@@MsMojo Stronger - Britney Spears

U.N.I.T.Y - Queen Latifah
Hero - Chad Kroger
Fighter - Christina Aguilera
Hero - Mariah Carey
Midnight Sky - Miley Cyrus
I love: Paint the town red from Doja Cat + Hall of Fame
"Walking on Sunshine" was my power anthem as a teenager. I used to always tell people I was named after the lead singer in "Katrina and the Waves", but it was merely a coincidence. 😊
No Christina Aguilera songs didn't make it on the list?! Not even honorable mention! Like she has a lot of self-anthem and empowerment songs! Stripped album alone has a lot of iconic songs to choose from
Exactly!
Amen!
Dancing Queen from ABBA is one of the best songs ever made ❤
Personally, I prefer mamma mia
Yes ❤️
What a fantastic list! I immediately thought of I Will Survive as soon as I saw the title of the video and I’m glad it was #1! But also thrilled to see Don’t Stop Me Now, RESPECT, So What!, Walking on Sunshine, Run the World (Girls) & Dancing Queen. Never would have thought of it for this list but I love the tune!! 😅 Whoops and Staying Alive! I adored that while growing up!
Staying alive is forever a cpr song to me
My sister was a Singer and Songwriter with a gorgeous voice. She could cover all these Songs listed.
She passed away of bone and breast cancer 2 years ago.
I always had a dream of Shania Twain singing her works. 😢❤God I miss her. But she smartly put them all on bandcamp. So me and Mum listen when lonely for her.
My Go-to when I need to feel like I can do anything is “We are the Champions” by Queen.
And DEFINITELY Madonna’s expression yourself. It has been my mantra when it comes to relationships and the advice in the song has never failed me.
Since U Been Gone - Kelly Clarkson.
Just like Jesse James - Cher
Flowers - Miley Cyrus
Fly - Nicki Minaj & Rihanna
Brave by Sara Bareilles, I'm Coming Out by Diana Ross and Freedom by George Michael all should be on this list.
"Let's go, girls!" That's my favourite part of the song, I love singing it into my hairbrush, or in the shower. 🚿🎶
hearing "hit me with your best shot" brings back memories of endlessly playing guitar hero. what a great time
Staying Alive from Bee Gees is a great way to start your day with a disco beat
What A Feeling (from Flashdance) 🤍
I would say "Survivor" (Destiny's Child) and "Dirrty" (Christina Aguilera) can also be included 🙂
Man I Feel Like A Woman! Classic girl power anthem!
I will survive, ever since my childhood. Happy thursday afternoon, Kirsten, take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well
Beautiful (Christina Aguilera)
The Climb (Miley Cyrus)
Almost any song off Christina Aguilera's Stripped album
When I listen to im still standing im thinking I’m still standing even after 6 cancers 💪🏼
Fighter from Xtina!!!! Agreed with previous comment, she has so many of them !!!
Unstoppable by sia was literally my anthem in middle/high school, and i still listen to it daily ! ❤️
Almost every Sia song empowering. Titanium , Elastic Heart , Alive , Bird Set Free , Cheap Thrills , Never Give Up , The Greatest , I'm Still Here , Floating Through, Flames and many more 🍙🔛🔝
Shake It Off is indeed a fun song, but talking about empowerment, The Man is more suitable.
“Fighter” by Christina Aguilera not ring a bell?
Instead of Lizzo making the list. We could have had eye of the tiger or loose yourself
Am just happy that espresso and Shake it off are getting the recognition ! 😁
Whatever it Takes takes - Imagine Dragons
Not gonna die - skillet
So What had me want to parade down the street without a partner tying me down. It could've been easily dismissed as a bratty and juvenile track, but Pink makes that work to her advantage with unapologetic fiery attitude
Ironically it's the song that got Pink and Carey back together. If that's not a silver lining I don't know what is.
I know this MAY BE a STRETCH but "B**CH, I'M MADONNA" EMPOWERS ME YO 🔥
Going Under by Evanescence is my go-to empowerment anthem because it recognizes the struggle while staying empowered going through it.
Also Unleashed by Epica, Stand my Ground by Within Temptation, Ever Dream by Nightwish, and We Are the Others by Delain
This Girt is on 🔥 Fire. Is a good one. That's not on this list.
One of the worst written songs of all time, TBH. 9 writers and none of them could come up with a word that rhymes with "fire"? The song uses the word "Fire" to end 15 lines in the song, and never once rhyme it. That is as lazy as it gets.
You forgot:
"Lose Yourself" by Eminem
"Just the Way You Are" by Bruno Mars
"Fighter" by Christina Aguilera
"Hate on Me" by Jill Scotts
"Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey
"Bad" / "Man in the Mirror" by Michael Jackson
"Control" by Janet Jackson
"Girl on Fire" by Alicia Keys
"Freedom" by George Michael
"Survivor" by Destiny's Child
"We Are Young" by Fun ft. Janelle Monáe
"We Are the Champions" by Queen
"Confident" by Demi Lovato
"Fly" by Rihanna ft Nicki Minaj
New Agenda by Janet Jackson, Stronger by Britney Spears, and Wannabe by the Spice Girls
I listen to most of theses songs especially like run the world by Beyonce or man i feel like a women i listen to that one ALOT when i am feeling down on myself and sometimes unstoppable but Mostly titanium, I actually do have thoses songs on my playlist ironic right.
Yes. Almost all Sia's song are empowering
@@NANYADAMBUZNIS yes that is true, cannot argue with you there, they’re so great and make you feel so empowered too.
