Very sad to see all those amazing planes in a graveyard! It was great to see them again, especially the KLM MD-11! Awesome video nonetheless! Great filming of all those classics! I sure liked this one :)
Great video of an aviation era gone by, lots of 747's and dc-10's , md-11, would've been nice to dc-8's and l-1011's, and I do know they have a rare gem there a well preserved Convair-880 maybe 2
Thanks a lot for watching! I travel to Mojave Airport for a second time, and to Victorville Airplanes Graveyard as well, the video's are in my Main RUclips Channel. Link's below. It´s understandable that many old models like MD-11 are there...But me and my son, as aviation lovers, were surprised by the amount of abandoned 747-800...Why? They don´t seem too old, instead they look brand new painted and in good condition - if someone knows the reason why they ended up there, please tell us! Thanks for the video!
A lot of this airplanes, or most of them have been flying for over 15 to 20 plus years. Airlines are moving to 2 engines airplanes as Boeing 787, 777 and Airbus A350's, as airlines save a lot of money on fuel.
Those are 747-400's. Google Delta retirement of first one made in 1989 sometime in 2015 with 61 MILLION miles--enough to go to moon and back 250 times!! The very well used girl is in the Delta museum in Atlanta, even though she started in Northwest livery (who Delta purchased in 2006).
I suspect most of the aircraft in this video are destined to be dismantled. There are still a number of retired 747’s which are probably available elsewhere for purchase, but not to many if any in this video. These are in the process of being salvaged for parts and materials. They have entered their last revenue service operation as scrap. Even as wrecks, 747’s are still graceful looking and pretty aircraft. They just have the right look to them.
Badger emergency responses Yes, that was airport security car. As far as walking around inside the airport, you will not be able to do that. And that's the reason that I had to do this from the outside.
AIRPLANES AT NIGHT WHISPER TO EACH OTHER ABOUT THEIR RETIREMENT AM SADDENED ME BRITISH AIRWAYS A STUNNING AIRLINE IN FACT ALL AIRLINES ARE TOO JUST LEFTED TO DIE IN A DESERT QUIET AT NIGHT IF THEY WHISPER OR JUST SLEEP TILL DAY LIT CANNOT YET FIND THE AIRPLANE GRAVE YARD WITH THE BIG SIGN I CAN'T THINK OF THE NAME OF IT CAN ANYONE HELP
Most likely you can buy them, but they are not going to be cheap. And its going to be a hassle to transport as well. Any way, huge thanks for watching!
AWESOME BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY! Someone should buy this land with all these beautiful planes, patch them up and start a new airline! I'd even keep the same paint and hire pilots that are retired or have been fired! "BARGAIN AIR" cheapest flights in the world!
They are too expensive to operate, and most of this planes are over 20 years old. They look that they are younger, but they are not. They have been changing hands, from one airline to another. Just the paint job on them is the young thing on them. Rest in peace...

***** Big thanks for watching, and for your kind words!
Sad, but that's life. Planes die and new will be born. ;-)
Nice footage mate!
walkbyfeet Very true, big thanks for watching!
It's really sad being that they will never turn their engines on and fly ever again. May they rest in peace
Kai Nalu That is very true. But just like an old car, eventually you will replace it with a brand new one. Thanks for watching and for your comment!

Very nice enjoyed
After all these years I still can't get over 747s.
747s world most of b747-400 are in good condition sad to see this
Most airlines that have planes with 4 engines, are moving on to 2 engines. Thanks for watching!
Those old 747-400s can be upgraded into 747-400LR by adding additional fuel tank to increase its range
sad to see these planes go to waste😔
This airplanes are about 15 to 30 years old, they look to be newer, but they have been flying for a very long time. Thanks for watching!
what is the gulfstream doing there
Looking at all the planes you can real see what jumbo is ✈💖
Thanks a lot for watching!
Two BAC 1-11 as well. Close to the end.

They are in their final days. No one will buy them, they cost too much to fly, and maintenance will eat more money...
Can we see the cabine view
where did you stand to take this video please? was it on the road inside the airport? Thanks
Was the car at the start a sucurity car, can you just wander in

Ah thanks =D

Most of this planes are old. Most likely about 15 years old or older. Thanks for watching!

Thanks a lot for watching!
Can anybody buy one of those planes since they're not being flown anymore. I would love to have one converted into a home, its different
Most likely you can buy them, but they are not going to be cheap. And its going to be a hassle to transport as well. Any way, huge thanks for watching!
Thai B747- 400 vẫn còn mới.
Most of this airplanes have been flying for at least 15 to 20 plus years.
