I didn’t have a father like Phil Robertson so I truly hope y’all never take him for granted.Because Phil has been a true follower of Jesus he has become the greatest leader that I have ever seen in my life time. Phil and his family played a big role in helping me retain the knowledge of God so I could turn from my wicked ways and I have. I tried sharing the gospel with my father and he said I am just one man what can I do. I replied look at Phil Robertson and all of his descendants.I know Phil knows he has been rewarded in this life but I truly believe his rewards in the next life I’m going to be on comprehendible. So thank you Robertson family for spreading the gospel I love y’all. And Jace lol I know you’re 50 years old now and you are wise but keep listening to your father because he is still very wise.
I'm 41 years old... never been a Godly man... until very recently. I've been trying to get right with my creator.. and I admit, I have a filthy mouth.. I've cussed for most of my life... I don't do it all the time, but it comes out when I get angry. (Another issue I've been asking God to help me with). I'm doing all this on my own.. I've started to read the Bible in hopes that I can understand God's teachings. This is all very new to me... But you guys have helped pushed me in the right direction, so thank you. I just hope the big guy upstairs sees that I'm trying.
Up to this series(#58) in my Covid sequestering. I even ordered the Duck Dynasty collection & on season 10. As another gift to me, I ordered Torchbearer. Cant wait to watch this movie!
I am truly blessed by these podcasts. I'm a Auto Hauler and being able to listen to numerous podcasts while driving every day fills my soul with hope. I've learned so much about the Bible from the Robertson clan. I challenge anyone who listens to these podcasts to tell just 1 person, can you imagine how fast we could see the word of God spread and we pray to Jesus for forgiveness, we're supposed to tell the world about Jesus Christ. That is what the Robertson's are doing.
I work evenings all by myself and enjoy hearing your podcast to keep me company. Enjoy hearing about metal detecting. I've been doing that for quite a few years. Metal detecting is like a person's life. You can sort through all the junk and always come up with the treasure.
My grandfather stuck a hatchet in a small tree and forgot about it. Well the tree grew and It's now 20 feet in the air still stuck in the tree 50 years later.
I was raised in the swamp near Lake Okeechobee so I can relate! currently I live in Spokane Wa. I am so thankful for your guys podcast and Southern way of delivering His Word! Makes me feel like I belong! Thank you so much!
This family is an example for everyone. The videos get better and better as you go along. You each have such valuable things to say. But for me to see a family ... a whole family that follows Jesus... well that just witnesses to my soul like nothing else. I’m probably one of thousands who would love to be in this family. Imagine being raised by the bible! Thank you for representing the Lord for all of us to see. Praise God for such examples.
I'm desperate!! I listen to y'all on a daily basis, you have no idea how much you guys helped me with my Faith but please do a podcast on marriage!! Marriis the toughest thing I have ever experienced.. I'm Jerry From Washington!!
Cursing came easy for me before I was Born Again. But when I became a Christian in 1974 it almost went away. (Still a sinner, maybe a slip once a year) I found myself saying “Kapok” for “S” word and when someone did something dumb I would call them a “Nimrod”. I eventually taught HS for 35 years and was always calling the kids on it. I have lived a good life! Did what God called me to do! God bless you guys and the Unashamed Ministry! -Bob
Cussing is a vice for me too sadly. I grew up with it as hearing it as a kid, and I try not to say them, but sometimes they just slip out or come out before I know it, I done said it, and I hate it
What a great object lesson that bent quarter makes for how we get grafted into the kingdom. No matter how different we may be, our nature can still be bent in the direction of and become a part of God's family
The three cent coin was minted because that was the cost of postage in that day. The Mint Mark is not a zero, as Jase said, but an “O” for New Orleans. It was only minted in New Orleans for one year, 1851, before it was moved to Philadelphia and so the rest of the years the Mint Mark was “P”. That’s what makes it rare and this valuable. Also, it is not a “star of David” On the coin but just a star with no religious meaning.
Thanks for another great video. About 8 years ago I started metal detecting. Its a fun hobby. I have found many items over the years. One of the things I enjoy is researching the items I find. What is it? How old could it be? I like finding old farm tools and equipment. I try to paint it and put it on my wall. I love hunting my old family farm. Its really neat finding things my family may have used. My church was formed in the 1800's and we're not sure of the location. I hope to located the site someday. It would be cool to find something to frame and put on the wall at church.
Great show gentlemen. And nice detector. Used to love going through the garbage pits around the closed gold mines when backpacking in northern California.
😎 this is better than the Duck Dynasty y’all have a great time together. Jase I saw that, someday phill will be gone from this realm and you will feel bad about it. Bless you all thank you for the time that you give us. Ephesians 6.2
Nice video guys! "If you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding. If you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God." proverbs 2:3-5
Congratulations on your granddaughter getting baptized Al and what makes it even more special is her great grandfather ( Papaw Phil ) baptized her . I did get to watch Mr. Jase's sermon and it was so good . I didn't know that metal detecting was biblical . My grandfather loved to go metal detecting . I had a birthday party years ago for my son when he was a little boy at a park and my grandfather brought his metal detector . He was digging around in the dirt and lost his pocket knife . We looked and looked for it that day and never found it . He has since passed away . I think I will take my husband's metal detector over to that park and look for it one more time . Now that I know God will be apart of this.... I have faith that he'll help me find it . I would love to have it back . My grandfather ( my Pawpaw ) ment so much to me . He and my grandmother (my Granny ) were good Christians . They were a big part of my life . They helped me find the Lord when I was a little girl . Thank you so much for sharing this Podcast . God bless you all !!
enjoyed todays podcast about the treasure hunting reminded of my late husband he would love to see that property he was a "collector" /hoarder lol he would enjoy you guys
JASES sermon, was a classic, for me the first time I've heard a reference to ZZ TOP,the tune "A well dressed Man"? & yes jase you did look sharp, only advice would be toss the black beanie, always over ya eyes, take an example from Phil?
I listen to Hannity on the radio once in a while. He makes a living talking, which I have a hard time looking up to. Hearin a God fearing group of men speak well of him makes me want to give him a second chance. It's not that I don't agree with things he says, he just spends so much time talking politics, I wonder if there's any joy in his life. Thanks for the Podcast. I've traveled down your way and did a little metal detecting. Most places protect their ground, so I stick to the beach. Me and Jesus are like brothers so I've been drawn to your shows. Any friend of His. We visited your town, ate in your restaurant and bought a call in your shop and some t-shirts.Went into your special room in the restaurant and sat in your chairs. Good to see Godly families do well.
Hey Jase , for metal detector newbies, what metal detector do we need to look at picking up that will work and provide good results? Christ’s love from the Suwannee 😎
I have a question?.. I tend to lean more towards the side that taking Gods name in vain has more to do with telling the world you live like Christ but really don’t...I would think it’s pretty obvious that you don’t “curse” God!..least ye feel his wrath!!!...NO true Christian would curse God...nor would they profess the name of Jesus then NOT live that way behind closed doors!..so my question is this not what was meant by “thou shoult not take the Lord thy God tha fathers name in vain”?..thank you again Phil jase and Al for streaming the love and knowledge Jesus has given you ALL...and may the Lord God Jesus bless you and each and every person that watches!..
You could be right. My guess is that if we were to understand the depth of meaning of each command and try to earn salvation by keeping every jot and tiddle we would find that all men sin and fall short. (O yeah, we do ).
