Time-lapse of mist blowing across an estuary near Mud Bay on Vancouver Island. Taken with Sony 6400 and Voightlander 35mm lens, music by Kevin Macleod, Relaxing Piano Music
Yes, this is one of the great pleasures of time-lapse photography, the revealed movement of atmosphere. I agree, watching mist on water is one of the great pleasures I know, evoking and maintaining a state of calm. Dropping a fly on such water is an added pleasure. ;-)
We all know that mist is constantly moving around us on a cold morning, not very often do we have the time or the patience to pay attention to how it dances. Nice video :)
Thank you Katree, It is one of my goals this year to collect some great mist timelapses. I always feel a lovely anticipation waiting for them to process and "reveal" the dance, as you so nicely put it. :-)
Nice footage Richard. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching and commenting Peter!!
I think this is my favourite of your time-lapse videos. I love watching mist appear and disappear on lakes and rivers when I’m out fly fishing.
