Yes, Oklahoma defense did smother the Hogs, but more than that really pushed around the thinner, slighter build Hogs. It was brutal.

@@smithjoe321 You're not allowed to touch any part of the rim that can that can change the trajectory of the basketball and grabbing the net can definitely do that. But that's typical of how the officiating went in this game.

@@KingofDiamonds85 The net isn't part of the rim, so let's stay on topic. They must've felt him touching the net was incidental. However, it does look like he momentarily grabbed the net on the way down, so you could argue they should've called something. Double however, the shot banged off the back of the rim, and I'm very confident the brick was missing either way, so really who cares.

@@smithjoe321 I officiate basketball games and it most certainly is part of the rim, hence why you things like cylinder rules that include the net. Even if it was incidental, that doesn't matter, if it can change the trajectory of a shot, then it is goaltending. And who cares? I'm sure Devo and the team cared. I'm not saying it would have had any impact on the outcome of the game, but scoring momentum is a real thing.

@@KingofDiamonds85 Please let me know where in the official NCAA rules it states you cannot touch any part of the net while the ball is in the downward trajectory, etc or it’s considered goal tending.