Jase, you have what they call a Trime. It sounds like an 1851 O. Its the only year with a mint mark and they minted 720,000 of them. Good condition is worth about $50 and value varies depending on condition all the way up to mint state condition which is worth $500. The star is in fact not the star of David. Its about 75% silver. Great find!
There's a wonderful young Christian man who does treasure hunting his name is Nuggetnoggin and has a wonderful RUclips channel! Check him out! His real name is Michael Bennett, we've been watching him for years and he is the best! And he loves the Lord!
Acts 8:36-38 36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? 37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. 38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
Jase your sermons was fabulous... i had to chuckle when you got a little passionate about what you were preaching and you got a bit loud. After talking about Phil last episode... :) Great discussion... I used to curse - I grew up with Christian examples and pastors that regularly cursed, ut as my walk with God got so very strong I realized that if we are going to walk the walk and talk the talk we need to abide by it all not picking and choosing what we want to follow from the Bible! It is a choice and once you make that decision it isn’t as hard to follow! God all the way! Here is a little funny.... ruclips.net/video/aHGbKuZzq3E/видео.html Continued prayers for you and your families and your ministries! Thanks for all you do... God bless!
Love today about the bad words I do little cussing so when I do my kids and grandkids say GaGa ,their name for me. But my older sister cusses like a sailor guess a saying back when. So I ask her not to cuss .Her answer is its who I am so I plan to use your words to try again to help her stop. Love the past I hate when they tear down old buildings or homes. My Great-Grandpa came form Germany and helped do the wood work in the old Kirby mansion in Monticello Illinios. The Kirby family left it to the town and was turned into the hospital.Myself and siblings where all born their. But several years ago they tore it down and built a modern hospital. I have a drawing of the mansion and love it. I heard what phil said when he remarked he wonder who dropped the coin .Someday we will be gone and maybe our grandbabies will wonder about us. I try telling my children stories my dad and grandma told me. Our faith is strong when we pass it down to our children ,God Bless You and yours .
Sue Donath I used to cuss like a sailor...... A generational curse, that came down of sin, from the adults in the family.... In High School, a teacher even wrote in my yearbook......If I ever hear anyone cussing in my classroom, I’ll turn around and expect to see you!!! King Jesus Said to me one day....... Those Words, are the language of Hell......If you want to be there with those people? Then keep on speaking that way........We only speak Blessing up here.......😇 I tell ya, that sobered me up...... Unfortunately, it’s not sobering up family members, I have reminded them, for year’s, of this encounter I had with God and they just keep on rebelling..... The abode of darkness, is a cursed place......They curse God constantly.....even tho it’s their Own Choices that Landed them There!!! Hope this Testimony, Helps your sister! Blessings 🌹📖🌹 The Lord’s carpentress 🎸🔨
Nice show. Jase needs to do some more research on what to do with relics and antiques. You are going to be on the losing end of things if you don't get your act together, from a professional point of view, on how to treat your findings. Even a nickel that seems just a nickel could have striking errors on it that would make the one you scratched to death a multi thousand dollar piece. Get prepared, we suggest. Also, could you please let Mr. Phil talk more on his show. TRUMP/PENCE 2020
I played a video game and would talk online to my guild mates (ventrilo). I got so I said Son of a biscuit eater while others dropped the F bomb. Thought it at least was a step in the right direction when the one who cussed a lot used my biscuit eater saying.
My dad NEVER cusses. The worst word I have ever heard my dad say when he’s mad is ACE. I asked him about it once and he told me that he doesn’t cuss in front of women ever but he might around his men friends. Women that cuss like sailors my dad isn’t to fond of.
Wouldn't it be cool to metal-detect the bottom of the Red (or Reed) Sea and find the chariots of the Egyptian army that got swallowed up chasing the Israelites? I don't know how much (if any) they used metal in chariots back then, but it's a fun thought.
Often times when folks talk about "lost souls"...there is a false perception in the sense of them being "God forsaken" or "utterly abandoned"....they are "LOST"....oh poor sinners...woe unto the lost! But the woman who lost a coin and searched until she found it (Luke 15:8-10), well, she searched for it because it had VALUE. "Lost souls" have VALUE to God the Father, and Christ says he came to seek and to save that which was lost....because the "lost sheep" is PRECIOUS to the shepherd....not "God forsaken" or poor sinners "utterly abandoned".....think about it. PRECIOUS and VALUABLE ! You don't "lose" garbage....you LOSE your car and house keys, or wedding ring...because they have great VALUE, and you want to find them because of their value ! I too enjoy metal detecting, and really liked this particular episode, and thought I'd share what I've said here....God Bless!
37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil. Matthew 5:37 KJV Saying words that you are using instead of a cuss word is kin to cussing. We should not do either. It is a bad witness to others, especially children. It is a bad habit and we should really discourage it, not make excuses for it.
I know that God had a plan for my life and I am trying my best to walk in His will. I only wish I had a real man in my life weather dad, granddad, great grand pa. I wasnt blessed with them. I went through being abandoned by both parents left with family at least but both my grand mothers were single no man for me to look up too. Lived with a couple aunts who had husbands but they weren't godly one I heard was mean dont remember him the second I saw him put his hands on her violently many times, one man sexually abused me for many years. Finally ran away at 16 after a few failed relationships and met a guy who was my age and ended up dating getting pregnant at 18 spent 10 years with him and he was evil I know he had satan in his heart I went through many nights of abuse from punching me in the chest, smacking my head into walls or popping my head between his hands. I left that relationship thinking I was worthless BUT and I say but GOD was with me He knew me in my mothers womb it took me almost 30 years to reach out to God and accept Him and His word BEST day of my life. The old has gone and the New is here I am a new creation. God has been my rock. I am thankful for the Robertson's and their love for God. Thanks for sharing Al, Jase and Phil! God bless you all.
Any word that you are substituting in for The Lord's name is equally wrong whether it is saying gosh or golly or anything that has the initials of the Lord's name it doesn't matter, saying it flippantly is wrong.
I don't see words like 'crap' or 'sh*t' as being words of curse. Curse words no matter the specificity are those which are directed toward a person in a destructive way. Don't curse toward people no matter what you say because the attitude behind the words is what is wrong. Filthy language is also wrong because of the attitude behind the words. So it's not WHAT you say, it's HOW you say it. So many get this wrong and it's not different from drinking alcohol or any other sin. Drinking wine, beer, whiskey, is not wrong, being drunk is. Eating is not wrong, stuffing your face until you're sick is a sin. Excessive and negative behavior is sinful. Love, grace and peace to all, in Jesus' name.
Brothers, I had an experience on a forum of which I was a contributing member relative to sewing activities. One of the other commenters was constantly taking God's name in vain and it bothered me. I had a discussion with the managing member of the forum, but that person was unwilling to say anything. In private, I wrote to the person using God's name in vain, writing to her in a very kind manner, but expressing quite clearly that I did not approve of that language and that I would not participate in a forum where that language was constantly used. I'm thankful to say that this person accepted my request and the language is no longer on the forum. Did I do the right thing? Or could I have handled it better?
Trevor Holland that’s cool! I’m sure it’s the real thing because you know your area. Lots of naive people have been taken advantage of by old rusty shot puts.
Revelation 1:5-6 5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Yeah that's why I have a Samsung although my father's got a flip phone and is uncontactable 99% of the time I am starting to believe it's the way to go

