Love it! Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. God bless! Jesus is the way and saves! Psalms 62✝🤍
Dick Butkus is the most intimidating player ever.
@@Orto4956 Him or Lawrence Taylor
John Kasay definitely broke my heart against the Patriots. I remember watching that Super Bowl and couldn't believe of all the kickers in the league, he would be the one to kick it out of bounds.
Should have put Favre twice in there. Crazy Vikings interception vs the Saints
Longwell wasn't going to make it from 56 despite what Paul Allen says. That game was going into overtime no matter what.
@@sirstewartwallace3917 umm ..before the INT they had a penalty for having 12 men on the field. Also ; who knows how far Brett could have ran . Plus 5 turnovers ( one on the 2 yard line after the Saints fumble KR) didn’t help . Not to mention the Bounty on Favre- cheaters! Life of a Vikings fan. Gary’s FG wasn’t a game winner. Can blame Robert Smith for running out of bounds and stopping the clock prior to FG attempt . And the defense let Altanta Drive down for tying TD , which one defender had a sure INT.
Favre also threw a bad interception to Corey Webster in OT in their NFC Championship loss to the Giants in 2007. I remember thinking at the time, "I know Favre's got another interception in him", and sure enough ,he did.
@@birdzilla106 I was thinking that this was our comeuppance for making a deal with the devil.
I still remember the announcer’s reaction to that Favre interception

It's that damn Dan Marino's fault. He laces were in
If only he made it how history would have changed
I think Cody Parkey for the bears because that defense that year could have taken them.
Broncos should be Peyton Manning, he threw that int in 2 OT and laid a giant egg in super bowl 48.
The panthers kicker in 2003 is another option for them as his final kickoff in that superbowl went out of bounds giving the patriots great field position for their final drive where they won by field goal
Lin Elliot missing 3 FG in a 10-7 Kansas City loss to the Colts in a playoff game
I can’t believe the Falcons collapsed against the Falcons
As a Steeler, fan I would have picked Neil O'Donnell. Take away the point swing from those two picks and the Steelers likely win. They definitely had momentum going in their favor and seemed to be driving for a go ahead score before the second interception.
3:18 Jackie Smith's drop is often mentioned by people who don't know much about football. The truth is, Pittsburgh built a 35-17 lead and then went into a prevent defense the rest of the game, ultimately winning 35-31 in a game they completely dominated during the second half. If Smith had caught that TD pass, the Steelers would not have taken their foot off the gas pedal. In that scenario, Pittsburgh still wins, but likely by a score of 45-38 or 48-38.
I understand that I been watching football all my life and Superbowl 13 was a classic. The reason behind the big lead for Pittsburgh was that after the Jackie Smith drop they had to kick a FG, then after that the Steelers picked on CB Washington on the Cowboys. Finally the run Harris made up the middle the referee got in the way or Harris would of tackled him
You’re absolutely correct. The Cowboys scored 2 late TDs to make it look close.
To this day, all Steelers fans call Rashard Mendenhall by this name. Rashard Fumbles. Steele or fans can't get over that one. We were so close to our 7th 🥺.
Buffalo Bills fans will never ever ever ever be willing to stomach not only Scott Norwood in Super Bowl vs Giants Wide Right I then Wide Right II Tyler Bass in the Divisional Round vs Chiefs 2023 1:39
Norwood had never made a kick from that far away on grass before SBXXV. It's not like a Gary Anderson situation where he missed an easy kick, Norwood's would have been a PB if he had made it. He gets too much grief for the loss. If only the Bills had gotten two or three yards closer, he would have been a hero.
Tps video right when I get out of school!
I can’t believe Neil O’ Donnell wasn’t on this for Pittsburgh. Those two interceptions where terrible!
Exactly! Any Steelers fan who grew up watching in the 90s knows Neil deserves this award.
Favre is on here for Super Bowl 32 even though GB’s defense couldn’t stop TD; but O’Donnell not making the list for giving the Cowboys the game doesn’t make sense.
I mean Larry Brown was wide open.
It is pretty shocking. There were people at the time who insisted he took a dive in that game because those INTs were so terrible!
I am 69 years old. Lifelong Packers fan. ALL of those great years. SO many yards and TD's. AND ONE title: And the kick returner was the MVP? That tells A LOT about Favre.
Eli manning rapping made me die
HOLD ME BACK
Bro that was the point of him rapping
Cripes, how much more overrated can you get than Eli Manning?
I thought it was bad ass to be honest
Was that actually Eli Manning?
Asante Samuel should be there for New England instead of Wes Welker. The pass that Manning threw, before throwing to Tyree, landed right in Samuel’s chest, right in between the numbers, but Samuel wasn’t able to hold on to the ball, had he held on the perfect season would’ve been preserved
I didn't realize his chest was over his head.
