The website says the Baofeng Wearable Antenna Package is not compatible with the UV9R Plus, but I want to confirm before ordering that it IS compatible with the UV9R pro. Thanks!
@@caatailantennas8914 It seems to be pretty secure and doesn't effect seating depth enough to matter. When I put it on i got it hand tight and them added another 1/8th of a turn with pliers. Didn't seem like it was overly tight and nothing disintegrated.
I just bought and received the Baofeng setup. It’s intended for use with a UV-S9PLUS. Inexplicably (at this point), I can’t get a signal out. Looking forward to troubleshooting that. Also, I’d like to order a couple of adaptors for the Yaesu FT-65 and FT1X but can’t seem to be able to pinpoint the correct adapter. As soon as I can find out, I’ll be ordering 2 for each of the Yaesus, along with 2 more for the UV-S9PLUS as spares. Sorry for my inability to work out this stuff on my own and thanks for your help.
Yes, SMA-F is the adaptor you will need. Depending on the UV82 you may need the small walled adapter or you may need to sand down the texture of the baofeng adapter to get it to screw in all the way.
I've purchased 4 of the wearable antennas from you and they're great. We're thinking about running two radios per person on GMRS frequencies... can the antennas be routed together, or do they need to be as far apart as possible?
Thanks for the support! I would not recommend crossing paths between two antennas. But, if you spaced things out right it could be done effectively (an example that popped in my head is a radio under both armpits, wearable antenna routed along both cummerbund sides and then up the back pannel or pack on either side without intersecting paths).
Hi ... I am looking to purchase a wearable antenna for my BAOFENG UV-5X (UV-5G) GMRS Radio. Can you direct me to which antenna I should get that is tuned to GMRS frequencies and the proper adaptor? Many thanks!
I know we already talked via email, but for anyone else reading the UV-5X(UV-5G) has a SMA-F port so it will need a SMA-M adapter (can be purchased along or with an antenna via the "hotshot antenna package")
I have a baofeng bf-f8hp radio and I’m needing a relocation kit for my k19 carrier setup. I have a gooseneck antenna I will be using that screws into the radio fine. Which one of your uparmored kits do I need?
If you want to continue to use your SMA-F gooseneck antenna you would need the SMA-M (antenna end) tipped relocation cable. The relocation cable is BNC-M (radio end), so you would also need a BNC-F to SMA-F adapter.
YUT! Happy Birthday!
Great products and nice shirt (I designed that)!
The fly it like you stole it shirt??

Just got my antennas, the baofeng adapter is perfect for the Ailunce.
Glad to hear! Does the O-ring hold it in-place well?

How well does the SMA-M to BNC-F fit the Yaesu FT-60R? Assuming I'll need some O-rings to fill the gap?
Fits great and includes an O-ring.

Hello, sorry for just now noticing your comment. shoot me an email at caatailantennas@gmail.com
What adapter do you recommend for an Ailunce HD1?
Looks like the baofeng adapter will fit just fine on it. Measure the port just to make sure.
@@caatailantennas8914 Port is 9/16 give or take.
what adapter works with a wouxon kg-935g plus?
following! just ordered one today, looking for upgrades
Hi,
I want to use my Motorola APX 7000 inside a room.
I would love to receive a recommendation for a long antenna + adapter.
Thank you!
Hello! For a APX7000, I would recommend using one of our up-armored Motorola antenna relocation kits.
I’m pretty late here, but would one of your antennae work for SDR?
Yes! or if you would like to use a stick antenna, I offer durable relocation kits on the website.
Which adapter for a Motorola xts5000?
Small Walled
I just bought the "Small Walled" Adaptor w/ Wearable Antenna. I have an APX 7000 radio. Will this work with my radio?
The "Small Walled" adapter fits the APX7000 radio but what frequency range are you running on?
I just checked with my radio guy our main channels are 153-174MHz. I think I ordered the 600-900. Can I change the order?
@@alejandrogutierrez4038 I just had it changed.

What adapter can I use with an ASIP
BNC-M tipped antenna without any adaptor.
