This is the first animated version of the song that actually has the preacher hanging from a rope. I appreciate that
1:09 I love the transition from string to guitar. It doesn’t stop there. The liveliness and body language after with the MC performance speaks a lot of his personality and hidden mystical powers
This turned out awesome, its neat seeing an animatic for a song thats been stuck in my favorites playlist for a few months XD

You know something is good when you watch it and immediately go to the description to learn more
The transitions in this? They are just so good!? I particularly loved the seasons changing > abstract line representing music > guitar strings that the narrator is playing and cracks on statue > spider web > MC passing behind spider web. The first is just such a brilliantly creative way to show time passing but in a way that is both interesting and fits the song. The second is so rife with layers of symbolism. I love them both.
I love your oc, his mannerisms are really cool, and so is his snake friend.

Ok, I cannot be the only one who thinks that the hells coming with me story fits the story of John Proctor during the Salem witch trials, but instead of him dying, he escaped when everyone turned on him and came back with the vengeance of God.
For one, the black beast could be Abigail and the priest being reverend Parris.
Another thing is that John Proctor would be “the righteous hand of god” if he came back for revenge, and he would also be the devil that they forget in the eyes of Salem.
