Blackpink are great, I just wish they had more songs. I think they have 28 songs as a group now, and also their solo work, which like I NEED MORE! I feel like they sometimes lose out because the kpop industry thrives on a constant stream of content and releases and some casual listeners might shift their interest to other groups.
I hope you keep checking out more groups and sounds, and if you let the viewers know what style or sound you favor they will flood your comments with suggestions. Kpop stans are an enthusiastic bunch and love to recommend. You might not like everything tbh, the genres in kpop vary so wildly that you will have some hits and some misses but if you give it a chance you'll find plenty of great music. Fair warning though there is a very small but vocal contingent of kpop stans (and trolls) in almost every fandom that will come for your throat if you don't like a song. But that tiny corner of the fandom is never happy.

the 4 members of Blackpink are multilingual since they speak 3 to 5 different languages, the group is so unique and different that it doesn't have a leader (something very rare in kpop because all groups have leaders) and they don't have a leader because all stand on different pillars.

Blackpink is great for catchy beats and impresseve visuals. But i don't look for lyrics in their songs because their lyrics is generic/ incoherent as fuck. Mostly are bragging which i don't connect to. And they don't write their music and that would have been ok if they were at least able to talk about their music. The interviews where they are asked about their music.
I used to enjoy their music just for fun times but then it became too old when 80% of their discography repeats the same formula
They have written some of their songs... the ones without braggy lyrics funny enough... such as Stay, Lovesick Girls and Yeah Yeah Yeah. I wish they were allowed to do more on that end.
Finally a comment that I can agree with! A completely typical manufactured and superficial group!
