Stunning place, my folks live in Portal and the backdrop is beautiful from their property.

Wonderful park, but be advised that the campground roads are very narrow and sites are small and and unsuitable for a towed trailer over about 20’. We had to forfeit a reservation simply because our 28’ could not be backed into the site, despite the online system rating the site for our size. And yes, I’m quite capable. The campground host said she deals with this often.
