This show was recorded in 2009 in Las Vegas, she was sick but not pregnant. She delivered amazing vocals even though she was sick.
Blue Ivy was born in 2012. Beyoncé had morning sickness at Glastonbury Festival, in 2011.
I think she was but miscarried I think their referencing from the documentary when she talks about being pregnant and having to do Vegas

Beyonce is so good at everything that we usually talk about her singing, dancing, and producing but her sheer musicality doesnt get enough recognition. Like being able to riff is one thing but being able to play with the scales and the voice the way she does proves her mastery of music, she really treats it like an instrument that she's learned inside out.

I will always stand by Beyoncé being underrated, especially vocally. There are certain singers who just have the whole package. Being beautiful, have stage presence, can dance and the gp has such a SMALL attention span they do not realize how great of a singer these kinds of entertainers are. Beyoncé, Tina Turner, Prince are 3 artists that come to mind where the stage persona makes people not pay attention to how great the vocals are

Yes! So many people say Beyoncé is overrated, she is everywhere etc etc. But I think she is underrated as a vocalist! 🐝
When people think of Beyoncé they just think of her hits and her as a performer/dancer. But she is definitely up there as a vocalist as well! ❤ AND she's got an amazing ear for instrumental/transitions/duets etc.
Also, she wasn't really feeling well here. And this is from years ago, it's even better now!

The song transitions in this set are top-tier. I also love her cover of "Sweet Love" by Anita Baker. She did a fantastic job. Imagine how this set would sound with her vocals today now that her voice has a bit of a deeper tone to it. Sheesh... I'd love for her to do this again.

But she is by far more skilled as a vocalist than all 3 of these ladies. Especially considering the also has taken great care of her voice and is arguably better than ever. And I prefer her over them. But I like how whenever ppl talk about Beyoncé as a vocalist, the only ppl yall can think of to try to use to put her down are singers who are considered the greatest. I think that’s a compliment

I definitely think she is underrated and gets hate over stupid misunderstandings all the time. But I think it takes some sort of a mindset, open-mind to understand what Beyoncé's artistry is all about. And I loveeeee this medley, gets me teary every time :')
This is testament to in the film when she said she know how to sing with damage vocals. This lady is unfucking real. She can still make her vocals work with a dark texture that is very intentional. She turn her lemons (men demaging her voice at a young age) into lemonades once again. Her and Jay Z were destine. She is pure magic and a wholesome experience.

Everyone else has pretty much said everything else, so I’ll just add that the dress part of the costume is vintage Louis Vuitton and had to be shipped to Las Vegas in a crate from the Vuitton archive in Paris.