I really liked this podcast episode. Jase was so excited talking about his hobby of metal detecting and his findings.
My grandfather stuck a hatchet in a small tree and forgot about it. Well the tree grew and It's now 20 feet in the air still stuck in the tree 50 years later.
I've never been much for cursing in anger. I use choice words in more casual conversation and when I'm angry I usually go silent.
Colossians 3-8 is another excellent verse about your mouth. Love you guys, listen to you every Monday morning at my desk! God is good!
I was on the floor laughing when Jase was asked if he could still call that coin an INDIAN HEAD !!!Love this podcast !!
🤣👍🏽 ba ha ha! SO FUNNY
Thanks for the church service y'all. It felt good.
I went to a revival and decided that my life is only to serve and he took most of the cursing out of my mouth. God is truly healing.

I have a friend , who instead of cussin’ and he’s man of 55 + , he’ll say “ For the love of Banana Puddin’ ! “ .. thought that was cute.
Lol. That's funny and a great substitute.
@john pickering It's ok to be angry. Look what Ephesians 4:26 says "Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,"
@James Ratliff sending love and prayers to you and your family... Tourette syndrome is very hard on families. My heart goes out to y'all. 💗
When the desire to sin or curse is no longer there it leaves He gives us the desires of our heart
Absolutely love these podcasts! Keep on building the kingdom!
Good Words Phil...Soundness of Speech ,Titus...Blessings on you AL...and Jase...and your family...Love you all

