This is the kind of build ive been looking for! Ran a skill based one for years but im looking for more of an aggressive style to hunt the rest of the hunters. Im flying home tonight so ill be trying this out. Thanks for posting!

I dont have any Umbra pieces right now. However, I do have a Dare and Coyotes mask both at expertise level 12. I've never seen anyone run a dare or gr9 on incursion. I'll farm some umbra pieces and give this a go - first in the open world then in incursion with a team. Thanks man!
@@Fatties09 If you feel like 200 rounds is still not enough to get 100 stack for No Reload and you miss your shots a lot( I know it's hard to release the trigger when using LMG :D ). You can try swap the 10% crit damage mod to 50 extra rounds from Gunner Specialization and make it a 250 rounds LMG :)
The GR9 is great and really shines on hard to kill enemies like legendary npcs with healing boxes out-that big mag plus its pretty good at head shots and the scope is good. Also good at clearing crowds and whacking rogues :). stacks well with strikers as welll.

This! Using Vigilance is not a good idea since you use this out of cover. Memento is by far the better choice. And Contractors is a no-brainer when using LMGs.
Umbral is soooo underrated. I used to use my striker chameleon build cuz chameleon is my baby, but i now use umbral instead. I use catharsis along with the umbral backpack and 2 blue cores, and i almost never have an issue with armor
@@Scruffy04 2 actually, I tend to run one on Heartbreaker and on striker as an alternative to a shotgun for building stacks. Gunner-Striker: Infantry MG5. Striker will get the fire rate high enough and then Heartbreaker-Technician with the Negev and the laser pointer.
To be more efficient with this build, our combat will be from 15m to 30m, the Coyote's Mask will give us +10 or +25% crit chance, so we must remove the two crit chance modifiers of the weapon and change them for crit dmg. There is a subculture that has grown up in this game thinking that you have to have 60% crit chance in every build and that is not true, you can do the test yourselves in your sessions to confirm that you will get the same damage with 43-46% crit chance in your builds as if you had 60%. It's a good build, in fact, if we only think about our dps (and ignore that if we boost each other in the group/raid we get much more dps) it's the most effective weapon damage build in PvE, but please, optimize the builds to be more efficient.
I'm not going to edit my previous answer because I want people to see the mistake I put, and that is that it is not good to answer something while talking to someone else about something else concerning the game and then you cross words. obviously you can't change all weapon modifiers to crit dmg, I meant to say, as long as possible, put crit dmg on it and on the rest, as long as possible, put an attribute that optimizes its use. What I mean is that, for example, you can put the stability grip and instead of putting that talent, you can take advantage of another that increases the dps as Flatline, In sync or Optimist but in this case, with this weapon, my choice would be Strainded or Fast Hands, but rest assured, Steady Handed is also a great option.
I use the GR9 on my striker build with strained and base of 60 chance and 156 crit, with strained it's 206 crit (just keeping the trigger pulled), best LMG in the game if you ask me, very stable
Using pieces of both the umbra and a piece of striker with ninja bike messenger bag to gain more fire rate loses a bit of crit damage but puts out more overall.

Does steady handed not give the ACS12 the accuracy bonus? I tried it the other day for a makeshift Showstopper build and noticed I was only getting the stability buff
Love me a good LMG build. Did you try it out with either Bullet King or Pestilence? EDIT: Heard your comment about Bullet King and stability/new player accessibility.
Yeah Bullet is the weapon comes to mind when No Reload is involved but that gun without Striker or Weapon Handling is a mess. Also, Pestilence is great but the damage mostly comes from Plague of the Outcast because Pestilence's base damage is very low compare to other low RPM LMGs. And by the time the damage spreads other DPS players in group will be clearing the room :D
This is mainly for Group. For Solo you can use St. Elmo's Engine or a Weapon with Preservation talent so your kills can start the regen which is very strong and use Bloodsucker talent on the backpack or use the Umbra Backpack. When you play solo having safety over damage is important.
I hope Division 3 is a thing and comes with crossplay i feel like i matchmake with the same 5 people and we are the only people playing in all of Australia...
I mean Crossplay is always a hated topic when comes to PVP but i think there should be an option to enable or disable Crossplay for contents. Like you can keep it off for PVP matchmake so you only get console players to play with but you can keep it on when Doing PVE activities. Destiny 2 does it I know and it's good :)
@@AnYTimeGaming Yeah I had 3500 hours by "April update" in Destiny 1 when it was absolute perfection after 3 and a half years of work only for them to do a bare bones vanilla launch of D2 and make the exact same mistakes... And not to be "that guy" but Destiny is a terrible example of a PvE PvP game because they constantly nerf/limit every single thing game wide purely because of pvp. Grinded for months in raids and prayed to RNJesus and finally got a raid exotic? Well too bad! Some Muppet went 20 - 0 in pvp with it so we reduced range, damage, ammo count and accuracy. PvP limits PvE even at the design and concept stage because "Balance" kills and OP fun for PvE (the actual game imo)

@@BREADHOODFOT It's a common mistake that can happen easily because it's a visual bug with the character or the gear set itself. But I can guarantee it's the watch or character. I know this because when I make a skill build with literally ZERO crits I'm supposed to only have 20% crit damage from the watch but instead I have 45% crit damage. So, that's the reason why the crit seems higher otherwise this build has about 146-158% crit damage which is still great and Umbra will make it 258%.

No problem it's great build with most of the guns in game. How about an Eagle Bearer where u can face tank the enemies a bit because of tenacity buff and pretty much take no Damage?

@@JubbatheHatt Backfire SMG itself gives 200% crit damage it's the best weapon to test the cap and yes damage increases beyond that. If something is capped in the stats it won't increase after that like Crit chance 60% and also Protection from Elites with caps at 80%.

Think before saying. Chameleon is SMG disguised as AR with terrible range. Also limited buff which lasts 45 secs and a room in Legendary takes about a min or 2 to clear depending on the team.

Go to countdown and get the umbra set and while you at it try get the GR9 with Steady handed :)

Good Choice. Frenzy on GR9 with Striker's build is INSAME !!! Nothing can resist to it ... :-)

Can go with frenzy on a 100 ammo lmg and the fire rate needs to be 900 RPM or more or you won't empty your entire magazine before the buff runs out.

Wouldn't it be better to run Petrov over Grupo, since you already have so much crit dmg? Or am I wrong?
I said that in the video that you can use Contractor's Gloves as an alternative but DMG is low :)

GR9 with Frenzy = Crazy bullet storm for 5 seconds after reload. +60% Rate of Fire and Damage on base 200 round magazine.

7:32 - 177 is your boosted number from the gear set, not your actual crit dmg

@@fredrickwilliams3605 All characters have 25% as a base Crit damage from default. That's why you see 45% instead just 20% from the watch :)

In terms of dps you cant' do better than a striker build. Almost same ,but not better.

nah chameleon is doing 2 mil on body and 2.5 mil in a group this build is ass

The only thing actually holding the Chameleon back is the mag size. Use Brazos and its 3 talents and get your Chameleon buffs in 2 reloads max.
