I live in Johannesburg, South Africa. I have family in different parts of South Africa and there are very few people sick that we know of. I only know of one family who all tested positive. It was an extremely mild flu, only lasting 24 hours. They are not vaccinated. They were all better in one day. Something that has being pointed by our professionals here is that discovery is different to origin. Just because it was discovered in South Africa does not mean it 'originated' here. If this variant has more mild symptoms than delta and becomes the dominant variant, then that would be great as it would mean corona would become more of an annoyance like the flu and not stress the health system as much.
It depends on how much milder. The virus still messes with the ACE2 receptor since that's how it gets into the cell, with a high viral load it could still create problems to a lot of people, particularly those already suffering from hypertension or other circulatory diseases. That means that, even in a milder presentation, it could still overwhelm healthcare by virtue of its increased transmissibility.

You’re absolutely correct, however that outcome could only exist In a world without politicians, and their MSM propaganda outlets. There’s a descriptive point that must be made here. One physician is an ICU physician and one is a family practice physician. It’s just common sense that an ICU physician is going to see more severe cases as a severe case is not going to go to a family practice physician but is going to seek treatment at a hospital. Thus, family practice is only going to see less severe cases..
Not only. General Practictioners etc. will probably see a mix of mild and moderate with some severe cases. ICU or other specialists will probably see mostly severe cases, with some mild & moderate in the ICU or specialist care for other issues. Of course not all specialities will see the usual volume of patients or will tend to see patients equally affected by a given disease or outbreak.

I was not clear whether the cases the hospital doctor was seeing - more severe cases in younger people, mostly unvaccinated - were all Omicron variant or not. Dr John just said "covid" cases.

One thing we may need to ask at some point is whether people who work out with weights... who have a a lot of vascularization... are at greater risk of problems like this man experienced because they have more blood vessels, including vessels that are hidden under the skin. If so they should be warned of the dangers. It's absolutely essential that in that situation there be aspiration before vaccination. It's outrageous that even Dr. Campbell couldn't find a nurse who knew how to aspirate, for his booster!
I'm a bodybuilder using steroids for 20 yrs. have always asperated, they say if you inject juice into a view it will feel like a heart attack. I have never hit a vein, that doesn't mean I will stop asperating. There was no aspirating when I got the jab, very very slim chance to hit a vain in the deltoids but you have the right to ask for asperating.

I had covid in March and the symptoms I had were extreme fatigue and a headache I couldn't get rid of, so these mild symptoms aren't new. Apparently I had the Kent variant. I've had worse colds and worse hangovers.
My family got covid 2 weeks ago and ore symptoms were headache, fatigue, body aches, and I lost my taste and smell. Recovered within 2 weeks. We take 10,000 iu of vitamin d daily since this all started because of this channel.
I had the same symptoms in Jan 2020. I was already taking 10,000 iu D3, 200µg K2. 300mg Magnesium, 30mg zinc. At no time did I have significant breathing problems.
I would really like to know the vaccination status of the 61 passengers that tested positive. I'm assuming they were all fully vaccinated as the weren't tested before getting on the plane, which brings up a whole other point.

This is exactly the common sense I am battling with against our Hospital mandates. I have proof of NI from antibodies. People should be able to produce a Lab result of Antibodies in lieu of a vaccine card. We are not following the data and science.
There's actually a 4th category as well. Inherent immunity which is those who protected from Covid 19 infection due to antibodies developed from battling other coronaviruses.
The reason that most of the mutations are on the spike protein is quite likely because this is the sole target of the vaccines. The vaccines are a major selection pressure for the evolution of the virus; therefore, it's not the unvaccinated who are to blame for new mutants. Unfortunately, it's the vaccinated who are most likely generating new mutations. Could also be recovered patients, but since most people produce antibodies and B/T cell responses to other viral proteins, this seems less likely. This is consistent with previous (veterinary) experience with coronavirus vaccines. It would seem that the greatest need now is for a booster vax which targets other viral proteins.

