    Just remember that Autumn is best time for cemetery activity, especially in the older sections and new graves as well

      @martiwest2594 I do not disagree with that statement! I look forward to returning to this cemetery sometime in the future! I hope that when we return, this cemetery is as beautiful as it was when we first visited it! I had a magical time exploring this beautiful location!

      Hi Kent, we enjoyed our time at Greenwood Cemetery in Decatur! In fact, it was hard for us to leave this place. I look forward to going back one day, maybe the next time we visit family in Illinois. I was born and raised in Mattoon, Il. Thank you for watching this video! Have a good day my friend!

    Guilty of sitting in chair. Regret it to big time. So much here i went through. I use to live by the entrance as a teen. Hells hollow is there to also at night you can go to the dam on other side and see a lot

      The new parking lot is where you see the most at night, if you're open, I see soldiers❤ all the time

      First of all, I am jealous that you once lived by this beautiful cemetery, but on the flipside, I feel bad that you regret sitting in the chair. Unfortunately, we ran out of time the day that we were there. I tried to gain permission from the cemetery owners to allow us to conduct a night-time investigation but was turned down. Anyhow, if I was a resident of Decatur, I would have plenty more video adventures at this cemetery! I absolutely loved my time there! Thank you for your response!

      Thank you for that information. If we make it out to Illinois at the beginning of next year, we may put this cemetery on our calendar. I'm not familiar with any parking lots at this cemetery, but I will look out for it if we make it back. Thank you for pointing out some active spots!

      Cindy Hamill, I remember when I was younger, we went on family trips to Decatur! The town was a great place to visit, however, I would have never thought that I would be given the opportunity to traverse the cemetery as we did when we shot this video. This cemetery is such a lovely place! Thank you for sharing, and I'm kind of jealous that you've had the chance to walk this cemetery for 22 years!

      Forgotton baby forgotten Decatur, I really enjoyed my time at Greenwood Cemetery, regardless of whether we were successful in capturing evidence of the paranormal during our time here. Now If given the opportunity to prove to any naysayer that this place is indeed a spirit haven, just like 100% of all the other cemeteries in the world... I think you'd be surprised... if I could only be permitted to investigate this location and conduct a formal nighttime investigation here. Thank you for your support!

    • @stefsinkal
      @stefsinkal Год назад +1

      Oh it's haunted, and "What should you not do when visiting a grave?
      Do their best to NOT walk over the graves. Common sense leads you to know the basic shape of a grave; WALK IN BETWEEN the HEADSTONES, and don't stand on top of a burial place. I cringed Everytime you walked 😭😭😭Make sure you cleansed afterwords down below the cemetery was flooded and bodies came up so some graves are unknown if the bodies there or somewhere eles... That's the REAL story😉 and there's a wolf or a dog, not nice either, and Ive SEEN Confederate dressed soldiers,and had muskets 😮 at the bottom, by the damn, you can sit in that parking lot in the back and you can look up and see at night 😉
