In the Erubis Underhive, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: The Arbites, who investigate crime, and the district mob bosses, who undermine the law. These are their stories.
Honestly, they could make a sequel to this with Snow-Dog and his remaining gang members potentially earning pardons in exchange for giving the planetary government or maybe the Inquisition the knowledge that they can tranquilize/ destroy the Tyranids with those Karma pills. There are plenty of possibilities to use them in traps, laced into bait, etc.
We don't know as the author didn't talk about them after. So maybe they escaped off world before it happened. Like in movies " if it doesn't happen on screen it may be rewrite". In some case it may be rewrite any way.
Thanks for another great story! I listened to this one as I took care of my early morning regimen- walking the dog, getting my medicine set up, going over and taking care of my elderly parents’ dog (they live very close and count on me for a lot)- it was the perfect length for it- it ended just when I got home and sat at my desk for a minute. Really enjoyed this one- thanks again!
These are a daily joy, please keep these up. If you ever fancy doing longer stuff, Storm of Iron would be a wonderful one. Not to long, never been read aloud before, fantastic book.
One of the best character from one of the best author. I loves in inclusion in the bigger story of the planet as it makes it easier to get attached to the world.
These are largely pretty good, entertaining at least. Which is pleasantly surprising as I was very resistant to reading/listening to warhammer literature. I read a ton but never like to invest any of that time in game or movie originated IPs and felt the same about warhammer. But you and the other warhammer audiobook guy (wyvern) on youtube have really made these shorts exceedingly entertaining. You've got a real talent for this. Back to my original point...these are largely quite good but this may have been one of my favorites. Ive always loved the hives and necromunda (as the underworld/hutt/bounty hunter elements of star wars were always my favorite, i guess it makes sense) and I hadn't heard or read any stories focused on those places and the gangers/enforcers who live such ostensibly insignificant lives relative to the warhammer 40k scale. Thanks for doing these. Seriously, idk how you havent been hired by someone to narrate some beloved scifi or fanrasy series's audiobook. I hope there are more like this!
Hey, before its gone, you should get the Dark Heresy Bundle off of Humble Bundle. 18$ for over 400$ of Dark Heresy Books. There's a ton of fluff and short stories in them that would make great content on this channel
Its funny how things never change. The story could be rewritten with a bunch of pirates fighting over a map with a Capt from the Royal Navy coming for all of them or a Marshall coming for some cattle restless or a modern drug deal gone south as on Miami Vice. Humans will never change.
The Story confused me a bit during the first half because it sounded alot like a part from the Warriors of Ultramar Novel and i couldnt remember this Part happened or not like this but this Story plays after the Book and before Honshu(or how that Iron Warriors Warpsmith name was) fuck it all up.
Yo, I've been listening to these for almost a year and I keep meaning to ask what your intro song is. Can I listen to it somewhere, that 4 second intro tune slaps 🙏 Keep up the good work man.
Damn, no drugs, no money, fulla holes, lost 2 buddies, bruised and banged up, and they still got bills to pay. "Business as usual"? Dude shoulda been in the Guard or joined the Space Marines as a kid.
In game terms... your models take several strength 3 hits... oh look... you survived... Crack grenades... the minimum necessary demo in the 40th 41st or 42nd thousandth year... AD presumably

BLAM BLAM
Lmao. That's brilliant
If Dick Wolfe lives till the 40th millennium I can see this being made.
Dude this reading is so damn good. This channel is a gem
thanks man
It's a nice change to see other parts of the W40k galaxy than SM. This was great. Thanks.
Yeah nice change of pace for sure
Loved that story especially the ending that's the best way I've ever heard of a character killing a tyranid monster
Snowdog and the gang from Erebus-Hive, frigging Tarsis Ultra. "Warriors of Ultramar"
I thought Snowdog sounded familiar! I read Warriors of Ultramar about 4 years ago...
Wow. You made this hive-gang story sound like a Guy Ritchie movie. You rule Border Prince
thanks man!
@@ABorderPrince its epic man. 🇮🇪
It should be. That would be awesome. Guy Ritchie 40k

Bit hard as they all died, chaos marines
Snowdogg is a hero of the underhive! HE SAVED EVERY ONE HE COULD. Should of gave the man a platoon of guardsmen to clean up the nids in the hive.
Ahhhh. Trust the tyranids to bring two rivals together.....
Another great upload lad. Your narration is on point mate. Respect.
thanks man
It’s a hallmark moment
Might want to add a second or two of silence when the POV character changes. Makes the story easier to follow.
i hear ya
Really love the way you channel the spirit of Judge dredd for Arbitey Gunderson.
LOL if i did it was accident
Another great one bro. Top notch narration. The emperor would be proud.
Thanks man
I just realized that Snowdog and Silver are all dead now. Damned Chaos Marines!
RIP
Wow thanks for the spoilers
How so mate?

Graham McNeill writes amazing short stories. I never liked his novels, but he can write a short story like no one else.

Probably my favorite story done by you. It just seems to fit you and came out naturally.
41:30 Now this is the quality writing I'm here for.
Well done. I enjoyed that one, a great story to flesh out Hive life.
One of the best character from one of the best author. I loves in inclusion in the bigger story of the planet as it makes it easier to get attached to the world.
This was brilliantly done man, bravo.

I prefer your narration to the "official" stuff - more human. Many Thanks and Best Wishes.
Nicely read
thanks!
All Necromunda should be read with extra smash and liquor! Great stuff!
Wrong shitty ghetto metal mountains my guy
Loved it for the third time !!
Wow nice. Best part is the main characters did not die.
This is SO GOOD

accurate

Your delivery and pronunciation of gangster slang from a sci-fi story tickles me.
Damn, no drugs, no money, fulla holes, lost 2 buddies, bruised and banged up, and they still got bills to pay. "Business as usual"? Dude shoulda been in the Guard or joined the Space Marines as a kid.
You got a cool voice
cheerS!
Can anyone recommend other underhive tales?
Do you plan to do other books? Not complaining about you and LTGB. Just wondering because I don't want it to end 😭

"I am the law!" 😡
97. Either your getting more likes or I've been slow on the draw lol
LOL pretty good
Snowdog looks like roided Guy Fieri in my mind's eye
I'd have written something across the guards forehead while he was unconscious. Something like"Snowdog spared my life!". That would be very funny.
SNOW DAWG IS STRAIGHT BALLER! HE'S THE YUNG BUSSIE OF EREBUS HIVE!
lol
For your shekels
I can totally see these gangers looking similar to a US gangster
First comment.
haha you win!
If you ain't first your last
What a truly dreadful intro.