Best way to clean a coin, is to let it sit in a very hot, hot sauce and then wipe clean you'll never damage the coin 👍

36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
Al or Jase for president 2024, I am serious!🙏😍 and the problem with drinking is 9 x out of 10 is your brother (any body by you) can not handle it.
I struggle with this. I'm surrounded by people that cuss all the time and it's difficult not to pick it up.
Morning from Maui
Get your tickets to come see Jase in Tallahassee, FL on March 21st here: www.backwoodsmafiagear.com/pages/jaserobertson Hope you all can make it!

I used to cuss like a sailor......
Then keep on speaking that way........We only speak Blessing up here.......😇
I tell ya, that sobered me up......
Blessings

Hi, Jase! Have you ever found Indian arrowheads or any fossils??
Jase, the little Gopher.....😂🤣😂😇
Please check on your audio, I love your podcast but find it hard to hear all the comments even with headphones
Tell Jase to research Ultrasonic Cleaner. For his relics.
My dad NEVER cusses. The worst word I have ever heard my dad say when he’s mad is ACE. I asked him about it once and he told me that he doesn’t cuss in front of women ever but he might around his men friends. Women that cuss like sailors my dad isn’t to fond of.
What was the model of mettle. Detector do you have?
What is the website Al gave to watch your service?

I have two 1944 and 1958 wheat penny.
Problem I'm having right now is spiritual warfare in my mind how do you solve it if Jesus Christ
Al, at 6:50....I HIGHLY DISAGREE!! What if I said that is GREAT!????? Meaning it really was great?? That does NOT mean “GD”!!
Any word that you are substituting in for The Lord's name is equally wrong whether it is saying gosh or golly or anything that has the initials of the Lord's name it doesn't matter, saying it flippantly is wrong.
Same with sayings such as Jerusalem crickets initials JC for Jesus Christ also wrong
Has Jase done any magnet fishing in the waters to find treasure!?
I found a wood and metal cap gun from 1900s
❤
What was the name of the plantation Jase owned .

Revelation 1:5-6
5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
