When Bud and Spence met 5 years ago Bob Arum told Spence to his face to stay away from Bud for a reason. Not cause he was biased but cause he and Bud knew it was a complete miss match 💯. Too flat footed, no head movement, leaning in on jabs. He tried to bully and pressure Bud like he does all his opponents but nobody knew how strong Bud really was. Once Spence realizes he couldn't pressure Bud cause he's strong and fights on the back foot Spence's whole game plan was out the window 💯.

He is the type of fighter that a older fighter that been through it should avoid for a comeback fight. I don't think Spence still has it. That type of loss can change a fighter and never be the same .
A lot of debate whether it’ll be the same type of fight or not. I think it’ll be a different fight. Make it happen at some point to settle any doubts
I'd love to see Errol come back and look like his former self. I think he'll be stronger and more healthy overall at 154. I just wish he'd take a tune-up fight, for once, just to see what his body is still capable of first. I respect the mentality, but I don't want to see anybody get seriously hurt in there. The fact is, after the car crash, the eye surgery, and the Bud fight, we don't know how much of a toll all those things have taken on him both physically and mentally. I think he beats Fundora regardless though, but if he's not back to his old self, this could be the fight that sparks the end of his career.

I would want to see Spence beat Fundora, but I cannot envision how he can do it. In his fight with Crawford he lacked timing, reaction time, feet, and his first time being knocked down was with a jab like punch from Crawford. Fundora is bigger so there is a definite natural weight and height advantage and he's extra tall and strong and aggressive.
This fight will tell you a lot about what Spence has left. If he struggles or loses to Fundora he needs to quit

Fundora is a bum who was knocked out cold by Mendoza a and was on his way to being stopped by Tim. He’s going to beat Spence still.
There is a reason for that. PBC is very strategic and has promoted Spence as a cashcow (which he is not). He is a product of match making, they use the Texas market cause they know Texas has a large boxing fan base. If they had him fight a tuneup u would see that he ain't no PPV star the way they say he is. That's why all his fights since he won his first belt have been opponents WITH NAMES. They must continue the illusion that no matter what Spence sells. They are fighting in Dallas with a large Mexican fanbase and Fundora is Mexican so it's gonna do decent numbers regardless

he lost to Crawford for two reasons he stood in the pocket for too long and he tried to exchange with Crawford. You don’t beat Crawford by trying to exchange with him. That’s not how this works. He didn’t have the speed in the defense to go blow for blow, but he does have is the ability to attack the body and break you down he jumped on him way too early and the fight is my favorite boxer so I can teach him without feeling any type of way. The reason why he got rid of Derek James because Derek James failed tremendously of his career but it’s also EJ‘s fault because he couldn’t stay out of his own way once he got hit a few times with that jab he should’ve realized let me get on my bike and work with with he gives me he should’ve allowed Crawford to go on the hunt unfortunately by the time Crawford went on the hunt. He was already battered at that point Crawford great boxer him that was his speed and his crisp timing just looked like realistically he stayed at 147 for too long
