there is a scorecard video. All the measures will be in that video. I think there is a link to the model also.
