- I made a Minecraft note block cover of "Give a Little", LeGrand's music video featuring CG5 (the "Everybody told me that I sound like CG5" song). The cover was made entirely by ear and manually built in-game. Enjoy the video!

I honestly struggled to make this cover sound accurate to the original, hence the long delay (I started working on this video months ago!). I ended up using tons of sticky pistons, which take 1.5 redstone ticks to extend. This allows note blocks to be played in between ticks for faster, more precise rhythms.

The "AMEN!" being a villager "hrrm" is pretty clever
It's especially fitting when you realize there are priest villagers
Man, its wierd that Im now only realizing that pistons are kinda a novel thing for noteblocks, also, learning the fact that you do this by EAR is just amazing, I dont think I could do this by sheet music. Very impressive, I dont know how you do it.
P.S. The gameplay bits are a wonderful touch

I love the use of pistons having 1.5 tick delays for the half ticks between note blocks! its always a fun technique to use
I've used them here and there, but oh my god I slowly went insane for this song

Like how the reversed synths at the start well Minecraft chimes. And really cool technique to do those weird triplet rhythms with pistons! I can't imagine the hell you went through to time that.

This sounds great! do find it a little weird that your using CG5's face on the thumbnail instead of legrand's, but i geuss its more clickable with your audience lol. hope you make more legrand remixes in the future!