I would like to comment on your gratitude to the scientists and their transparency etc. That's wonderful to hear. I must, however, draw your attention to the fact that this transparency etc does not extend to the government generally. I wish it did. The government has been very, very slow initially regarding vaccinations, it has done little to educate the population and there is a reluctance among many to be vaccinated. Those are just some of the reasons only 24 percent of the population has been vaccinated. I could go on and on, mentioning fraud in many of the echelons of parliament, the lack of sufficient medical staff, the high rate of poverty due to lack of job opportunities, the lack of chronic medication reaching those who need it during the pandemic, the exhaustion and depression among medical staff and so on. The state president is supposed to be addressing the nation tonight, presumably regarding omicron. The country has suffered badly during the past nearly two years, firstly due to coming to terms with the pandemic and, secondly, the economic fall-out. The latter is, frankly, doing more harm than the virus and its variants. I've only heard of mild headaches , but it's from breakthrough cases. 34% immunized here so far with first jab. No lockdowns, no curfews, and no mandates except for the normal precautions. Be careful my friend. Like good science calls for, never see one source as the 'truth' but rather take a healthy skeptical/questioning approach. This man often puports to be sharing 'facts' when he is actually sharing his 'opinion'. He has a history of claiming to be reporting the results of studies when IN FACT he fails to mention the caveats and limitations acknowledged by the authors of those studies themselves.

Bearing in mind the evolution of Virurses........ *IF, a super mild, but super infectious, variant occurs* ....... might the clever thing to do be,..... to let it run riot & outstrip the other worse variants???? I think that the people taking solace from the much quoted 'viruses get weaker' need to consider the mechanism through which a really dangerous virus achieves this.... it kills all the people who are most vulnerable to it, leaving just those who have better natural immunity. Check out what happened when Europeans brought the common cold, measles, and smallpox to southern America and Australasia. A completely new pathogen can cut a horrendous swathe through a population before 'becoming' less dangerous. Seriously. The whole world's population is potentially vulnerable to a new disease. That situation persists until everyone has been immunised, survived infection or died.
I agree with the professor. IF you know both the infention rate AND more importantly how dangerous a variant is, there might be an argument, for running the course, but there are big holes in that opinion. 1) We have absolutely no real idea of either. 2) Let's assume that this variant is both more infectious AND can bypass the vaccines and natural immunity, as appears to be the case. That means a country that may be at 70% + vaccination today could suddenly be back to the equivalent of say 10% (assuming some lucky individuals remain resistant) So, a highly transmissible variant, low protection and now a population probably against precautions. Does that sound like a good idea? Let's say this variant kills 50% compared to previous variants. Now consider it may be 3 times as transmissible (infectious) It would kill more people....... IF vaccines were effective. Now remove that protection (it's resistant) Suddenly we're back to full on epidemic and overloaded medical facilities.
There is no other sane way to deal with it. You can have all these different levels of antibodies in healthy people. They knew this was going to sin the virus into all kinds of mutations, I repeat they knew. Virologists and infectious disease specialist's called this out immediately, as soon as they produced this drug cocktail. They - Govt. and Pharma have done this, intentionally. Dr. Campbell: I walked out of my booster appointment at a well-known pharmacy chain in the US because the pharmacist told me there was no need to aspirate because there is no blood supply in the muscles. That was enough of a red flag for me and I walked out. My husband is also a doctor and he agrees with you about aspiration. I did want to tell you that all hospital-run vaccination pods that we have gone to WILL absolutely aspirate. The nurses that told me “of course. This is how it is done.” So there appears to be a difference in administration depending on where you get it. My husband and children had all aspirated vaccinations and I myself made an appointment at a hospital vaccination pod and received my aspirated booster shot!! I've been a nurse for 22 years. We were taught to aspirate with IM injections. The new nurses coming out of school are being taught not to aspirate as a Standard of Care. I will continue to aspirate...

Great video. Given how coronaviruses, and upper respiratory diseases evolve in general, I think we're seeing this virus transition to what likely will be a cold next year. Viruses don't want to kill their host, remember.
A virus f it is acting towards a vaccine will mutate to whatever to survive. A virus will not usually kill a virus but forced mutations will cause it to kill a host. That's why it should have been originally left alone and this would be over and the mutations would have been minimal.

Dr Coetzee actually said about half of her patients with Omicron were UNvaccinated and had mild symptoms and recovered well, just as did the vaccinated. So that is very good news.
The way the media reported it was that “almost half of the cases were unvaccinated” - which is a sneaky way of blaming unvaccinated people by framing the negative view towards them. The same statement is another way of saying “more than half of the cases WERE vaccinated”.
Statements indicating the virus only mutates in unvaccinated seem illogical given that the vaccines are “leaky”. Viral loads in nasal passages have been found to be equal in vaccinated and unvaccinated for delta variant. Since vaccinated can still get and spread the virus, wouldn’t the virus still be able to mutate. Logic seems to indicate vaccination does NOT stop mutations. Please do a video to clarify the science on mutations among vaccinated population.

