my 40000miles sh300i refuses to wear tires. I change them every 3 or 4 years because the rubber becomes hard but actually they dont wear anything compared to the rear tire of my sv650. used to buy bridgestone but last time michelin city grip at the rear.

Impressive tyre life, On my Supercub rear only just made 5k miles and front is almost gone at 6.2k, ridden on very hilly terrain, Interesting observations, thanks.

Thank You and can I just ask please do the City grip 2`s absorb the bumps as well as the City Grip 1`s did please. I do have a new CG2 ready to go on next but if you push down on the tyre the sides of the CG 2 feel much stiffer than the CG 1s to me. Suspension is not great on a scooter, so all extra bump absorbtion helps. Thanks You again.

Hi, I have a question, what is the ideal pressure for the Michelin city grip 2 scooter tires? My tires are 130/70-13 rear and 120/80-14 front

@DaBinChe , watched both review videos, please compare your experience directly of each City Grip 2 vs Pirelli Angel Scooter:
    1. What are the weights of each tire in same sizes?
    2. Which tire has better dry grip, handling, responsiveness, feel at the limit, ability to recover past the limit?
    3. Are there any higher performance tire in 16" sizes?
    4. What are the effects of going both slightly wider, and slightly narrow than stock tire size on the same stock wheel width?
    Thanks!

I have weight videos on both sets. Talk about #2 on the long term review and I think compared the CG2 to the Angel. As for performance, depends on what type: dry grip Angels, longevity wet grip CG2, As for narrower or wider tires on stock wheel, keep stock size is best, usually wider makes steering more sluggish, narrow the opposite but have to consider diameter might be off.

      @@DaBinChe
      1. Can you feel the weight difference between them?
      2. You compared CG1 to Angel, could you compare CG2 in to Angel in dry grip, handling, responsiveness, slip angle, control at/recovering past limit, each with a numerical rating?
      3. Is there any higher street dry performance tire in these sizes in 16"? Have you tried Bridgestone Battlax SC, ContiScoots?

@@ihdandia Don't think I ever used CG1 only CG2. Look at my moto tires playlist to see what tires I have used.

@@DaBinChe I looked through the playlists, and watched your Angel initial and long term videos, and the CG2 videos, twice already. In the initial Angel you had not tried CG2 yet, so compared it to CG1, maybe based on other info than trying it yourself. Either way your videos are great, many people on the internet have these questions, thus the views on these videos! Since you've tried both now, we would like to know your thoughts directly comparing Angel to CG2s, they are not mentioned in the videos. Could you kindly answer the questions in the previous comment?

the dunlop scootersmarts that came with my xmax have shown significant wear with only 5,000 miles. thanks for the long term look, really glad to see they last long. How is the shock absorption, handling, and grip?

Depends on how you ride, conditions etc, but for me they last about 5000 miles.
