nice video , what's the purpose of shift line tube preamp pedal ?? cause I saw another video about your pedalboard on how you use it for live situation in front of a clean amp , do you go ever ampless straight to PA on a live situation ?
Hi, thanks for reaching out. The Shift Line Twin MKIIIs is a guitar preamplifier + IR loader, so this simulates a mic'd up Fender Twin amplifier in compact form. By placing it in the middle of my pedalboard, I can run straight into the PA and it sounds like an amp miked up in a studio. I use it all the time for performances where there is no backline amplifier. Similar device to a Strymon Iridium, but superior IMO due to the tube warmth and easy control layout.
Hopefully this video is helpful for all you gear heads! If you have any tips of your own, drop a comment and share them with us here!! ✌
Nice job man! "Why stress over 20 bucks" is a line my brother and I have used for years too.
Good tips, esp the fee breakdown section
Joey, thanks dude! Yes exactly, I have declined many offers that were $20-to-low for me at the time and then regretted it later, ha! Glad you enjoyed.