Agreed, I can see no logic in assuming mutations are occurring in the unvaccinated. The fact that 32 of the 42 mutations relate to the spike protein (the basis of vaccine induced "immunity"), it seems more likely to me that these mutation have actually been caused by the vaccinate/vaccinated, as the virus evolves in evade the antibodies generated by the previous spike protein

Well. I think I had it and to be honest I'm also tired af all the time for the last.....38 years of my life. Meaning all my life. I'm not the one to go along with the idiotic hysteria and never wear a mask etc. It's all bs to bring in totalitarianism and all that... But. I've NEVER been so tired in my entire life as I was last week. I woke up in the morning only to sleep again. Woke up, showered, ate a bit... and then went to bed again. Few hours later woke up again etc etc. That lasted for 3 days. Yesterday I was up and about. Throat is still aching and have a bit of sniffles but I feel okay now. Just never been so fking exhausted before!! And I've been depressed at least half of my life. However I finally got some decent sleep cause I've been stressing for at least a year. Working like crazy and I deserved some rest. I guess it was a good outcome in the end. P.s wasn't diagnosed cause i refuse to get tested!! Cause fkk em! I had all the symptoms though. And I detox twice a year usually and it wasn't like that this time. It WAS different! I know my body.
Because of the Soweto experience, you conclude that the data suggests more vaccination is required, then you say later if you are fully vaccinated you can still get omicron. But you dont have enough data to assume vaccination is the answer, unless we need a new vaccine. Second point, what is the economic status of those coming into Baragwanath Soweto? In that area they might be mostly poor lacking nutrition. There are many assumptions being made. How many people die of hunger every year compared with covid?

Does SOUTH Africa have accessibility to this drug? Personally l have not had Covid or the vax. If l did l would isolate in my home and take care of myself. First of all, I want to thank all the good information that you provide, I do like the way you present data, no bias. I'm portuguese and as far as my family concerns, in 6 injections of the vaccine among 3 of us, all of them were aspirated. I payed attention because of what you have been talking about. I don't know if we were just lucky, but I think this is the common way of giving injections here. My 81 year old dad was a nurse and I asked him how he gave injections and he described exactly the aspiration as you explained so well.

I'm in NZ, I have family who are medically qualified, and I find that the authorities here do an excellent job of communicating. Media can be held to account by Mediawatch and the like [ complaints are welcomed] if they get it wrong,. The problem is simply put, with so many medical experts in agreement, it's easy to start thinking that they must have a hidden agenda. True though, it's no surprise to find that a mutation which produces milder symptoms can spread itself more easily. Still causes real problems for the hospital system, look at what the ordinary flu does in a bad year.

