Funny all those bad comments. People don't have a clue about the cost of materials and labor in 2024 and all the tooling needed to make this trailer. It's a business also, they can't buy a 300$ TV and have someone install a support + wiring and sell it for 315$. It's a niche product probably build in a small facility that can't build 150 000 of them each year like other brand. It take volume to be able to bring the cost down. Anyway, good job @Bowlus, this trailer is on my short list.
looks very cheap, no calking, no storage, and the price my lord, $700.00 for a tv that is maybe 300. wow just wow. $700.00 for a tank for propane. $100,00.00 they are out of their minds. you could build a nice rig for that price. I would never waste my money on this
I would say simple and minimal. If your fitment is good you shouldn't need caulk. I do agree the price is way out of their level of finish. They should be having aviation grade finish for what they are charging. Having worked on private jet interiors myself.
We hand-build all Bowlus travel trailers in Oxnard, CA, and we precision engineer & manufacture over 70% of our own parts. We don't use caulk to fill gaps between interior panels because those gaps don't exist.
Wow, weeping holes for windows. As an owner of a 23FB who experienced floor rot under multiple windows, that little thing -speaks- SCREAMS volumes about their approach to customers snd quality. 👍🏽😎👍🏻
Our windows are precision manufactured to take the curvature of the Bowlus. We then custom-fit each one and perform extensive leak testing prior to moving the Bowlus to the next phase of production. Bowlus travel trailers do not suffer from the common leaking issues you may have experienced with other travel trailers.
It needs a rear bumper. Cause fixing that rear aint gonna be cheap when you bump into something. At least 2' on either side. Make it aluminum with a step. Call it the schtoop!
Did y'all see the rivets at that license plate holder they put them rivets in there to keep that license plate from bouncing off that camper that's badass
The people who buy these also have the money to defend lawsuits from blinding fellow travelers on the highway. Bonus- it can cook a family of four in two hours on a sunny day.
SHOWER TOO SMALL, very poor design planning, need to sit down. Luxury? No. Refig tiny, Cassette toilet? Really? So when I'm at a campground, can't even take advantage of sewer hook up? Again, poor planning. Why not have built it even one foot wider? It would have given more width than a B-van; think about it, some B-Vans are wider than this six-foot-wide trailer. OMG. Of course, the most important thing is it can be towed by an electric vehicle, lol, great planning..not.
We believe in ultra-lightweight and aerodynamics to facilitate the best possible towing experience, which informs the teardrop shape you are referring to.
Bowlus has an iconic story in the RV industry as the original riveted aluminum travel trailer. Hawley Bowlus designed and built the first riveted aluminum travel trailer in 1934. Hawley was known for creating the Spirit of St. Louis among numerous aerospace firsts. For his time, the Bowlus enjoyed luxurious finishes and found homes with Hollywood and business elite. The Bowlus inspired more than a dozen copycats, but none could ever match the superiority of the design and function.
This is quite a work of art. I'm a little disappointed that they put plywood in the cabinets. It'd be so much more artistic to have done the cabinets entirely in metal. But, still a work of art.
That tiny casette toilet is an absolute show stopper. Despite all the other wonderful aspects of this trailer, I would not buy it at even half the price. Nobody likes dealing with cassette toilets, and those few gallons would not last nearly enough, good grief! I thought Airstream black tanks were small (and we did own one)!
The pricing is a major ripoff wow. That’s ridiculous. The $700 tv can be bought for less than $100. Unbelievable prices. Definitely not worth the prices
I'm not lying when I say this last week on Alibaba I saw this same design for 7k. I'm sure they added things to it but these companies are just ordering from China and adding a few things and selling them for 100k
The Rivet is the first production RV to be self-propelled, self-powered, and remote-controlled, enabling access virtually anywhere. With exceptional power and traction, the AeroMove drives up steep slopes, turns 360 degrees, and can maneuver the Rivet into campsites, driveways, and parallel parking spaces.
I guess everybody likes Airstream in here I am an aluminum guy how much is a 2024 Airstream the same length I didn't see bad quality maybe a few things I might have done different but then you're not going to really know that until you go camping so I thought it was badass
I'm Truly truly sorry, but the price is just so preposterous (other RV companies are doing this price raising too). Not Even $65,000 is acceptable. Just such a money grab. it absolutely doesnt cost even a quarter of what you are asking to produce these.
Uugh, nope. Sorry, It looks like a cargo plane inside. For this kind of money, I was expecting more. Just watching this is making me claustrophobic. It needs better space utilization & some creativity. 😮
Not for the money they are asking. I've seen better on some DIY vans. This must be a demo because my unprofessional eyes can see a lot of things wrong. It looks so dead on the inside, nothing screaming buy me but some caulking 😂😂 Uh, this is a no.
I really loved it, very quirky and cool. Just the price is jaw dropping.

