Dear Life in Chiang Rai Thailand, According to Google search in Thai language, the name in Thai is พระพุทธรัชมงคลบดีตรีโลกนาถ (Phra Bhuda Rachamongkol Bodi Tri Loknat), which name can be translated to 'Buddha is auspicious kingship the one who can be relied on in Trailokya' So, according to the name, the statue can be called 'a big Budda'. Anyhow, I don't have a deep religion knowledge about Guan Yin and how Guan Yin image looks like...so it is possible that you might be right too :) I'm thinking of the case of the statue in front of Central World shopping mall in Bangkok.. All of us Thai call it Phra Trimurati, but the image is actually Shiva in Hindu.

It was a very beautiful place I have recently visited there and you have to go to accha authentic restro near hotel blue lagoon and it has a delicious indian food and many people from different countries i have sawn that they came and enjoy that food.

When did you go to the white temple? I mean what time was it? I’ve always seen it so packed with people but in your video it’s so empty!
I went very early in the morning on a week day, as well there was not many tourists at that time because of covid.