@@simonfernandes6809 what I worry about is a study on blood that clearly showed a person vaccinated had reduced T cell response after the vaccine wore off leaving people very susceptible to other infections and viruses. This was a real world case of a person pre and post vaccine it was very very concerning. If that is true across others then the hospitals will fill up with cases non covid related over the next few years. Time will tell and the mortality rate will tell us.
Excluding the market crashes that will follow due to the new variant as well as the increasing inflation, I'm a quite a bit worried about the headache and extreme fatigue. Fatigue, let alone severe one, is usually a symptom of a chronic or systemic health problem. And headache as a primary symptom could be related to the mutations in the virus. If it can penetrate more easily the BBB and impair it's function than previous strains while being a milder illness, this could mean the damage has migrated from the lungs to the overall vascular system. It would be even more worrying about vaccinated people with waning immunity. If the DNA repair impairment studies turn out to be true in-vivo, this variant could very well be another hard hit to the health of those already suffering. I believe one thing is clear, these vaccines are not safe because the SPIKE is not safe. With potentially progressively faster-waning efficacy with each booster shot and potential infections with novel variants that bypass this immunity and could equally (or more severely) damage the immune system and vascular system of the patient -- this is a massive healthcare crisis with a delayed onset. I will be fully honest, with all my respect to the vaccines and the intent behind them by those who made them, their employers have a track record of being found guilty and forced to pay fines for failure to comply with laws or regulations. The synergy between them, /social/media, "fact checkers" and governments is blindingly clear to most by now. Many have been censored, deplatformed and "fact-checked" for providing actual factual information and encouraging public discourse on the matter. I believe that without a doubt the vaccine producers and those who approve them should be held accountable and independently investigated for potential misconduct. Furthermore, I believe any medical practitioner who has given a Hippocratic Oath should demand complete transparency. When such is rejected or given an unreasonable amount of time (like for example 55 years for the first vaccine, excluding all other data they will obtain during those years), then those practitioners should assume the worst in order to protect the health of their patients. Until there is more transparency, the vax should only be recommended for the ones under biggest threat of a severe covid illness or otherwise, on the long run, it may cause more harm than good to their patients. The only things that make me scratch my head is how the f - ing hell did we get to this point as a society. How and when, if at all, we are going to get out of this situation. What will be the ultimate cost? What happens when trust in science, media and governments is gone?
Synergy can be so due to the fact that people agree because of data. You need to demonstrate a systematic unjustified bias beyond normal disagreement in interpreting results. There is a public health policy going on. Would the synergy be any different than in cases of cigarettes and alcohol?
It is not rational to always assume the worst about an active intervention if the alternative is a visible risk of hospitalisation or death from the disease. It should be the balance of risks and benefits, as in all medical decisions. I am sympathetic to your calls for transparency (thats of course important) but doctors are not going to throw out an effective intervention until they see solid evidence of side effects.

Also, that synergy you asked about was at some point in history very much present. Alcohol, cigarettes even morphine ware promoted heavily because of ad money without long term studies. I'm in the US. My husband and sons have Covid currently. It is mostly a severe headache, bodyache, and fatigue. One son is completely over it. I had it last year and appear to be immune. Thier symptoms appear to match what the first doctor said. We live close to a college with a large number of exchange students.
I had it in October with same symptoms you mentioned. I recommend electrolyte drinks (Pedialyte or Gatorade) I found my symptoms seemed to be related to loss of electrolytes.

Hi John, I had my second Pfizer vaccine about a week or so ago. I asked the nurse about aspirating the shot and she said that it was "pretty old school", but she was happy to do so and we had a nice talk about it. She said aspiration was a really good idea and it was very easy to do. She said that the needle had to pass through blood vessels all the time to get the needle into the muscle. I was really happy that she was so positive about it. 10/10!
I was lucky today: I went for my booster in UK and the vaccinator was someone I knew vaguely. I asked if she would aspirate and she said she would as it was me: only 1 other person had asked, and the people in charge had said it was "completely unnecessary"! Thank goodness I got her for my vaccination or it clearly would not have been done!

In the rare event that the needle happened to have been put into in a vein, blood will be seen in the barrel and a fresh needle/syringe should be obtained. The vaccines should be injected into the deltoid muscle and not into the bloodstream.

I had done my research so we had supplements and were also able to get India Pharm human Ivermectin at the feed store and also had Hydroxycloroquine because of husbands Lupus. So fast spreading but weak Delta killed many more people than slower but deadlier Beta and Gamma. Omicron is fast displacing Delta where it has put down roots.

I live in Johannesburg, South Africa. I have family in different parts of South Africa and there are very few people sick that we know of. I only know of one family who all tested positive. It was an extremely mild flu, only lasting 24 hours. They are not vaccinated. They were all better in one day. Something that has being pointed by our professionals here is that discovery is different to origin. Just because it was discovered in South Africa does not mean it 'originated' here. If this variant has more mild symptoms than delta and becomes the dominant variant, then that would be great as it would mean corona would become more of an annoyance like the flu and not stress the health system as much.
It depends on how much milder. The virus still messes with the ACE2 receptor since that's how it gets into the cell, with a high viral load it could still create problems to a lot of people, particularly those already suffering from hypertension or other circulatory diseases. That means that, even in a milder presentation, it could still overwhelm healthcare by virtue of its increased transmissibility.

There’s a descriptive point that must be made here. One physician is an ICU physician and one is a family practice physician. It’s just common sense that an ICU physician is going to see more severe cases as a severe case is not going to go to a family practice physician but is going to seek treatment at a hospital. Thus, family practice is only going to see less severe cases..
Not only. General Practictioners etc. will probably see a mix of mild and moderate with some severe cases.
ICU or other specialists will probably see mostly severe cases, with some mild & moderate in the ICU or specialist care for other issues.
Of course not all specialities will see the usual volume of patients or will tend to see patients equally affected by a given disease or outbreak.

