It’s way too late for this. We cannot continue to live with people that you don’t have the same culture, language and ideology with. Everyone needs to go their separate ways and make your own law. Sheria law is for the North, Muslim state is for the North. We cannot continue like this. No way!!

That is the most intelligent question to be asked but unfortunately, what we have had is a league of successive cowards at the helm of the country's affairs. Nigeria must not be one, it is not by force to be united and tied into one dysfunctional state.
You will be surprised how far Nigeria will go the moment the forced togetherness is renegotiated and those not willing to stay be allowed to go peacefully.

If house has become a home (that means the building the structure or the house has being completed and occupied- inhabitants moved in - when people moved in it becomes a home) for 23 years and the inhabitants are still talking about faulty foundations and various building engineers concurs, the best we can do is temporarily relocate inhabitants and build another house with a new and strong foundation. this needs to be quickly done before the faulty foundation collapse the whole house. I don't know about you but what do you think?

  • @akinkunmiakinpelu6263

There's an elite consensus in Nigeria that is against splitting the country up. A former northern state governor, Sule Lamido, recently re-echoed this consensus. Olisa Agbakoba must not be deceived by whatever kind of friendship he thinks he has with Tinubu. All that Tinubu has ever wanted is to become Nigeria's president. His dream has now been realised with the backing of such Northern oligarchs as Alhaji Sule Lamido. We can only pray that our children or more probably our grandchildren will grab the bull by its horns and fight for the break up of Nigeria into smaller federating units. I don't envy them because our compatriots in the north are likely to put up a fight against splitting Nigeria up.

This men and Nigeria issue. The people you are dealing with are not interested in your so called laws, or constitution. They are only interested in being rulers, especially your present president.
A man who looked into his purse and saw so much money he didn't know what to do with. And said to himself "am going to be president " Because he saw that here you get anything, just anything you want with money. Including the judiciary and your supreme courts.

And if he is, then shouldn’t we come together to implement it? These are the important questions and not why it wasn’t said 10 years ago

Agbakoba is not alone in this political escapade. Why these avalanche of questions all of a sudden ?. Why the sudden rage and the urgent need for a constitutional review.
We heard it on good authority that he was tapped for the position of attorney general and later dropped.
Is this a sour grape response?. Well if they want the country to be clearly divided let them be bold enough to say it. They should stop speaking with their chin and speak with their mouth.

The learned SAN made a mistake or probably forgot that Nigeria has written a constituion of the people by the people: the 1960/63 constituion that served us well but was destroyed due to greed. We dont have to reinvent the wheel. The 1963 constituion was discarded by the stroke of the pen by one man, it can be re-instated by the stroke of the pen by another man.
