What's up, Frogman Legionnaire. U.S. Paratrooper here, 82nd Airborne Division, born and raised in San Diego. After my CO was shot in the head I started getting article 15s; Assaulting an NCO, missing formation, smoking weed. It's a miracle I kept my job, my TS/SCI clearance, and honorable discharge. But it was the return to civilian life that really did me in. Jailed 6 times in three States, alcohol, losing excellent jobs one after another.
Long story short, I appreciate and understand your videos and your message. Thank you.

I'll be the contrarian. There's a real danger that people will think suffering is SUFFICIENT for salvation. They might think, "Well I'm suffering, this really hurts, so this is where I'm going to turn it around!" Nonsense. Suffering and salvation are only weakly related, at best. I think clear understanding, clear thinking, is much more important.

Motivation of the day!
Seen a lot of mental turmoil from men. 2 military buddies went to jail, (Anger issues). I am Vietnam Era. Then drugs from others. Those were into the Easy way out. Then the sleeper drug Alcohol. Then the laziness drug, mary jane. We have to find that ONE THING, that does it for us. And to do that we have to figure ourselves out and it takes true Clarity of mind to do that. What is our pain? What elicits it in ourselves? I was skinny, sickly, 1 push-up in 8th grade, peuney, had trouble reading, adopted,etc. If it were not for my parents pumping me up and teaching me to persevere my life would have sucked. I join the Marines, never a strong guy, but made my attributes work. Went to college, became a Dentist, now retired. If I can do it. Anybody can. I learned to persevere and NEVER let anyone down. I knew I was a good person inside. Once you know that the rest is icing. Thank you for your inspiration.

In my second month with TCav. Physical results have been awesome- and sustainable. And the mental part as well. Dealt with family issues last week and the mind shift has made a huge difference.
I'm in month two as well brother. Like you my physical results have been awesome. More importantly, my new sense of purpose has got me off the 'bad shit'. I'm not naive, it's 'one day at a time'.
