All three Adams are now going by their last names (yes I know it’s actually Chances middle name) because none of them, including Rupp, wanted to claim “Adam” as their group moniker. So - it’s Rupp, Chance, and Bastien (bassTEEN) going forward.
Bastien (pronounced BASteen), was with Home Free for awhile before Austin joined.so they asked him of would be interested in coming back. And he said “yes”.

There were a lot of babies born named Adam back in the 80's. Home Free has 3 now. People are calling them The Adam's family. I agree with you I think it's going to work. 😉
He seems like a great fit for the group. He has a beautiful voice. Losing Austin was a blow but the group is resilient and still has so much talent. Life is full of change and choices. I wish them continued success. ❤

I hadn't heard Bastien sing until this video, so I was keen to hear how he sounded, and like you once I heard him within the group and the last phrase I was like yep this is going to be alright. I did also hear somewhere that Bastien had already performed with Home Free early on, but I guess due to other things the timing wasn't right but glad he's able to join them now.

It's gonna be Adam (the OG), Chance, and Bastien for me. I know they said to call them by their last names, but there's only one Adam in Home Free for me. I can't start calling him Rupp now. Nope. And yes, it's Bass-teen. Thanks D!
Yes, indeed! It’s going to be more than okay! It is pronounced Basteen! That is what has been told to call him to avoid confusion, like we call Adam Chance, Chance. It’s a last name rule. I even hear the guys call Adam, Rupp, at times! Anyway, glad you are accepting him into the group! He was in the group way back before the Sing Off days. He filled in during at times and was also in a group with Chris Rupp after he left Home Free. It was a foursome group with Chris, Bastien, Chris’ sister, Tristen, and another woman whose name escapes me. It was called 7th Ave. I truly believe Home Free made the right choice with Bastien!
What a beautiful voice. I didnt realize that he had performed with home free in the past. I see that his husband is a singer as well. I must check out some of their music as well.

Bastien has an amazing voice. He has sung with Home Free before The Sing Off. And he was also in the group 7th Ave a group that Chris Rupp started with his sister Tristan. Their are videos of te group on RUclips. I'm so glad that you say we are going to be okay. Because i truly believe that we will be too. Thank you.

Like you, I breathed a sigh of relief, when the new "Adam" sang at the Opry! As you said, I think we're gonna be alright! I'll definitely miss Austin, but it sounds like Bastion will be able to fill Austin's shoes quite nicely!
They have already agreed... it is Adam, Chance, and Bastien. (Basteen is how they pronounce his name). I think he'll fit in.
I was with 5 friends at the show, he did great. The Frys are in good hands.

If you want to hear Bastien outside of Home Free check out 7th Ave with Chris and Tristin Rupp, Adam Rupp's brother and sister. He's also one-half of OneUp, also called OneUpDuo with Jerome Bell. Bastien was also in and out of Home Free as short term replacement in its early early days, so he's been part of the family almost since its inception.

Adam Rupp will be called Rupp, Adam Chance will be called Chance and Adam Bastien will be called Bastien. That's how they're signing posts and emails.

Just a little FYI, Chris Rupp started another band, 7th ave, This is how Home Free knows Adam Bastien, he's done a lot of things with the Rupp's and Rob Lundquist. Do you know Tristin Rupp, YES, they also have a sister that sings that also is a model and actress and been in several movies? The guy Tristin sings to at the coffee bar is Jerome Bell, who sang on The Voice with Adam Bastien, link also added. The woman in yellow in the video is the mother Rupp (I understand she also sings?)

Jerome is Adams husband I believe, and they have done some songs together as a duo.
Adam Bastien sang with pre-sing off Home Free subbing for Matt Atwood at times prior to 2013. Also, Bastien was part of the ‘B’ group that did Home Frees gigs while the guys were competing on the Sing Off. He has remained friends with the guys over the years, as well as being a part of Chris Rupps 7th Ave.

I think Bastien will fit in well with Home Free. He's got a good voice. It will just take time getting used to him because a lot of us will compare him to Austin. Also like that he is tall like all the other guys.
That he's tall emwas actually a requirement, or at least it was a real discussion. I asked them that question (more as a joke) and that was the answer 🤣
Bass - Teen is the way to pronounce his name. Because of 3 Adam’s they opted to go by last names. Rupp, Chance , Bastien

He's got a nice voice, and he seems to fit in, but he's not Austin, and it will take me a while before i will listen to Home Free on a daily basis. I'm 73 years old, and i love music. Tenors are my favorite male vocal range, so will i give him a chance? Sure, just not ready to listen every day. Sorry!

I would never give you a negative reaction, but he is a close friend of Chris Rupp, who I never missed.
They didn't find anyone even close to the talent of Austin. Terrible choice.
Austin will be hard pressed to be replaced not just because of his voice but because of his stage presence. He gave so much personality to the group.
