Thank you for watching, and I'm sorry for your loss. It's touching that this video can give some small comfort to you in dealing with such a devastating loss......
Thank you! I made these mallets myself specifically for this excerpt. Plastic dowel handles. Aluminum ends, and rubber grips. Very light so that I can play with a fuller stroke. Thanks for watching!
It’s on the NAXOS label. Failoni Orchestra. My channel is not monetized, so all I get from YT is a copyright claim when it applies. Don’t think there’s one for this recording.
I think it comes from habit at auditions. Percussionists generally only play this as an audition piece. In practice, it’s usually played by the orchestra’s keyboard player. Thanks for watching!
@@saratei99 actually this excerpt (and the whole opera at large) is to be played by the celesta, not the glockenspiel. Its a very difficult exceprt tho and for that it remains in many orchestras audition repertoire.
Beautifully played and mixed with the background, thank you!
Thank you! and thanks for watching!
That sounds amazing and those bells look brand new!
Thank you! I keep really good care of my equipment. Glad you noticed!

Thank you sir, I was wondering where in the world that melody was from!
Hey i really like your playing. Can you please make a video on playing the xylophone part in Arabesque by Samuel Hazo?
Thanks! I’ll have to look into this part, I’m not familiar with it. I appreciate your view and positive feedback!
Bravo! 😊

Beautiful, this instrument is underrated. If you don't mind, what model is that particular Glockenspiel?
Thank you! This is an Adams professional glockenspiel. Range is F-D. Thanks for watching!

why do so many players want to stop the sustain at the end?

そんな事大した問題じゃない
Thanks! We usually play it in this octave because that is where our notes sound in the written register of the part.
@@MichaelLaMattinaPercussion oh older classical composers did not transpose glockenspiel parts right?
