Lukashenko mentioned that 'everything is absolutely coordinated and run from the United States of America, with much of it financed by U.S. funds.' (Timestamp: 24:59). But if foreign influence is supposedly so strong and so organized, doesn't this raise a deeper question for the people of Belarus?
For 30 years, Belarus has prided itself on sovereignty and standing strong as an independent state-first in the USSR, then as its own nation. But if the West is truly as involved and effective as claimed, does this mean Belarus isn’t as secure and independent as its leadership portrays? Shouldn’t a truly sovereign government be strong enough to prevent external forces from stirring unrest, if NGO's are as coordinated as described?
And what about Russia? For years, President Lukashenko has emphasized Belarus as an equal partner to Moscow, not a junior ally. If the threats are coordinated abroad, why does it seem Belarus relies so heavily on Russia for its response? Could this reliance ultimately erode the sovereignty that Belarus says it defends?

Lukashenko was the only leader in the world to handle the Covi correctly. Belarusans just went about work as normal and when they got sick they went to bed for a few days. The overall health results of this were the same as for countries that shut their doors, eliminated their citizens rights and destroyed their economies. Belarus is blessed to have such a good leader.

It's a shame that Ukraine didn't realize that the west was never their friend and they only use them for cannon fodder in their war against Russia. Now Ukraine is destroyed, and what are they getting out of it? Nothing. I'm American and this doesn't help actual Americans either. If Trump can't make peace with reasonable leaders like Putin and Lucashenko he's not just damaging the world he is selling out the American people. Trump always talks about "Peace through strength" and that's what I hope the Oreshnik missle will be Russia and Belarus showing strength for peace. Lukashenko is clever for saying if Trump wants a Nobel Peace Prize they will support it because Trump does have a huge ego and it would devastate the foolish liberals in America if Trump got a Nobel Prize. What makes me angry is how America could have treated Russia these last few decades because we could have been great allies instead of enemies and it would have been a great benefit to the world and definitely Americans.
When Lukashenko and Putin have press conferences they answer questions from western journalists yet, America doesn't answer questions from Belarusian or Russian journalists. You can always count on the BBC to ask the most ridiculous and stupid questions. I cannot stand any Western journalist questioning the elections if any other country. The BBC accused Putin of sowing discord on the streets of Britain. I don't know how these journalists can look in the mirror after asking such questions. British leaders don't need any outside help to sow discord, they have done a fine job at doing that all on their own.
Who do these people think they are to question the legitimacy of the leaders of Belarus and Russia? I would vote for them.
I think any Peace plan has to give the Donbass region to Putin because those people wouldn't be safe if Russia were to abandon them. I think those people have been through enough. Putin didn't want to enter the Ukraine war. He tried very hard to avoid it but I believe he had to it. He did everything possible to avoid it. I know because I paid attention to Putin since 2007 when I caught his Munich speech by accident. It just happened to be on and it interested me. If you paid attention that long its easier not to believe all the anti-Russian propaganda.
I know it may be a small thing to most people but when they banned Russian figure skaters from international competition because of Ukraine, they went ahead and banned Belarusian skaters too. First, I can't stand the hypocrisy it takes to do this considering they never banned America for their wars but to also ban Belarus was even more ridiculous. I guess they use every avenue possible hoping to isolate Belarus and turn them against Russia. I would have told any country that it's better to get along with your neighbors than to count on America and I wish Ukraine would have understood this. American politicians have openly bragged about how they get to war with Russia without Americans dying. Ukrainians need to realize that America, the West doesn't care about them.
The US sure is good at psychological operations the way they can go into countries and actually sow discord. What the BBC accused Putin of doing is what US had been doing for many decades all over the world. You know they are trying it right now in Slovakia and Serbia. I hope Slovakians and Serbians to not fall prey to this.

why does every major decision seem to depend on the approval or cooperation of Moscow? From military strategy to economic support, even to defense systems like Oresnik, there’s always a mention of Russia being the provider.
If Belarus is truly standing on its own, shouldn't it be making decisions first and informing Russia after? Or at least having Belarusian-developed solutions rather than relying on Russian military and financial backing? A strong leader makes decisions for his people-so why does every strategic move seem to require alignment with Russia before it happens?
Maybe this is just the nature of the modern world, where even sovereign nations need powerful allies. Or maybe, despite all the talk of independence, Belarus has simply traded one master for another.

In regard to one of Steve's questions, a far greater percentage of Byelorussians think highly of Lukashenko than the percentage of British citizens that think highly of Starmer. Perhaps Steve is just jealous that Byelorussia has much better quality politicians than Britain, and that actually care about the living standards of its citizens.

In the case of 🇺🇸, Obama and Biden (12 years!)have worked very hard to change the demographics and voting districts.
Minnesota was too White, so they got 3.2 Somalis. WTF? 🇺🇸 people weren’t asked.
Upstate New York looks like Karachi in some places! And Michigan?
Trump said,”We have any enemy within.” And I hope he gets it out.
And brings our military back home so we can redefine our relationships around the world. It is long overdue.

Bravo Alexander Grigorevich 👏 The Reason Belarus is alive and prospering is because of Lukashenko . He wouldn't allow Oligarchy to steal state assets ! He kept and improved all industrial and agricultural industries that was left feom the Soviet days !! Because of him people in Belarus have jobs and able to feed their families. Mind you this is a small Republic with population of 10 million . Belarus exports their meat and poultry as well dairy to Russia and other former Soviet Republics . Belarusian food products are some of the best in the world ! Its not an exaggeration. Ask any Russian and they will tell you the same thing .

But… oh… how much cleaner it is compared to UK's streets and common areas. I thought England is the best in this regard but… it is not even in the top 10 as of today!