Adults should take 10,000iu of vitamin D3 with 200mcg of K2mk7 daily - if you want to be sure test blood levels until you reach, at or above 50ng/mL of 1,25-dihydroxy-vitamin D3, as this reduces severe illness and the death rate from SARS2 to near zero. And btw from my experience you wont get Colds or Flu either.

My family got covid 2 weeks ago and ore symptoms were headache, fatigue, body aches, and I lost my taste and smell. Recovered within 2 weeks. We take 10,000 iu of vitamin d daily since this all started because of this channel.
I had the same symptoms in Jan 2020. I was already taking 10,000 iu D3, 200µg K2. 300mg Magnesium, 30mg zinc. At no time did I have significant breathing problems.

There's actually a 4th category as well. Inherent immunity which is those who protected from Covid 19 infection due to antibodies developed from battling other coronaviruses.
The reason that most of the mutations are on the spike protein is quite likely because this is the sole target of the vaccines. The vaccines are a major selection pressure for the evolution of the virus; therefore, it's not the unvaccinated who are to blame for new mutants. Unfortunately, it's the vaccinated who are most likely generating new mutations. Could also be recovered patients, but since most people produce antibodies and B/T cell responses to other viral proteins, this seems less likely. This is consistent with previous (veterinary) experience with coronavirus vaccines. It would seem that the greatest need now is for a booster vax which targets other viral proteins.
Mutations occur inside the body. So yes, unvaccinated people have more viral load, therefore generate more mutations.

Dr Campbell, good afternoon to you. I am writing to you from South Africa, specifically from the Western Province. I would like to comment on your gratitude to the scientists and their transparency etc. That's wonderful to hear. I must, however, draw your attention to the fact that this transparency etc does not extend to the government generally. I wish it did. The government has been very, very slow initially regarding vaccinations, it has done little to educate the population and there is a reluctance among many to be vaccinated. Those are just some of the reasons only 24 percent of the population has been vaccinated. I could go on and on, mentioning fraud in many of the echelons of parliament, the lack of sufficient medical staff, the high rate of poverty due to lack of job opportunities, the lack of chronic medication reaching those who need it during the pandemic, the exhaustion and depression among medical staff and so on. The state president is supposed to be addressing the nation tonight, presumably regarding omicron. The country has suffered badly during the past nearly two years, firstly due to coming to terms with the pandemic and, secondly, the economic fall-out. The latter is, frankly, doing more harm than the virus and its variants. I thought you might just find this interesting, as, like India, the poor in South Africa are directly in the line of fire, as it were. I wish you well and thank you for your most educational posts.

Check out what happened when Europeans brought the common cold, measles, and smallpox to southern America and Australasia. IF you know both the infention rate AND more importantly how dangerous a variant is, there might be an argument, for running the course, but there are big holes in that opinion.
1) We have absolutely no real idea of either.
2) Let's assume that this variant is both more infectious AND can bypass the vaccines and natural immunity, as appears to be the case.
That means a country that may be at 70% + vaccination today could suddenly be back to the equivalent of say 10% (assuming some lucky individuals remain resistant)
So, a highly transmissible variant, low protection and now a population probably against precautions.
Does that sound like a good idea?
Let's say this variant kills 50% compared to previous variants.
Now consider it may be 3 times as transmissible (infectious)
It would kill more people....... IF vaccines were effective.
Now remove that protection (it's resistant)
Suddenly we're back to full on epidemic and overloaded medical facilities.
There is no other sane way to deal with it. You can have all these different levels of antibodies in healthy people. They knew this was going to sin the virus into all kinds of mutations, I repeat they knew. Virologists and infectious disease specialist's called this out immediately, as soon as they produced this drug cocktail. They - Govt. and Pharma have done this, intentionally. That was enough of a red flag for me and I walked out. My husband is also a doctor and he agrees with you about aspiration. The way the media reported it was that “almost half of the cases were unvaccinated” - which is a sneaky way of blaming unvaccinated people by framing the negative view towards them. The same statement is another way of saying “more than half of the cases WERE vaccinated”.
Statements indicating the virus only mutates in unvaccinated seem illogical given that the vaccines are “leaky”. Viral loads in nasal passages have been found to be equal in vaccinated and unvaccinated for delta variant. Since vaccinated can still get and spread the virus, wouldn’t the virus still be able to mutate. Logic seems to indicate vaccination does NOT stop mutations. Please do a video to clarify the science on mutations among vaccinated population.

