Happy Independence Day, but do we have reasons to celebrate Independence in this precarious state?

October 1st , Happy Independence Day Nigeria, Happy National Day China. But Where is the joy of celebration Nigeria looking at the precarious state of our country? China became PRC in 1949 and Nigeria got her Independence 1960. China is 74 years old today, Nigeria is 63 years old today . 11 years difference. But look at China today and look at Nigeria , (the Giant of Africa ) today. Instead of us to focus on moving forward and developing, we are driven towards religion, corruption and insecurity contrary to the concept and ideology of China , an example to emulate. Do we really have any reason or cause to celebrate our Independence besides just being alive to see another Independence Day?
