Wisconsin & Southern WAMX 6027 Leads Units, Small Load of Freight into Janesville, WI! 12/07/2024

After catching this train coming thru Milton, Wisconsin we had decided to load up and head for Janesville, Wisconsin where we would catch this awesome train yet again, this time with a small load of freight but still with a 5 pack of locomotives! As the train makes its way thru the crossing, the engineer gives us a wave!

This is pretty typical for a Saturday. That's when they do a power move from Horicon to Janesville, but most of the cars get set out at either Milton or Anderson (siding on the north edge of Janesville). I've seen them come in with six units and no cars on one Saturday, and either four or five units and one car on another.

I’ve seen their power moves like that as well. We’ve caught a 7 locomotive power move once before which was pretty cool. This one we caught after catching them in Milton, Wisconsin
