I love how the lemon gag goes all the way back to when Rodney was a one time character on SG-1 to be the thorn in Carter's side. Funny, the same episode also featured both Q and The Doctor. Just goes to show how much the writers of SG valued character growth as both Woolsey and McKay were written to be bad characters and grew to be invaluable cast members.

Needles to say, she got arrested for attempted murder.
Amazon just bought stargate's recording studio, MGM so there's hope again. Now we just need to bug Bezos into recording more Stargate for Amazon prime video

Sam is wrong on a number of occasions. She just usually manages to work around the problem or find her way to the solution that had been eluding her. Look at the time dilation problem. Took her YEARS to work that out. Also, Mckay says a LOT of stuff is impossible right before he does it or it happens to him. He's wrong A LOT.
Honestly this feels more like Rodney and John screwing with Cam. A lemon on it's own isn't that much of a threat, and given how close they actually are, I wouldn't be surprised if they did this to see just how much Cam took John seriously.
I never watched Atlantis beyond Weir and the doctor leaving in season 4 . Was kinda sour and to be honest I was burnt by that point from marathoning the show! Lol How was Atlantis after that?

His citrus allergy's well known. It was mentioned in several episodes of SGA and even caused a very admitted fan to have a truckload of fake lemons dumped in the parking lot of one of the producers after SGA got cancellled... WE STILL WANT THE SGA MOVIE!
It's very well established that McKay is allergic to lemons, I think even the first time he was introduced he asks whether food has citrus or not, due to his allergies (later on the episode Carter gets annoyed by him, and tells him to "go suck a lemon".
The first episode he appears in on SG1 while in the cafeteria he asks if their is lemon on the chicken. He makes a similar at the end of SGA Rising. He states it again in season 2 Duet, its became I known fact that McKays is allergic to citrus. It is the first mention of a lemon actually being carried around on missions though (at least from what I remember).
I asked David at a convention if McKay was exaggerating the severity of his allergy and he said in real life he's allergic to pineapple himself He said as a kid he'd eat a slice or two and him and his family would laugh at his lips swelling up He said when he left home for the first time he decided to eat a whole pineapple, he ended up in hospital

The producers of Atlantis originally wanted Browder to play Sheppard but he was filming peace keeper wars and had to turn them down.

I like how McKay character went from "meh" in SG-1 to "wholesome" in SGA.
Rodney's a lot of things, but I'd never characterize him as "wholesome." "Lovable pain in the ass" is as far as I'd go. 😉

I think it's due to the fact that his brain stops functioning properly when she's nearby.
But he's not wrong here. What he said was correct, but later he found a way around the problem, Sam didn't correct him.
