This is several yrs back. He's even better now!! It's crazy!!
Adam actually plays several instruments, including drums, so he knows the timing. The man is a walking sound machine.

When drummers react to this they don't say it sounds like a sprinkler, they say it sounds exactly like a high-hat, snare and toms
I don't think he meant that in a bad way. He meant the the pattern he was dropping, not the accuracy of the sound.

He has only gotten better since then. He has several more modern ones on RUclips. He now includes a looper in the live shows

Love this guy. He has changed his routine quite a lot since this early one. For a taste of how he now uses multiple loopers in part of it to allow him to sing and harmonize with himself, try this one from their 2023 Christmas tour. I was at one of those concerts. It was absolutely amazing. He got TWO standing ovations. One after the looper portion and one at the end. And as for the "drop the bass", he recently blew out their sound system doing that. He looked so proud, too.

This performance divides neatly into Part 1: ridiculously accurate drum sounds and Part 2: what the hell is happening right now I'm scared MOMMEEE!
Nowadays I gather they give him a turntable thing on a riser (it's still acapella if you're just live-remixing your own voice), and he doesn't blow out the sound system quite so often as Tim does, so they've kept him in the band.
There are a *lot* of HF songs to recommend, but for Rupp not only playing a nonexistent harmonica but overblowing it*, the obvious choices are Ain't Going Down Till The Sun Comes Up or Working For A Living. I'm also partial to Brother (not to be confused with Brothers In Arms), which showcases some of Rupp's more esoteric abilities.
* How do you tell Adam Rupp from an actual harmonica? The thing that sounds more like a harmonica is Adam.
I mentioned this one in another video but you’re doing it! Yay! Adam is amazing and this is an old one. He now has a looper where he records sounds in front of the audience and makes all kinds of sounds but I love this one as it really shows his drum talents. He does this in every concert. Love Adam. And with Adam you don’t need music! 😍😄
He learned to play drums to be authentic looking when he does his solo! Watching the kids and some adults try this with him is awesome!

I had no idea what beat boxing even was when I saw him do this live, back in 2016. Needless to say, my jaw hit the floor. I was in awe. Still am :)

Adam Rupp and his brother Chris founded the band in 2001 (Chris left around 2016 to pursue other projects - he's the one in the cowboy hat). Adam is an alien life form - he precisely vocalizes everything from a drum kit to no-monica, castanets - just about everything. He plays drums, trumpet, piano and almost anything else he picks up. BTW, the all can beatbox (to a lesser extent than Adam). Watch their video "9-5 + beatboxing breakdown" - it's jaw-dropping.

I don't understand why people want to criticize the way you do reactions This is your channel and the way you do your reactions is your choice There is no reason that you should need to be corrected for the way you do things

You said something about Micheal Jackson well Adam does do a Micheal Jackson part in some of his solos.
This is a 2015 video Adam has just improved so much over the years he now uses a looper to make his own EDM beat.
Home Free started and Adam and his brother Chris started the group in 2000/ 2001 so he’s been beatboxing for 23- 24 years now. I believe there’s not a sound he can’t make

Actually, the whole group can beatbox, just not as well as Adam. They do a beatbox routine during Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5”, where they all have a go at it
Wasn't that great! Love Adam Rupp & his insane talent. He is the best out there in my opinion. He simulates the sounds of a drum perfectly. Many drummers have commented on how good he is. He sounds so realistic. His breath control must be crazy. I heard he makes the sounds both while inhaling & exhaling. This was a few years ago & hard to believe but he is even better now. Adam is the glue that holds Home Free together. He is their secret weapon which other a cappella groups can't match.
Think you might enjoy Hillbilly Bones a Blake Shelton cover and Listen to the Music a Doobee Brothers cover. Both are great