Agreed, I can see no logic in assuming mutations are occurring in the unvaccinated. The fact that 32 of the 42 mutations relate to the spike protein (the basis of vaccine induced "immunity"), it seems more likely to me that these mutation have actually been caused by the vaccinate/vaccinated, as the virus evolves in evade the antibodies generated by the previous spike protein

I think I had it and to be honest I'm also tired af all the time for the last.....38 years of my life. Meaning all my life.

But. I've NEVER been so tired in my entire life as I was last week. I woke up in the morning only to sleep again. Woke up, showered, ate a bit... and then went to bed again. Few hours later woke up again etc etc. That lasted for 3 days. Yesterday I was up and about. Throat is still aching and have a bit of sniffles but I feel okay now.
Just never been so fking exhausted before!!
And I've been depressed at least half of my life.

I'm portuguese and as far as my family concerns, in 6 injections of the vaccine among 3 of us, all of them were aspirated. I payed attention because of what you have been talking about. I don't know if we were just lucky, but I think this is the common way of giving injections here. My 81 year old dad was a nurse and I asked him how he gave injections and he described exactly the aspiration as you explained so well.

I'm in NZ, I have family who are medically qualified, and I find that the authorities here do an excellent job of communicating. Media can be held to account by Mediawatch and the like [ complaints are welcomed] if they get it wrong,. The problem is simply put, with so many medical experts in agreement, it's easy to start thinking that they must have a hidden agenda. True though, it's no surprise to find that a mutation which produces milder symptoms can spread itself more easily. Still causes real problems for the hospital system, look at what the ordinary flu does in a bad year.

@@simonfernandes6809 what I worry about is a study on blood that clearly showed a person vaccinated had reduced T cell response after the vaccine wore off leaving people very susceptible to other infections and viruses. This was a real world case of a person pre and post vaccine it was very very concerning. If that is true across others then the hospitals will fill up with cases non covid related over the next few years. Time will tell and the mortality rate will tell us.
Excluding the market crashes that will follow due to the new variant as well as the increasing inflation, I'm a quite a bit worried about the headache and extreme fatigue. Fatigue, let alone severe one, is usually a symptom of a chronic or systemic health problem. And headache as a primary symptom could be related to the mutations in the virus. If it can penetrate more easily the BBB and impair it's function than previous strains while being a milder illness, this could mean the damage has migrated from the lungs to the overall vascular system. It would be even more worrying about vaccinated people with waning immunity. If the DNA repair impairment studies turn out to be true in-vivo, this variant could very well be another hard hit to the health of those already suffering.
I believe one thing is clear, these vaccines are not safe because the SPIKE is not safe. With potentially progressively faster-waning efficacy with each booster shot and potential infections with novel variants that bypass this immunity and could equally (or more severely) damage the immune system and vascular system of the patient -- this is a massive healthcare crisis with a delayed onset.
I will be fully honest, with all my respect to the vaccines and the intent behind them by those who made them, their employers have a track record of being found guilty and forced to pay fines for failure to comply with laws or regulations. The synergy between them, /social/media, "fact checkers" and governments is blindingly clear to most by now. Many have been censored, deplatformed and "fact-checked" for providing actual factual information and encouraging public discourse on the matter.
I believe that without a doubt the vaccine producers and those who approve them should be held accountable and independently investigated for potential misconduct. Furthermore, I believe any medical practitioner who has given a Hippocratic Oath should demand complete transparency. When such is rejected or given an unreasonable amount of time (like for example 55 years for the first vaccine, excluding all other data they will obtain during those years), then those practitioners should assume the worst in order to protect the health of their patients. Until there is more transparency, the vax should only be recommended for the ones under biggest threat of a severe covid illness or otherwise, on the long run, it may cause more harm than good to their patients.
The only things that make me scratch my head is how the f - ing hell did we get to this point as a society. How and when, if at all, we are going to get out of this situation. What will be the ultimate cost? What happens when trust in science, media and governments is gone?
Synergy can be so due to the fact that people agree because of data. You need to demonstrate a systematic unjustified bias beyond normal disagreement in interpreting results.
There is a public health policy going on. Would the synergy be any different than in cases of cigarettes and alcohol?
It is not rational to always assume the worst about an active intervention if the alternative is a visible risk of hospitalisation or death from the disease. It should be the balance of risks and benefits, as in all medical decisions. I am sympathetic to your calls for transparency (thats of course important) but doctors are not going to throw out an effective intervention until they see solid evidence of side effects.

