The Vitamix ‘self-cleans’. Just put a little water and a splash of washing-up liquid in the jar, put on the lid and let it run for a minute or so. Pour it out & rinse. Cleaning done!
If you leave it work for 16 minutes it is nice and smooth and cleans very easy with a few drops of dish soap and hot water and most of it gets cleaned out after you take your nut butter. I only did 2 cups like the instructions say.
read the instructions. max nuts for NutraMilk is 5 cups of soft nuts. Hard nuts like almonds is 3 cups max. If done right NutraMilk is a set it and forget appliance. It makes the creamiest nut butters without the hassle of tamping with the vitamix and much quieter. Mind you, I have both and love both. But I now make my butters and milks with the NutraMilk. No comparison.
@@fidolinatucker3214 The nutramilk is the way to make nut butters and nut milks. I'd rather push a button and have the machine do all the work rather than standing for 10 minutes with the Vitamix tampering the nuts. That is a pain. I mean I do love my vitamix but for certain things. I could never get my almond butter as creamy with the vitamix as I do. with the nutramilk. And cleaning the nutramilk is a breeze since it all comes apart. 5 minutes of washing my nutramilk when I'm done is sooooo much easier than 10 minutes tamping and trying to get your nut butter smooth with the vitamix.
@@fidolinatucker3214 I have found that they both have their advantages. What I really want is a fusion of the two machines. Variable speed, top access while running, and strong motor.
@@brucebenik2 I totally love my Vitamix. When it comes to pureeing something or a smoothie with ice there's nothing better than the Vitamix! But when it comes to nut butter and nut milk the Nutramilk is the clear winner. I feel fortunate to have both of them! :)
Nutramilk goes right into the dishwasher. It’s a much easier to work with machine, especially of you like plant or nut milks. It handles what you put in so well you don’t have to strain the milk. Far easier to deal with than the Vitamix when it comes to making nut butter or milk.
Since making this video I have started making oat milk. It can make a mash, but is utterly incapable of straining itself with its milk container. The fines clog the mesh instantly never letting more than a few drops. Spoiler alert, my next video will be focused on giving advice to the makers how they can rebuild this and produce a quality product, but I'm pretty sure they already know this as this smacks of designed obsolesces and failure.
What about doing a review with the intended marketed usage for the nutramilk by making a 'milk' instead of just a review for butter? When adding water, the unit filters out the coarse bits from the crushed nuts resulting in a very smooth liquid.

it is very easy to clean, unless you put raw banana peels. That took days to clean out.

The instruction manual details making butter.
He has the nut bowl (😂), not the milk bowl...
Does the Nutrimilk leave particulates in the nut milk?
I like the nutramilk better for making nut milks.
Both are really expensive. 😭😭
All you could have done is rerun the nutramilk second time to get your desire consistency.

I think you judged the product prematurely AND admittedly without reading the instructions ... Not a good combo lol
