Wow, my 3 most played leaders are at bottom, and I have like a 80%+ win rate with them. good times xD I also like Cable, but I agree he is not in a good place. I will only play the 5 lowest rated leaders now, REDEMPTION! xD
What are your suggestions for improving Cable/X-Force? Personally I think what they are really lacking is tactics cards to bring them up to par with the other affiliations(for example: a Sleep Agent/Under Your Skin card would be nice to expand the affiliation) and give them something unique/interesting only they can do. What might also be nice is Leadership tactics card(for Deadpool/Wolverine/Beast?) Right now they just kindof seem like less good x-men with a leadership that is less good shadowlands😢 For Cable in particular, it breaks my heart that he's such a cool character and model, but he doesn't have any and doesn't really do anything special besides having a range 5 incinerate gun. It would help if he got even just one of these changes: -a medium move -the ability to pay power and add dice to dial up the damage of his plasma rifle attack -Make his leadership an added dice instead of a reroll, and maybe being for any roll once per character per turn, not just attacks -his Omega Level Threat throw affecting terrain AND characters, and/or being able to pay up to 5 to throw size 5 -making the Telekinetic Shield 1 power to add cover -reduce the cost of his spender, make it only damage enemies, and maybe even heal allies -or do nothing and just lower his threat to a 4 or even 3 with less health But I'm curious to hear what someone whose been able to use them successfully thinks
@@RichMidGaming Fair enough if you don't want a hard reset on Cable, but let's be honest, being the only leader of a faction that has zero good/original tactics cards, having none himself is what is weighing him down the most and would be the simplest way to fix the character and the affiliation as a whole. He needs something to make him worth 5 threat or just worth taking in general besides just being cool. Like for example how Eye in the Sky is a faction defining card for SHIELD that functions essentially as a second leadership on top of the two effect leadership they already have. Yet Nick Fury is: only a 4 threat, has grunts, his spender is WAY undercosted while also possibly generating a power back, has access to 7 other affiliation tactics cards before you even count the cards his roster can bring, and an affiliated roster X-force can only dream of.

If Rhino's card This is a Robbery were given to Cable instead it would instantly make him more playable and more interesting to play. Rhino is great, but becomes near S tier with that card. If X force got a card pack of unique and powerful abilities it would place them in the middle of the pack or atleast make them competitive and more importantly; interesting. Their leadership is basically irrelevant, and they don't have any gimmick that does anything to differentiate them from playing an unaffiliated team, but with character restrictions. There's nothing unique that X-Force does that makes them feel like an affiliation. The leaderships of Kingpin, Fury, Magneto, etc change the way you pick rosters and fundamentally play the game, and on top of that they each bring unique cards that can completely shift the momentum mid-fight. X-Force sadly has none of that.
I really like these data driven charts. I've started consolidating affiliations and I have a decent spectrum of thriving and struggling which is kind of nice for variety.

Really great breakdown and discussion. I got into the game to play sentinels. They weren't the best but I have a few lists that are respectable I think. I have branched out to play spider foes and I have really been enjoying them
I think an addition to this sort of recap would be to look at a shorter period of time and show the stats for that. For instance, what the stats have been since Emma Frost released. It would help see how certain releases are affecting the data.
As far as Baron Strucker Hydra goes, for me, Arnim Zola makes the team go. Rerolling dice from Hydra Engineering and then being able to pass off the bleed from his power is amazing.
I think for Blade you should have mentioned that the stat might be little scewed as they got big new shake up with iHulk. Not gonna say they are gonna top the charts, but they might start climbing the ranks when iHulk has gotten more games. Also I think Malekith might still be little high because it is a bit of a noob stomper. So there might be little higher win rate because of matches vs. less experienced players. Still good info to have. Do you think gettin more Rogue Agents could help the small affiliations as a band aid? I mean Winter Soldier and Taskmaster already exist but maybe some 4 Threat that would have little more effect. (Ok Winter Soldier can have massive effect but anyway) Maybe even a 5 Threat with Grunts or something to bring up model count. Just food for thought.
Was going to comment about Blade/Sons. The splits before/after Immortal Hulk are: Pre - 38% Win Rate Post - 46% Win Rate Clearly one model/a few cards can have a big impact to balance out some of these weaker affiliations
Hey Rich... What changes are you talking about..?? I haven't seen anything on AMG's website.. is it something NOT on their website.. Was it a change in Crisis or Tactics.. please let me know.. I haven't played in awhile.. the LGS is picky, they have a "New-Hotness" phase.. then whenever AMG comes out with a local fave, people wanna play again, but then we get things like Card Pack 2022.. or something else, that you have hinted at.. So, please, elaborate on the changes since the new Crisis cards of 2022.. Thanks, Jason
I'll be alone in saying this, but I think Defenders are better than what their win-rate shows 😅. I also think the lack of TT cards isn't their main issue, it's their in-affiliation 4 threats. Get those Defenders games in folks 😉
Rich_Mid Gaming IMO If anyone is playing in this meta, then it makes no sense to me to play sentinels. Strictly on the fact that maliketh is running wild and can throw the sentinels, and with shield being the main counter to maliketh, all their physical attacks make short work of them. Not to mention, you are ALWAYS forced to play at least 1 mk4 that really doesn't feel like he does anything. Throw in random downsides like thanos being able to teleport them, they have not great damage output, bad leadership, and they are weak to most meta characters like pyro, rhino with robbery, mags, juggs, hulk and the other formentioned models. It's just a really bad time. They really aren't seeing play in the meta, and the statistics reflect that, but at least they are a fun, iconic team.

Small move, 3 physical defense, small move 😂, 4 die builders so bad. You can just run away from them and win on scenario. X-Men, Wakanda, and Webs can run laps em.

I think if Cable had one more dice to his builder and his leadership was once per attack he would be perfectly fine
