I am so proud of you Mr. Pearson when I was a kid you came to Greater Bethany now City of Refuge in LA CA. Now as an adult I am where you are at spiritually. We are free now!
OMG! I was experiencing fear about this new experience....all because of what I was conditioned to feel in religion....now that I know that there's nothing to be afraid of....I can enjoy this next stage of evolution, enlightenment, and a higher consiousness.
I grew up in the Church with both parents ministers and preachers who predominately preached mostly from Revelation. Subsequently my relationship with God was that of fear. I also FEARED my parent's WRATH dare I question the scriptures to which I had found many inconsistencies since I was a child. We read the bible in the morning and at night and spent 4 to 5 days of the week in church and all the while I KNEW something was wrong. I was a child minister and was Born Again all because of the FEAR of damnation and Helll!!! I turned away from RELIGION at age 17 and delved into science and most importantly, History, and had many of the same personal revelations you speak off. I am thankful and grateful to be alive to hear your message of INCLUSION. There's so much more I can say but I'll stop here. Again, thank you!!!

Bless you, Bishop- I sincerely thank you for your serious bravery and your truth-telling. Sadly, a lot of what we have been traditionally taught, keeps us in fear and in bondage. People don't seem to understand that what we have learned in the Christian faith-on a basic level-has stunted our growth.
I am in Tears right now, for the longest time i have thought these exact same things wondered about the kind of fundamentalism Christianity that was born into, thought to fear God and not love him, i have studied and questioned my faith. for the longest time i felt alone in my questions. TO hear this man right now is bringing me to Tears, i don't even know what to say. Thank you Sir.
& part of the ritual of halloween 2day is, if u come upon a house with no lights on, u were told not to go to it. Lights had to be on & u knew that house would give treats.

Okay, that's quite interesting : Someone who sais 'Grace alone, Christ alone', but isn't a christian. The definition of christianity is that they have made Christ the only way, the god of ritual blood sacrifice, which had it's severe tail already in pre-christian days. It is the survival of the fittest. Cavemen with their unlearned minds were kind of overwhelmed by the cruel wilderness earth was, and they eased their minds with bloodsacrifices, because that's all they thought they could do, ->
This makes no sense. You are trying to justify walking away from the true word of God. You sound insane. You can take all these types of religions and roll into one and make your own. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
