Your reaction to Anxiety's appearance in this teaser really cracked me up.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The four new emotions are: Anxiety, Envy (the one with big sparkly eyes), Embarrassment (the big and pink one) and Ennui (the one with a big nose). Just for you to know... Ennui is just another word for Boredom/Tedium. A description about Anxiety says that she is not an emotion that likes to take a backseat, so we may expect some conflicts between her and the other emotions (especially Joy).

Saw a twitter post saying they portrayed puberty as a wrecking crew that comes into your life and tears down everything without permission then left a massive mess and it seems that the emotions are the ones cleaning up the whole damage but it would be more chaotic right now since aside from anxiety, there would be embarrassment, ennui, and envy that will also challenge the previous emotions especially Joy.

That’s Maya Hawke as Anxiety, a new emotion.
Also, because of Bob Chapek before he was fired, it’s Tony Hale and Liza Lapira as Fear and Disgust this time, no longer Bill Hader and Mindy Kaling (though given she’s doing Velma S2 over this, which is just what, it was never gonna happen).
Can’t wait to see who voices Ennui, Embarrassment, and Envy.

You may or may not know that fear and disgust have been recasted due to the previous actors saying no to the amount they'll get if they reprise their roles (Amy Poehler gets 5 million while the rest gets 100,000)
The new emotions may have been there in the parent heads from the get go, they might just be on like a secondary bridge and the main emotions run the core, they have the memory then go down and have the other emotions add or remove to the memory. creating more complex thoughts and memories in the process.
I’m afraid to see this in theaters because if the first movie made me cry so hard I had a headache all day, I’m worried this one will make me cry to point where I can’t breath!

With Inside Out 2 introducing Embarrassment, the film could flash back to this scene, with Fear and Embarrassment bonding, if Riley were to come out as trans. It would flash back to this scene because, similarly to Reilly’s actual birth, Reilly’s coming out is somewhat of a rebirth, finally getting to live the life they always wanted for themselves. As for the emotions the scene would feature 2 emotions, one new and one old. Embarrassment on how they see themselves and Fear of what their parents mights say. While this is happening you can see Fear and Embarrassment looking at each other and holding hands, the one moment, in the whole film, when Embarrassment is not bouncing off the walls. By the way I am a trans woman and a lesbian. With the political and social climate being the way that it is, I cry every time I read a horror story, Brianna Ghey, Jasmine "Star" Mack, Maria Jose Rivera Rivera, Zachee Imanitwitaho, Ashley Burton, Tasiyah “Siyah” Woodland, Koko Da Doll/Rasheeda Williams and Chanell Perez Ortiz, about the violence against trans women and I can’t take it anymore. I would love to see a trans woman portrayed with love and respect. We got it on TV with Quantum Leap (2023) Season 1, EP 12, “Let Them Play”, Dead Like Me Season 2, EP 4, “The Shallow End”, Midnight Dinner: Tokyo Stories EP 1, “Tan Min” and we got it, finally, in film this year with Trace Lysette and her Oscar worthy performance in Monica. That being said we never got it in an animated film. I would love to see Pixar pull the trigger and do it. Disney has had, to my knowledge, at lease 2 trans men characters, that I know of, and yet no trans women characters. People would love to see people like them on screen, especially if Reilly is gonna be a teen in middle school and or starting high school. Trans kids, out or closeted, look to films, tv, video games, books or music to find something that lets them know that they are worth it and are loved, no matter what. Also with Pixar handling Reilly’s story with such love and respect, in Inside Out 1, I think it is time.
