Another tip, supermarkets usually mark down their products later in the day. Try to find out when your local supermarket (or bakery) marks down their products. You may have to hang around waiting for them to come out and mark things down, but you can save money if you can pick up some marked down meat. Bakeries can't keep bread and baked products until the next day, so they will often reduce the prices (or even give things away) at the end of the day.
@@tomwilon882 it depends on the supermarket. I haven't had to do this for a long time, but I used to find being there later in the day was best. You could ask one of the employees. They can only say they can't share that info. Be aware, there can be a few people hanging around waiting for markdowns. I'd try around 4-6pm. Later in the day, but still time for things to sell.
This video truly stands out, surpassing even your remarkable content. I feel honored to witness the excellence and dedication you've poured into it. Exceptional work!
Aldi is very common in the western suburbs of Sydney, sometimes only 6-7 km apart from each other. You can even find Aldi in Wollongong and Nowra, all the way up North in Ballina, and as far west as Dubbo, being the No3 supermarket in Australia, i personally think it has great coverage, whith most regional cities/ towns at least having one Aldi.
Thank you very much for all these tips.. i’m about to migrate to Australia this year. So excited but i need to be prepared for the expenses. I once visited Australia & it’s expensive! So this video is very helpful. ❤😊
I wish I saw your vids last year because then possibly I could have helped my friend who is back in Peru now. She worked hear as a cleaner and got caught up in covid so stayed here but then returned. She would have loved to here permanently.
Heyy, ty u so much for your content. This video is one of the most informative video, I have ever seen about living in Australia. ty for your effort I'm a new immigrant, and I will be in Australia next Aug.
Hey !! Your videos are super helpful. Thanks for putting in so much efforts for people like us :-) I wanted to check how should I apply for the student card which you mentioned to get concessions
Hi! Glad to hear the vids are helping :) - If you're a student here in Aus, your university or TAFE institute will give you a student card, and this is the card you'll use to get access to concessions :)
Much appreciated, keep making more detail videos about things we didn't much focus on. like investments or saving and networking I guess. ps- couldn't think of any probably cause didn't think it through...
Wow thank you very much for making this Video…it really helps a lot… I have a question, I am planning to move to Australia and would like to be in the social WhatsApp group to know more about Visa process and living experience at ground reality. It would really help me if you can recommend some groups. Look forward to know more about Australia and keep posting new videos
Thank you for the comment! glad you found it helpful :) For legal/visa advice, I'd suggest contacting a registered migration agent (make sure they are MARA registered, check the MARA website). Hope this helps :)
Heartfelt thanks for your video. All of your videos have helped me embark on a new journey in Australia. I hope you can create more valuable content about Australia in the future. Sincere gratitude. VN12/08/2024
Thank you :) I didn't put a specific link because it varies from state to state! I'd suggest Googling: "student concession public transport victoria" (or whichever State you live in. e.g. 'western australia' 'new south wales' etc.). Most (if not all) states have student concessions. Hope this helps
Thank you so much for the video it was very helpful. Furthermore I need to ask u, I'm an international student and I'm not sure if my scholarship will cover my OSHC insurance. How much does it cost if I am to pay for that myself?
Hi! thanks for the feedback :) Regarding your question, many unis here in Aus have university boat clubs (and diff type of sports club) so highly recommend checking up with them (e.g. there's the Melbourne University Boat club, the University of Queensland boat club, etc.)
Hi, I'm from India very recently I started seeing your video, I'm Looking for job in Australia but I like to come after getting the job. Comming there and searching l'm not interested there is option like that can you make video regarding that

Hi good afternoon, Please i am new here in Sydney currently based around King's Cross, will appreciate it if someone can help me find a cheap permanent accommodation in a suburb not too far from Rushcuters Bay Area thanks. I will be reading comments
Hello Martina, we love your videos!! We are a family parents + 2 teenagers from Spain travelling to Australia in Christmas🎄 for 3 weeks, initially we thought to visit Sydney Melbourne and Tasmania, do you think is a good choice of itinerary? How many days will advise to give to each stop? Thanks for your kind help, cheers
Hi! Thanks for your comment :) The three cities are very different but so beautiful, so good choice! It's definitely doable visiting the major parts of these three cities in 3 weeks but you'll be a bit tight for time. I'd suggest spending 7 days in Sydney (see Opera House, Bondi beach, The Rocks, Darling Harbour, Blue Mountains, take the Ferry to Watsons bay and Manly, cycle along the harbour bridge, Northern beaches). 4-5 days in Hobart (I recommend doing day tours to get the most of out of those days - Mona (a must), Mt wellington, Freycenet, Port Arthur, Brunny island). And Melbourne 4-5 days (I recommend walking around the city and getting lost in the laneways, visit suburbs like fitzroy, NGV and ACME, brighton beach, take a day tour to great ocean road and another wine tour in the yarra valley, or one to Philip island, visit national parks such as wilsons prom or grampians). So many things to do! (sydney more water + beach), melbourne (more city life), tasmania (more nature). Hope this helps :)
Super markets have there own brand farmers markets are not always cheap and most op shops are more expensive than Kmart you don’t know too much about Australia and how to live cheaper you just think you do
