Bobby Thompson strict pressing those hevighest weights is truly impressive. Reminds me of when Eddie hall did his axle world record, no legs just brute shoulder/chest strength
Honestly shoulder and forearm strength are the most impressive, like seeing a guy lift something heavy above his head with nothing but his shoulder strength is really impressive.
I’m 49 and really out of shape. I have been watching alot of these videos and have made myself a goal to get into shape before I turn 50 next year. Great inspirational videos man!

That was very heartwarming what Bobbie said at the end. I love that Brian still competes. He may never win a WSM again but it’s not like he’s the worst he came in second place last year fourth place this year. He’s still one of the best. He’s leaving a massive legacy behind and helping out all the other younger strong men these days. Possibly he could still win a WSM now with the right side of events.
I like it when the weight of the lift is put on the screen, its one of the big reasons i watch training videos, i assume thats true of others aswell. Might give you bigger views on your training vids which have seemed to be slipping lately
I feel like I'm the only one that fears fort their feet when they drop any of the heavy weights from the log to the dumbbells and barbells, stones, etc. Then I pondered if the weights are too heavy for steel toes to be a protection and become more of a danger. mad respect to all the strong men.
Brian .. on the sandbags throw why don’t u a bar right there by shed and the stick from side of cement and when u need to workout for that event, u connect the 2 parts like a |7 not a lot of money to do ✌️💰👍
I really want/need to get back working out. I see almost everyday where my body, I don’t want to say is failing, but Ive lost a large portion of my strength. I’ve noticed that I have severely lost my grip, and I/muscles fatigue way to quickly. Just yesterday I was unloading small logs weighing between maybe 5lbs-20lbs each carrying them to a burn pile probably 60 feet away, and throwing the logs 10 feet over a creek. Made 10 trips from wood pile to burn pile and noticed muscle and grip fatigue in the middle of doing it. It wasn’t the same feeling as a pump. It was legit tiredness. I recovered somewhat quickly after, but little things like that really eat at me. I even have “chicken wings” bad now (flabby triceps). 6’4 360 my weight has turned against me now. I’m genuinely fat now. I don’t eat like I did when working out, but I ballooned up after I stopped working out. Went from “fit” looking 340lb to fat@$$ 360lb.
I’m surprised they used that platform for the dumbbell. Seems like 1 slightly mis-angled drop and those metal bars that are used for bands is gonna get bent to hell.
Idea to get faster! Treat yoga like workouts. Hold position as long as you can and match it the next 2 sets. Able to throw your weight around easily! Can you dunk?