Also, that synergy you asked about was at some point in history very much present. Alcohol, cigarettes even morphine ware promoted heavily because of ad money without long term studies. Now it’s much harder to do it, but still very much possible. Especially under an emergency contingency pretext.

The reason I’m being so aggressive towards this issue is the witch-hunt of those who ask questions. Doctors and scientists are threatened to lose their careers they’ve studies for well over a decade if they speak against the narrative. I’ve been brushing it off for months, but it has gone beyond insanity. The only way to force them to comply with the request for transparency is to limit their revenue streams, otherwise things will only get worse.
We got here cause everyone is a sheep. No one wants to do their own research, no one wants to stand up and be outspoken, and people would rather give their rights up and live “safely” than be independent and strong. Sad times we’re in really. The saying goes “Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times”. Well, we’re in the good times and weak men point of the timeline right now. Let’s see how the next decade goes… personally, not so optimistic.

Maybe omicron might protect against stronger variants, much like cowpox against smallpox. Maybe it’s a blessing in disguise. Natural immunity must be better than induced immunity.

I'm in the US. My husband and sons have Covid currently. It is mostly a severe headache, bodyache, and fatigue. One son is completely over it. I had it last year and appear to be immune. Thier symptoms appear to match what the first doctor said. We live close to a college with a large number of exchange students.
I had it in October with same symptoms you mentioned. I recommend electrolyte drinks (Pedialyte or Gatorade) I found my symptoms seemed to be related to loss of electrolytes.

Hi John, I had my second Pfizer vaccine about a week or so ago. I asked the nurse about aspirating the shot and she said that it was "pretty old school", but she was happy to do so and we had a nice talk about it. She said aspiration was a really good idea and it was very easy to do. She said that the needle had to pass through blood vessels all the time to get the needle into the muscle. I was really happy that she was so positive about it. 10/10!
I was lucky today: I went for my booster in UK and the vaccinator was someone I knew vaguely. I asked if she would aspirate and she said she would as it was me: only 1 other person had asked, and the people in charge had said it was "completely unnecessary"! Thank goodness I got her for my vaccination or it clearly would not have been done!

In the rare event that the needle happened to have been put into in a vein, blood will be seen in the barrel and a fresh needle/syringe should be obtained. The vaccines should be injected into the deltoid muscle and not into the bloodstream.

I had done my research so we had supplements and were also able to get India Pharm human Ivermectin at the feed store and also had Hydroxycloroquine because of husbands Lupus. We faired fairly well and both recovered within like 10 days. We are still experiencing mild symptoms but nothing serious. Thank you for your well informed information. The rule of thumb is that a virus that can spread faster will kill more people than one that is intrinsically more deadly but a slower spreader. So fast spreading but weak Delta killed many more people than slower but deadlier Beta and Gamma. Omicron is fast displacing Delta where it has put down roots.

This "panic variant" has been made to push more people to get the jabs. It's all about $$ and vaccines. I just wonder when they will stop make up new variants, when is the end.
@@gocap1112 Who made it? Scientists don't know how to engineer virus variants on demand. Pharmaceutical giants make more money selling therapies so they don't want to push disease-preventative vaccines too much. I can't think of anyone that gains by a new variant except maybe cemetery operators.
Thanks for the information about Omicron. I have no medical training but find it hard to understand why early treatment doesn't get more emphasis in treatment protocols, esp in the 'developed' world.

It's because you're thinking like a nice reasonable human. If you think more cynically then it's clear that early treatment protocols have been suppressed in order to push the vaccine.
Are people even going in for early treatment? There's been a not significant number of people who try to tough it out, and only go in seeking treatment when things get truly bad.

Seeing as natural immunity lasts for decades and is stronger than vaccine based immunity id assume the answer is yes.
Don't know about best, but that is the typical way viruses act (become less deadly and more transmissable with each iteration) because they don't want to kill the host, they want to use the host body to reproduce
