In my recliner, it looks like the spring popped loose from a swivel loop, is there a tool to pull that spring back in place? I can't find a leverage point to loop the spring back on the swivel hook

Very cool! I'm repairing a chaise that has very similar failure and I was really scratching my had it how I was going to mount new clips that would actually be effective, since, just like yours, I don't have access to the top edge where the original clips were mounted (without completely reupholstering... Which the chaise could probably use, but I am not that committed, I'm just trying to get it in good enough shape to be given away rather than abject trash)