@@mythicaldakka what’s that got to do with it ?
@@schnuurtchke The delusion that it was a catchable ball. It was a leaping, almost full extension attempt.
@@mythicaldakka it was a perfectly catchable ball, didn’t you see the game ?
@@schnuurtchke I did. It was not a perfectly catchable ball, that's an excuse delusional fans keep telling themselves so they have someone to blame. You've even deluded yourself into thinking it hit him in the numbers.
Wes Welker is a receiver. He gets paid to catch the ball. He had both hands firmly on the ball in Super Bowl 46 and dropped it.
Asante Samuel is a cornerback. He does not get paid to catch the ball, he gets paid to break up passes; a catch is a bonus. Also, even if he had gotten a hold of it I'm not sure he was in bounds. Somehow everyone's forgotten the old wisdom "if he could catch he would have been a receiver."
I blame Shanahan for the SB54 loss. When Mahomes made that big 3rd down conversation to Hill, the 49ers had timeouts and their defense was gassed. They were all standing there during huddle looking tired. I know you don't want to waste timeouts but if I remember correctly the game ended with 49ers having timeouts available.
So you may be partially right, but the team who deserves most credit for that loss is Patrick Mahones. He’s an absolute freak and showed up as one in the biggest game.
Are you talking about the 3rd and 15 play Bosa was held on?
That actually gives me a video idea: “One coaching decision from each NFL team that cost them a Super Bowl”. Maybe not all of them because teams like the Texans are not good enough to be a bad coaching decision away from a Super Bowl.
Blame him again now, not going for it to win
Steelers: neil o'donnell in SB 30.
Cornerback who gave up those long TD passes against the chargers in 1994 AFC championship game, Tim McKeyer i think was who it was.
Kordell Stewart in both 1997 and 2001 AFC championship games.
Big Ben and the defense in 2004 AFC championship game.
@TPS I don't get how you "blame" that Super Bowl 32 loss on Brett Favre. Favre threw for 3 TDS and only 1 INT, and actually out dueled John Elway who by the way, barely threw for over 100 yards, had zero thrown TDs, 1 INT, and only a running TD.
This in fact, actually puts Favre into the incredibly small percentages of QBs in the Super Bowl who performed far better than their opponents QB, but yet, still lost.
The Defense of the Green Bay Packers Lost that Super Bowl because they allowed Terrell Davis to run for 157 yards on the ground + 3 TDs, I mean, come on, Favre can't play defense too.
I would have said the special teams player that botched the onside kick recovery against the Seahawks. I forget the year.
Dan Fouts was a great excellent intelligent at QB but it's not his fault in 1981 AFC Title Game vs Bengals it's the fact that after the Epic In Miami the Chargers is not use to cold weather games like that 6:24
For the Falcons I'm still salty at Devonta Freeman no-efforting a block that resulted in a sack & fumble ...
If Neil ODonnell isn’t on here I will be mad
I haven't watched who the Chargers player is, but I think it could be the man who fumbled an interception against the Patriots in 2006.
Edit: We were both wrong.
Before the video started I instantly guessed Jackie Smith for Dallas Earnest Byner for Cleveland Norwood for Buffalo and Neil O'Donnell for Pitt. How can this video forget him finding a wide open Larry Brown
@@deaniart Yeah, I was so mad the Chargers blew that game
When I saw who they chose for the Steelers I was like, "What?" The 2 pic 6's were wayyy worse.
The answer will always be Neil O'Donnell
To be 200% really real here Russell Wilson is reason Malcolm Butler became famous of the interception onto the Seahawks offense like literally 10:38
No one will forgive Wilson for that
Jackie Smith OH BLESS HIS HEART HE'S GOT TO BE THE SICKEST MAN IN AMERICA 3:20
Jackie Smith's Drop in the Super Bowl in 1978 vs Steelers is the one of the most if not the greatest reasons why he screwed the Dallas Cowboys for not able to win the Super Bowl at that moment 0:15
He retired right after the game if I heard correctly
McCree shoulda been on here for the Chargers, if he went down after that INT then SD woulda gone to the SB
You really put rookie Joe Flacco who fought one of the best defenses in 2008 over veterans Lee Evans or Billy Blowit?
The Panthers is by far John Kasay.
Farve could have been on this list twice if you count his playoff losing INT with Minnesota. But I will admit that John Madden's Commentator curse is far more memorable.
