We have to stop labeling accountability as judgment. The church is called to lead the way in our society, but we can't do that if we can't even lead ourselves. We are as human and flawed as anyone else, BUT we have a Savior who loves us and is with us; and will help us through all of our issues. We have to be humble & honest about our flaws and areas of struggle. We cannot defend the indefensible in service of our egos.

I have followed Bishop Noel Jones ever since he took the reins of Bishop McMurray waaay back when. He baptized me when I was I believe 8 or 9 years old. Some people have asked me why is my heart so good and I can honestly say that ONE of the reasons was listening to this man every Sunday (At 8 o’ clock, 11 o’ clock AND 6 o’ clock service) he taught me how to be accountable, respect, speak eloquently, and a realistic servant. I am forever grateful. I haven’t been to church in almost 6 years but when I do, I know where I’ll be going.