Well said

According to there website, they START at $148000 and the next size up is $120000 on top of that. That's ridiculously high.
That tv was less than $300. I bought a much bigger tv for $289 lmfao. This woman is out of her mind with these prices.

That is a stunning trailer! And 4 seasons too... wow...thanks for showcasing this Patrick!
I think it’s adorable. Blank canvas to “doll up” at will! And remote control for easy maneuvering! What’s not to love? Thank you!
Blank canvas to do up at $???

I like that it reminds me of a Gladiator Helmet from the back. I'd put a comb on it for effect.😊
Definitely an interesting shape😊😊😊

We offer a rear bumper with a backup camera as an option on some floorplans.
Did y'all see the rivets at that license plate holder they put them rivets in there to keep that license plate from bouncing off that camper that's badass
To call that a king bed is a WILD exaggeration.
The bed is 79” long and 76" wide at the headbords.
Great rig❤
Pretty shiny

Very nice! But $165,000+ ??? Wow!
For that price, I’ll take an Airstream!!!
Look at that Airstream glistening in the background 1:45 1:48
27 year old paint
Awesome love it ❤

Absolutely love the interior absolutely hate the boat shape

Interesting. I love Airstream but have never heard of this company.

@@Bowlus Thank you for the information!👍
tree huggers dream...

Thanks for the feedback
Clothes storage? No roof lockers in bedroom area!
It’s not meant for extended trips, but what a sweet weekender! 🥰
Other models, including the Endless Highways, offer a longer floorplan with floor-to ceiling closets. We have customers who full-time in their Bowlus.
@@Bowlus - “Bowlus’s. 🤓 if you had a single customer, you would be correct. But you said customerS. 🥰

Interesting.. nice camera work too.
These things are ridiculous works of art.
Would never buy one ..it’s ugly .
Peace… this is a well thought out RV . Is it affordable???
About 160k ….Affordable they are not lol
nice quality, but what was the $10k option?
That was for the little "tractor" that drives the RV remotely.

All right here we are man I had to come back and watch this one again
What "The Rocketeer" uses for camping...Great design, but did the toilet compartment seem too small to close the door while using it?
You open the toilet door and the shower door to make a bathroom. By opening those two doors shuts out the other rooms
Beautiful but way to pricy! The finishing inside is very disappointing! to many uneven gaps...
I'm Truly truly sorry, but the price is just so preposterous (other RV companies are doing this price raising too). Not Even $65,000 is acceptable. Just such a money grab. it absolutely doesnt cost even a quarter of what you are asking to produce these.
Would like to have known standard price and fully loaded price?
She mentioned pricing and options pricing in the video
Thats a big NO.
Wish it didn’t have a cassette toilet
What's your objection ?
Hello Patrick I see you😊❤
this is an 'I have f u money and don't mind throwing hundreds of thousands of dollars around' trailer
My 7 year old tiny house on wheels was $32k 28 feet long 13.5 high amd its WAYYY prettier than this icky rig
No awning?

Nope not a comfortable looking trailer and the bed looks bad
Looks cheap and cookie cutter. Total rip off for the price. It looks like the inside of passenger plane 😂
Parece un bunker para el fin del mundo. No es nada acogedor. Entre tanque de guerra y nave espacial 🚀. Jamás compraría algo asi.
Not a fan. I would never buy one. No room inside !!!
Can I have one?🙂
Hello Patrick I see you😊❤
