I believe Planet 9 was originally between Uranus and neptune and it's orbit got severelly destabilized due to Uranus and neptune switching and combined with The Fifth Giant's ejection Planet 9 was sent outwards to where it currently is

If you do a part 4, one hypothetical object that would be _really_ interesting would be the baseball-sized primordial black hole that's an alternative theory to Planet 9. Honestly, I'm kinda hoping that Planet 9 turns out to be a PHB rather than a planet. Imagine the kind of research that could be done with a stable, inactive or mostly inactive black hole that's small enough to safely approach.
