I attribute the roof rust on my own Mini to long term storage under a stormfoce cover - In my ignorance I hadn't considered the effect it might have. Although much more expensive I bought a Carcoon to store my Lotus in over winter and free up space in the garage - worth checking out for your minis.
I like Sprout and P111OOW as they are more luxurious and have the 5 speed gearbox which it was crying out for years.

I'm lucky I don't need three vehicles only one. Don't you just hate hoards? They full up every space and you can't walk in it. I never intend to have a second vehicle in the boat shed in Wedge Avenue because of a door that's difficult to close till it's shut firm, plus a bolt on a slide lock can mark a gravel drive.
Totally understand your point with low milage cars. Great if you have space to shove it but if you want cars to use they are a pain with taking up space!

Having seen Tardis 'in the metal' I can confirm what an utterly superb Mini it is (sorry about the handprint) and what a small world that it was sold in Surbiton when I lived there.
What a hard choice between Sprout and Tardis though. Me? I would have moved Sprout on simply because Tardis is an utterly unique car like the John Cooper S is in its own way.
Basically its all about gut feeling and what makes sense to you. Hope it makes the money it deserves. ie A LOT!
My volvo spent a lot of time under a cover last year. It got pretty damp and grotty inside. They need to either be stashed inside or used dont they. Looking forward to whats coming keith. 996 911 would be my next goal 😁

Hiya Keith-Tardis is a very honest, smart Mini. I'm modelling Bruce on him actually. Shame he's going, but we're all looking forward to the next project whatever that is. Keep well and keep the videos coming!

Sounds strange but I do have a soft spot for project sprout, be nice for it to have the cooper conversion upgrade at some stage 👍would love my cooper converted mini 30 to get the restoration it deserves one day 🤔😊

hey Keith, I know you know P111OWW used to be red, as one of your first videos has a poster of it on the floor in the background (you talk of triggers broom in the video) but,.did you realise it's a car that Clarkson drove himself back when it was new?

Hi, thanks. P111OWW is the press car that was driven by Jeremy Clarkson etc. It's still Red and privately owned. My car is P111OOW. Very similar registration numbers but not the same car.

a true enthusiast owns only one mini, and working on it as a hobby not making profit out of it. why buy 3-4 minis?? doesn't make sense!!😏
So the last Mini I done, project "Bruce" which I put 200+ hrs into for free for a subscriber? Stop being a troll or I will just block all of your comments from the channel. And if you think any of the Minis sell for a profit, it really shows how little you know about the hard work that goes into them!
