I’ve seen videos where they show how they used to fold letters into their own envelopes. I really wonder that would survive the machines today. Has anyone tried?
Hello! What is the measurement of the envelope when it’s finished? I’m trying to see if I can tuck a 3x3 picture into it without folding it. 🙏 Great and easy tutorial by the way! :)
Hello! You might be able to tuck a 3x3 picture into the first, rectangular version of the envelope (video: 1:24) without folding it if you use the paper size indicated. I just checked on the envelope I have, and it is: 3.1 x 3.7. The second version, with a little triangular top part (video: 1:44) will not be big enough. It is possible to make the envelope bigger using a larger sheet of paper, but you would have to calculate the correct measurements which can be a work in itself. This envelope will not form if the measurements are incorrect. If you decide to do so, it would be a good idea to try first on a regular piece of paper you would not be sorry to throw away. I hope it helps.
