In addition to leaving a clean cut lawn I've also found that weekly mowing alone will choke out a ton of weeds. Each year the grass will grow healthier and thicker even without being treated.
@@mithgo_outdoor Yes sir indeed. I will say this Mitchell, I have two lawns, an acre each. Mine and my widowed Aunt Both a weed field cut down. I used a fertilizer (Year One Only) from Lowes during rain season so didn't have to water. One treatment... Just can't afford it. Today a few years later from weekly mowing - cutting 3 to 5 inches -according to heat- keeping it high, the Bermuda is doing excellent. Weeds? ...Sure. But not many. My Aunt says she wants it cut lower in spite of how great it looks. I can't get her to understand how the importance of proper height creates a canopy shading out weed growth. I still have the weeds but fewer every year. I double cut most every time.
Best way I have found to do it is mow it at a low setting such as 3” and then mowing over 3.5” the second time. Just taking the top off on the second pass.
My property was a previous overgrown hay field, got it looking good after 2 years of mowing it constantly. It grows real fast and I cut it every 6 days at 3.75"to 4" and by the time I mow it again it has grown almost 4". So I am always double cutting at two different heights.

Great point...but definitely not the case for this property! lol It's a weed farm without the munchies

Glad you enjoyed
When I double cut should I mow like 3.5 first time then 3.25 diagonally the second??
I always mow lower first then higher to disperse clippings
Great video bro
