@@ogGILMOURRR its a pity that there are lots of cheaters on the game now and a lot are running away from the current cod that can now detect more cheat software so they have gone back to bocw that didnt have ricochet , a lot are in hctdm where they can go 40-50 kills and get 10 deaths so its not as obvious that they are cheating (in there minds) where as in core they would go 45-2 or something.
AND THE CYCLE STARTS AGAIN. It is what it is now. These guys are just doing it because of the views. So don't try to think that they're not here for a check, unless if they really actually care about COD.

I started playing Killing Floor 2 again cause I was getting tired of PvP shooting games. As much as CoD annoys the hell outta me, I do want it to succeed and be good again. I also want xdefiant to do, too. Imagine having 2 fps multiplayer games that are thriving and good

i really like xdefiant. but time will tell on this one truthfully. If people want an organic feeling shooter its there. A lot of people i hear say things about dudes that are jumping and trying to do use the movement all crazy like. But i gotta be honest here most of them can't shoot while doing movement. Others yeah they can you get those. But in that sense i feel it's not that bad. my experience with it has still been very smooth and fluid since ive stuck to most of what i know from closed beta my sens and the classes i use. It's just a thing most people want to transition to and be good at but in essence it just wont be. is xdefiant as polished as cod? hell no far from it but im enjoying xdefiant more than i have cod in the last 10 years. SO that says something to me personally

I'll check it out on game pass but I refuse to give activision a single penny of my money ever again. Plus I only really play cod for zombies these days but Sker Ritual also exists and is just better. Newest cod I've played is CW but XDefiant is my game for MP especially since I know most of the sweats will move onto BO6 when it's out. Haven't loved cod MP since BO2.

I dont understand how they bunny hop like that on xdefiant and I have a scuf and I see people spamming jump like 5 to 6 times in gunfight much faster than im able to jump. I only jump like twice at the most. I dont understand how their jumping like that without using bumper jumper or a keyboard, it happens so quick sometimes. Like when I jump twice some people has already jumped 6 times. I dont hate the game tho.

If there will always be this deadly/filthy SBMM/EOMM as high as that in MW3, I will no longer buy CoD (it's been 5 years since I bought a CoD and MW3 is my last acquisition). Why does Activision impose on us an unhealthy/infantilizing SBMM that is partly normal/casual??? Xdefiant does not have SBMM in normal/casual play and the developers are against it (kudos to them). I tried Ranked mode in multi, a few days ago (online ID on PS5: SPETSNAZ-Solidus, I am lvl 650 and general K/D of 3.72) and I can assure you one thing: there is NO f*@cking difference in terms of difficulty, "try hard" between a "normal" multi mode and a "ranked" multi mode. What is the "ranked" mode for then 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️??? At 29, I experienced CoD without SBMM/EOMM and the gaming world was MUCH better that way!
i believe that cold war was a test bed for all the crap we have now thats the game where they added stuff and turned it up to 11 . cold war showed lots of promise that it failed to live upto but as g says its the best cod in recent years despite the broken score streaks like the strafe run that you cant hide from and a friendly run will destroy your mines and sentry guns ffs and they added the strike maps , miami strike is fun but the full miami map was even better. and when they had the security issue that trey had to fix they went in and fixed it and removed the maps deprogramme and amerika and brought back armarda strike and another map , im sure by now they could look at the game and see that certain game modes are not being used and remove them and the maps and give us back tdm maps we paid for.

Then we have dmrs.. i have never seen s game make dmrs so bad. The base dmr needs 3 bullets to kill which takes forever to fire.. Weapon level is 100% too slow. I have several hours in and not even got a gun lvl 10. Cosmetics are boring Factions and their abilities are practically useless but the one who shows everybody through walls

I see what you’re saying but I don’t think it’s a true comparable. Fortnite is a battle royale and it took off just as that was getting really popular vs an arena shooter that’s been around since the day before forever and not much content. But as I keep mentioning. Fortnite was outdated and look how that did. Their fundamentals made them.big. If they can do that, then so can XDefiant. XDefiant can only get better and better.
I see what you’re saying but I don’t think it’s a true comparable.
Fortnite is a battle royale and it took off just as that was getting really popular vs an arena shooter that’s been around since the day before forever and not much content.
But as I keep mentioning. This game is worth giving it more time. Let them patch and update it and let some casuals trickle in to balance out some of these lobbies. We haven’t even hit it’s first weekend yet with the game.
