This was a great subject to base your content on, which was full of interesting information, and well delivered. It’s actually exciting at this point to enter into a discussion … I will say from my point of view, the question of who the greatest chess-player of all time is is not a question that I could answer fairly, and that’s because I don’t know enough about the other players or other examples of great chess players … I am fairly new to the scene, but I’ve seen how Magnus does his thing in comparison to other contemporaries, and it’s hard for me to imagine that players from other eras could be as good as Magnus is, though I have heard very good arguments for Bobby Fischer, and Garry Kasparov is also someone whose name I have heard when this question comes up, even from Magnus himself … So, I’m going to say Magnus because the way I see it is, for him to do what he does when he plays, he’s showing a level of understanding of chess that I haven’t noticed elsewhere ever. I might need to research, but at the same time, I’m satisfied that Magnus Carlsen is a very good answer to this question. With thanks for this content 😊

I'd say Bobby Fischer is the greatest player as he was able to shift over soviet dominance in the chess world during the time of the Cold War. And with how many historical games he has made throughout history, like with the legendary fight between him and Boris Spasky, and him vs. The Magician, Mikhail Tal.
So who is the GOAT?
Mikhail Tal is the best player yet
@@scar_mysticmaybe, but I disagree. Thanks for the comment
Garik Kimovich Kasparov
Morphy

You forgot the best goat, MIKHAIL TAL.
(He literally beat Kasparov a month before he kicked the bucket)
Your forgetting the true GOAT
Martin
Aw man. I forgot.
I think *you're* the GOAT of chess @Antho_BOi :D
I think you’re the goat