5 overrated hyped players and 5 underrated hyped players performances from the 2023 NFL season
The Panthers was John Kasay kickoff going out of bounds
For Washington, I’d choose Joe Theismann’s screen pass that Jack Squirek intercepted for a pick-6 which made a game go from a manageable 14-3 to 21-3 just before halftime.
no surprise for the lions pick
Russell Wilson Whyyy didn't you give the ball to Marshawn Lynch? Seriously why couldn't you give it to Beast Mode on the right side in that damn Super Bowl vs Patriots in 2014 man????? 10:31
Because Pete Carroll told them to pass it. Looking back it's a bad call cause it didn't work. But it was second down with short yardage and they had the best rb in the league at the time. Everyone expected them to run it. They also had over 20 seconds left. They had time for at least one but maybe two quick passes or throwaways and they'd catch the D off guard. It was the perfect time to throw it. If it woulda worked nobody woulda questioned it. But alas it didn't and the rest is history.
Love your video TPS and keep up the great work you are awesome
All of Steelers nation still hates Rashard Mendenhall
For the Patriots i would’ve picked Asante Samuel he dropped a game winning interception
I’d say Super Bowl 53 was more a Brandin Cooks blame game cause he dropped a wide open pass in the end zone also
I disagree I think it was more on Jared goff he wasn't getting anything going he missing wide open passes lots of miscommunication
I am just so happy you said remmer's instead of cam for the panthers. Thank god someone else was watching.
Its like remmers never showed up that day
Definitely should be Asante Samuels for the Patriots
Antrel rolle got in the way of Larry on the James Harrison pick
honorable mentions Ray Finkle,
LACES OUT!
Laces out!
Freddie Mitchell might be a better pick for the Eagles. If he hadn't trash talked the Patriots before the game, the Eagles might have had a stronger chance of winning the game.
Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. God bless! Jesus is the way and saves! Psalms 62✝🤍
For the Bengals, I’d have chosen Lewis Billups dropping what should have been an interception in the end zone of Super Bowl XXIII against the 49ers. After the drop, Jerry Rice scores a touchdown.
Yeah Dee Ford is definitely who comes to mind first.
This could be the 5th Super Bowl in 6 years😞😞😞
Please not Mendenhall, he’ll be crying racism for another 10 years…Neil ODonnell is the better case anyway.
Or blaming Ben for his fumble.
Let’s be honest it should be Jerry jones for the cowboys
In my opinion andy Reid was the reason the eagles lost. It doesn't have to be a player for a team to lose.
I will probably have several objections here but your Ravens one is WRONG! There was an AFCCG game they had against the Pats where the receiver dropped a go ahead TD at the end of the game and then their field goal kicker botched a chip shot to tie the game. That should be on here. The Steelers D just was better in 2008.
Came here for this too. Billy Cundiff.
Billy Cundiff, Lamar Jackson and Zay Flowers would all make better sense for the Ravens than Flacco.
Although I think out of those three Cundiff
Antrel Rolle should have been mentioned because he tripped up Larry Fitz during the Jame Harrison pick 6.
How isn’t the Bengals Lewis Billups?
An extreme case of recency bias. Without Eli Apple keeping Cheetah out of the end zone at the end of the first half of the Chiefs, the Bengals don't get to the Super Bowl.
No Billy Cundiff for the Ravens?
Yes, or the receiver who dropped the go-ahead touchdown before that botched field goal
Like Scott Norwood in Buffalo Gary Anderson for Minnesota in 1998 was only one kick just simple easy realistic of a kick away from going to the Super Bowl BUT he missed it missed it to the LEFT 122 made kicks without a miss until that day and ever since then thing's was never ever ever ever the same again 7:33
Baltimore Ravens: Billy Cundiff. I can't give Joe Flacco a hard time because it was his rookie season and he vastly surpassed expectations. I knew the Ravens would eventually win a Super Bowl with him as our quarterback and he did.
Lee Evans or Billy Cundiff would have been a better choice than Flacco.
Considering that he was facing a Steelers defense that was tops in the league as a rookie no less, there were easier choices that could have been chosen.
I would have said this was a bad choice, but this is the same channel that graded Kyle Hamilton a C+. So...
Don’t blame Eli or Wilson or anyone. You win as a team lose as a team. Plus cooper Kupp is awesome
Nah for the bengals it was Quentin Spain If he held Aaron Donald for 2 more seconds would’ve found chase wide open down the field for the touchdown and the first ever Super Bowl for the bengals
for the chargers why would you select Dan Fouts who's bad game came in the AFC Championship game, with no ability to know what they would have done in the Super Bowl instead of Stan Humprhries who completed less than 50% of his passes and threw 2 picks in Super Bowl 29? And the Vikings? A franchise that's lost 4 Super Bowls and you pick the guy that couldn't get them there? Ridiculous
as much as Apple is easy to dislike he had a really solid year that year and Kupp burned basically everyone lined up against him all year
Remmers for the Panthers? No its Cam, he showed absolutely ZERO HUSTLE in that SB
Neil O'Donnell: Not only did he throw two of the worst interception in Superbowl history, the ONE stat that was always mentioned with him, before that game, was his remarkably low interception rate.