Remember when Katy Perry used to make hits? 😩
Unstoppable by Sia as well as a version of unstoppable by the score. Those songs just coincidentally have the same name. But the meaning behind both are basically the same.
Katy Perry "firework"......Loverboy "Working for the Weekend"..... Chumbawamba "Tubthumping"
New Radicals "You Get What You Give"......Tears for Fears "Everybody wants to rule the world"
I kinda wanna get dumped by a man just so I can sing I will survive if he ever comes back.
Whitney Houston did a great cover of I’m Every Woman
I'm still Standing is one of my favourite songs!
Nelly Furtado's "Powerless" really helped me once when I literally froze during skiing lol
G-idle's songs about women empowerment include queencard and super lady. Other K-pop songs about empowerment include I love my body by Hwasa, Bubble by Stayc, and Me by CLC
Where is Black or White or Man In the Mirror by Micheal Jackson.
Love Express Yourself by Madonna, Roar, Born This Way and Run The World Girls.
Hi Kirsten have a great day and love your voice 😍
I discovered that my son had a "type", when the video for Roar came out. He was glued to the screen and obsessed with Katy Perry, after that. Gotta love those brunettes. 😆
Chinchilla’s “Little Girl Gone” is feminine rage at its best, and my current empowerment song. Don’t Stop Me Now was my empowerment song as a teenager. Can’t Hold Us by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Can’t Hold Us Down by Christina Aguilera.
You should totally do a Part 2! We are going to need these songs
Nice! Can you do that for Disney Channel Original Movies
("This is Me" from Camp Rock, "Breaking Free" from High School Musical, "Wildside" from Adventures in Babysitting, "On My Own" from Teen Beach 2, "The Climb" from The Hannah Montana Movie, most of the songs from Lemonade Mouth, etc)
U missed out these;
It's my life - bon Jovi
Keep on moving - 5ive
I feel good - James brown
Wild boys - Duran Duran
I'm free - rolling stones
Loaded - primal scream
FIREWORK BY KATY PERRY SHOULD BE ATLEAST IN THE TOP 5!!
Great songs.
Katy Perry
“Remember the Name” by Fort Minor is definitely qualified.
Isn’t “Dancing With Myself” about something else?
Tee hee a couple of these songs are giving sanitized meanings
Yes... Yes, it is.
I think “Baby, One More Time” by Britney Spears should be on this list. I know I feel empowered when I hear that song.
A Merkins song is all that will empower me now
Tubthumping by Chumbawamba
The IRONY that this video dropped 2 days after the election is NOT lost on me!
Don't forget about demi lovatos song sorry not sorry it make me feel very empowered like its lyrics I know it must hurt to see me like this but things get worst Demi took back the power from her bullies
We need these right now.
Scrolled WAY too damn far to find this!
People keep forgetting Centuries exists and powers me at least...
Mariah Carey's Butterfly, Celine Dion's A New Day Has Come, Whitney Houston & Mariah Carey's When You Believe.
WATCH MOJO, Are you kidding me?
so much fun diva and moments but destiny's child cheetah girls early miley pussycat dolls also have empowering diva songs badass diva attitude for any combined make a great fun day and boosts up any emotion
the sign by ace of base is a perfect example
Doin’ Time by Lana Del Rey. Lana Del Rey in that vid was large and in charge.
Another honorable mention : I'm coming out by Diana Ross.
I Will Survive HAD to be at least near #1, but I would have liked to have seen Carly Simon's Let The River Run which was featured in the movie Working Girl. It's the girls' equivalent to the boys' Bohemian Rhapsody where we turn up the car radio volume as high as it will go and sing along.
Just what we needed after Tuesday sunk all hopes at having a human being in the white house.
Dumb
I thought "the man" by Aloe Blacc or Break my stride wouldve atleast made honorable mentions
Britney Spears Stronger!
I sing that song, all the time.
All the songs are great but there might be one more song that's also empower and call Labour by Paris Paloma
Another Pat Benatar song INVINCIBLE, Barry Manilow's Daybreak, any WHITNEY HOUSTON song
Amen
Wilson Phillips Hold On
Aaliyah Try Again
Biggie Sky’s The Limit
Public Enemy Fight The Power
Journey Don’t Stop Beleiving
11:57 no. It's oatmeal day
I wish Pat Benatar feels empowered by "hit me with your best shot" as much as this list seems to think.
How take on me from Greatest showman didnt make this list I WILL never know
Wheres fight song?
I am missing Carly Simon - You're So Vain, Alanis Morissette - Thank U, Right Said Fred - I’m Too Sexy and Christina Aguilera - Beautiful
How did hair by little mix not even get an honorable mention 😭
Help! by the Beatles should be #1!
put your record on
I was going to be so upset if I Will Survive wasn't number 1. It's the ultimate power anthem. Would have included Flowers and not Dancing Queen.
❤❤❤
Am I hearing Ellie Goulding in the background??
What about Demi Lovato's song Confident?
Roar by Katy Perry >>
I Stand Alone.
you missed one. happy by pharrell williams
Saturday Night Fever was not the feel-good movie people who haven't seen it think it is. 😬 Tony wasn't all that cool. But he was a good dancer.
You literally put the blatant "Express Yourself" rip-off, "Born This Way" on here, but nothing by Christina Aguilera? Seriously?
No Alicia Keys? Underdog DEFINITELY belongs on this list, and is a stand-out for it's focus on humanity rather than a break-up. I'm usually in agreement with most of your Top # videos, but was painfully disappointed at this one. Katrina and the Waves? Not even a 'meh' on that one. :(
Express Yourself should be top5
Ugh turn off the stupid background music and play more of the real music
Whitney‘s version of Im every woman is much better than Chaka Khan