Yeah, surprised you guys chose Rex Grossman over Cody Parkey. The double-doink will be infamous. But recency bias might have some to do with it. I feel the Rich Gannon shot was a bit rough too, the other team did know his entire playbook.... literally.
Jimmy G ain’t alone, Purdy on that list now too😂
Bostick for GB. Dropped the inside kick against the Seahawks, that hit him in the hands.
Forgot about Neil O'Donnell, QB for Steelers. Threw 2 pick six against the Cowboys.
I know you mentioned Joe Flacco for the Ravens, but let's not forget the pass that Lee Evans dropped in the 2011 AFC championship game against the Patriots
Or Cundiff's FG shank right after that. The game goes to OT if he makes it.
For me, it's the Coaches of Detroit who decided to not run the ball more than just ELEVEN times with Hall Of Fame RB Barry Sanders in the 1991 NFC Championship Game.
Jake Matthews holding was a tough one, but the real villain is Kyle Shanahan.
I agree with jaworski but what about bradberry too. The worst holding call of all time and cost us a Super Bowl. -Die hard eagles fan
Brandon Bostick. If he recovers an onside kick, we beat Seattle 19-14 and we get Rodgers vs Brady in Super Bowl XLIX
I did not here the name Neil O’Donnell am I trippin.
Not Wilson's fault the play was called. All they had to do was give Beast Mode the ball.
Vikings fans: ONE??? I can think of 5 in 5 different NFC championship games since 1978!
Dan Fouts 1982 championship game is what you're going with for the Chargers? Try throwing in -60 windchill conditions. And running back Chuck Muncie fumbled three times that day.
12:14 I mean when Donovan McNabb literally threw up on the sidelines in the Super Bowl with the Patriots was pretty bad too in my opinion
Staubach should of passed it to Billie Joe Dupree instead of Jackie Smith. That wasn't Staubach's fault, it was Jackie Smith's for not catching it.
Time to get reminded of Brandon bostick again
I'm SHOCKED you didn't say Brandon Bostick for the Packers
49ers: Kyle Williams, 2011 NFCC, fumbled away two punts, including one in OT.
5 struggling sports teams they may become great soon and 5 that will still struggle
Dee Ford Screwed on himself in the 2018 AFC Championship game vs Patriots lined up offsides like an idiot of a man 5:55
As a Patriots fan, it's Asante Samuel. The play before the helmet catch, Samuel had the easiest interception in the world in his hands and then dropped it. Awful.
Where was the lions in there??
Brandon Bostick's misplay on the onside kick in the '14 NFC Championship game was worse for the Packers. And the Refs were the Saints worst culprit
Lovie Smith deserves credit for the lose to.
Well for the last 15 years no Steelers player should be named. It should be Mike Tomlin with an assist with Matt Canada, Teryl Austin and Randy Fichtner along with several other coaches that have screwed the Steelers out of a SB.
It's longer than 15 years, but don't blame Fichtner. His offense led Ben to a 5100 yard season. Not his fault Conner couldn't stay healthy and JuJu fumbled in NO. Not his fault AB was a loon. Maybe the defense could have helped a little between 2014-2018. They were HORRIBLE.
I will always believe that the bears wouldve won if orton was starting. They made it to the super bowl not because of grossman but despite having grossman
Orton or Griese probably would've won it. That Bears team was stacked.
What about Neil O'Donnell in Superbowl XXX, The Cowboys really didn't have an answer for the Steelers run game and defense and instead when it came to passing the ball he kept throwing to a WIDE open Larry Brown
As a Seahawks diehard, too soon. 🏈🤷
Everyone can blame Jimmy G all they want in Super Bowl 54. Bottom line, refs were doing Chiefs too many favors to help them win.
Same thing will happen Sunday. No way they let Mr. Irrelevant beat golden boy Mahomes
Top 10 active who could become the GOAT.
Top 10 who could have been GOAT if career wasn't derailed by injury, early retirement, etc.
Do the same video but with coaches
some of these are coaches fault like altanta when they kept throwing the ball when they couldve ran the ball and ran clock out
Atlanta always choked because their whole basis was not winning a SB for the franchise but trying to one up the Saints and Brees. Outside the 49ers and Steelers, no team elicited a more passionate division rivals to the extremes of trying to compete at their level than the Saints to the Falcons. Atlanta played the better defense and more balanced card and unlike Brees, Matt Ryan needed explosive stud receivers to even remotely match him to Brees. When the Saints got back on track, they put the stamp on the NFC South and cemented their place as the powerhouse team of that division winning it four straight years.
How is Feely the scapegoat? Seriously they just got beat by both Indy and Pitt. At least find a real player to blame
I’d say Plaxico more for the Giants they looked like they were gonna repeat the year after the Super Bowl
I don’t know what happened with the Saints section of the video but
This list is conflating winning a SB and going to the SB.
